Just Totally Worn Out

And In Need of Some Fun

May 25, 2020

I know it's been awhile since I posted anything in here, and it's not because there's nothing to post, because believe me, there's more than enough. It's just that the past few days I've been working furiously trying to get what needs to be done, done before the heat wave hits as I can't tolerate heat and we had only 2 days of spring temperatures this year and both days it was raining. I managed to get most of the garden planted, still have about a 1/4 left to do, as the weed matting was severely damaged by the winter and so I had to replace parts of that and tack down the rest that I can't replace because of perennial plants growing in those areas. I still don't have that finished and other stuff that I was supposed to do isn't done yet either and one of those was to help my husband put in an air conditioner.

Tomorrow is when it'll be needed, but it'll be too hot do it, I think. As for the heavier air conditioners those won't be put in until our son comes over to help his father with it.  Meanwhile I'll just sit under a ceiling fan with frozen bags of veggies on my forehead and neck maybe.  Don't know what else to do. Or maybe try some of the tricks in this article;  How to stay cool without air conditioning this summer. I have tried them many times before and they just didn't do the trick. But, I guess as I have no choice I'll have to try them again and see if they work any better this time around.

Anyhow the most I intend to do during those heatwave days is nothing, except maybe post on my blog, surf the net, maybe watch TV if something good on.

Oh speaking of which, so I don't forget, at least, this coming Friday at 8pm CBS is supposed to have a show on teaching us how to cut hair as per this CNN story: 'Haircut Night in America' is here to save you, because I seriously need a haircut. If this show doesn't show me what I need/want to know I  guess I'll have my husband go to town on my head with the barber's razor because of the stories I've been reading about hair salons spreading the virus, like this one: A second hairstylist who worked while symptomatic potentially exposed 56 clients to Covid-19, officials say. So, I either do it myself or have my husband do it for me.

Until tomorrow when I'll post more about this plandemic we're going through, I thought I'd post other interesting and fun stuff instead, because I need to relax and chill out a bit, before I get my blood pressure soaring again.

As I just want to take it easy & chill out a bit, without using too much effort or anything, I decided to look for some online games that appeal to me, like word, card & board games for now. Which I will probably visit and try some games on the various sites and maybe hop from game to game and site to site before the night's out. Some of the sites host games that you can play against personal socially distanced friends, or other players located anywhere in the world, or online bots, or just against the game itself. Or in some cases as they're word puzzles and crossword games just against yourself.  Anyhow, whenever you get the urge to play a game or two because you're sick of the ones you already have or are missing that kind a game play and just want to chill out and relax that way, feel free to try these sites out:
