Waiting in the Car, Playing Games, Radio Listening, Dr.'s Office & Listing Headlines For ....

 Covid 19

November 9, 2020

I quite literally spent most of the afternoon sitting in our car waiting for my husband who had a doctor's appointment for his back (it's about freaking time). While he was in there, I was in the car, playing games on a tablet of mine and listening to the car radio. Not a very thrilling or interesting day and I accomplished a whole lot of nothing on top of that.

I did call my son though to find out how he was and to tell him (as he's the one that predicted it and I posted it - without citing him as being the one that said it) that he was right about what he said about if Biden won the presidency, how the week after he wins, we'll suddenly start seeing vaccines being made and being made available. I mentionned that since Biden won we'd be seeing vaccines getting approved and maybe even being made and distributed this week, earlier on my blog on November 7th to be precise, in this post "New Toilet Installed, Motor Cycle Accident, Waiting Anxiously For News, & Posting Headlines on....", in the comment on Herculean Effort on Vaccines,  And sure enough! Look at the headlines that greeted me on Drudgereport this morning November 9th, when I signed onto the net:

COVID MIRACLE?
JAB '90%' PROTECTION

STOCKS ROCKET TO RECORD

Not sure  - what's going on right now. I can't put it back in non-bold nor align left mode. It stays centerized and in bold face.... That's going to make things really awkward here.

As this is obviously a super glitch in the "new blogger" thing and I can't seem to get out of it, consider this the blablabla portion of today's headline posts and follow on to the next post to get the actual headlines.   So hang in there as Part II will follow.....

 .......                                                                   Part II

Sooooo.... Um yeah that was fun.... Continuing on from all that fun with the above post, here's the headlines:

The following few headlines are based on the front page on Drudgereport this morning - which is in the previous post for today. As I said that I wouldn't be posting any more news stories with after the Oct 31st headlines, it's been hard to stick to that because everyday there's an extraordinary headline related to COVID 19 that can't be ignored. Yesterday was some military type was saving that WWIII was going to start because of COVID19, so that story got posted because of it's significance in how bad things could get. Then today that headline from Drudge, that I couldn't resist posting in here was a dramatically different tone.  And so like I said the following few headlines are from today and related to that posting on drudgereport's site. They have absolutely nothing to do asa

TSX jumps following Pfizer vaccine news, Biden victory Even here in Canada it had an effect already.

Now I'm not sure this is the big change I was talking about or not. So I'll follow the headlines for the next few days and see where it's going. If it is a change (the one I was hoping for - not necessarily Biden winning but the turn around in outlook and stories) or not. If it appears to have momentum and keeps on going I'll resume posting the headlines from the day I decide it is indeed a change and enough of one to warrant reopening the blog, but only after I can finish all the headlines leading up to Oct 31st. Still have those to post.

So resuming from where I left off last night....

The holidays are coming. Does the COVID-19 pandemic mean you should skip even small family gatherings? What experts say. Doesn't matter what the experts say, I'm going to have a family gathering for Christmas. Line up the gestapo boots outside my door now so incase....

I wouldn't know what those are exactly, since I don't have time to work with any of my hobbies, as this blog fills all my free time and just as I thought I was going to put it to bed at least for a little while, so I could work on some of my hobbies in order to make Christmas presents..... Surprise, surprise, we might have a pandemic turn around, which means if we do, I'll have to resume posting the current headlines as soon as I get caught up on the October headlines. So, much for my free time and hobbies eh?

She wasn't infected. Why she almost lost her life because of Covid-19 That's what I've been saying about this plandemic, that there's a lot of other people who are also dying because of COVID19 but not because they have it, but because they don't and the doctors refuse to treat them because they don't have COVID symptoms.

Pollution and Covid-19: Delhi hit by 'double whammy' No wonder they have such high rates. It was my contention from the very beginning while it was raging in Wuhan, that it might be hitting it really hard because of the pollution (because China isn't exactly renown for it's pristine beauty and pure fresh air), same with India, Brazil and even the parts of the US where they were particularly hard hit like California, NY and Florida. Chicago should be up there in the ranks as well, not sure why it isn't unless it's because all it's smoggy air gets blown across the border into Canada....

They don't have those old laugh and clap tracks that they used to use on sitcoms before they had live audiences come to watch the live taping of it? Those used to be used all the time. People, like my mother caught on to them because there was apparently certain sounds that was evident everytime the tracks were used, like a certain sound of someone laughing a certain way or something like that that she vowed up and down was a taped laugh track and everyone called her crazy until later on they revealed that yeah they did use such contrivances for both laugh segments and clap segments. So if they had and used such a thing in the 1960s can't they dust them off and maybe redo the segments so they're not the same ones and use such types tracks again now?

Eerie photos reveal how Covid curfew is transforming Paris Our son showed us pictures of the major downtown Montreal streets Ste. Catherine, and Sherbrooke during the 1st lockdown when he was down there one day. They were kind of similar to these pictures but with a lot less cars and traffic. To see the difference in those pictures place your cursor on the center line in the picture and drag it from one side to the other & vice versa.

Well that should be quite a significant number of people considering their population is about 67 million. So that is roughly 3.5 million people who have antibodies and I wonder if they had 3.5 million positive cases yet?

Okay all I want to know is how high were the fevers these people who are losing their hair had? If they were really high, then that's probably why they're losing their hair like that. It's lucky they aren't losing their skin too in that case. I'm not joking - as I'm the only known survivor of scalded skin syndrome in the world, I'm speaking from experience here. My fever was so high they couldn't register it on the thermometers they had, and they thought I was going to die. I didn't. But after my fever went down and I got better and discharged from the hospital my hair started falling out in clumps and I was shedding my skin and nails even several layers deep, so that my newly exposed epidermis was a sticky bright pink colour and not my normal skin tone and it was like that pretty much all over my body. My nails also shed several layers or if they were thin they just plain fell out and new ones grew back in. But generally speaking high fevers do things like that to you. It's like as if you got an ultra mega sunburn or something or akin to a burn from a house fire - maybe 2nd degree or so burns. So that's why I suspect high fevers in these people.  The things I've had and survived is almost mind-boggling. From that to a broken neck, to 33% of hemoglobin left in my system, to several accidents and near drownings and on it goes, ... It's almost like I'm indestructible.  I know I have more than 9 lives as I've already used them all up and then some....

Cancer research another long-term casualty of the coronavirus pandemic, scientists say The list would be so much shorter if we just listed the things this plandemic hasn't affected. Oh I know.... Politicians plans, their lives and livelihoods & thus incomes. Hmmmm well I guess that's about it or all I can think of as it's affected just about everything and everyone else I can think of.

Ramped-up ICE arrests amid Covid outbreaks show 'irresponsible disregard,' Hispanic Caucus says Yeah kind of like the ramped inspections and fines the Office de la Langue Francais is giving restaurants and bars (who have been forced to close because of the pandemic) now. Like it's an extra kick in the head, as they apparently haven't had enough kicks in the head, gut and groin so far this year from all the lockdowns and closures due to not being able to remain in business, so now just to make extra sure it's really ONLY THE SUPER TOUGH & STRONG STANDING at the end of the pandemic it seems like Mr. Gestapo Boots Legault has sent the OLF after les maudits anglais sale qu'ils ont les nerves de poster les chose en anglais. Just to make sure that when the pandemic is over with and they can all reopen again the only ones that will will be Lafleurs Chien Chaud, and La Belle Province frits & hamburgeois et non les maudit sale restaurantes anglais. It's called "kick'em while they're down".

Oh doom & gloom are us.... I doubt it'll last forevermore.  At some point in time either science will find a way to conquer it, or it'll wane or we'll wane out of existance as a species.

Not if every other economy holds them responsible for devastating their economies via their virus that they let loose on the world and sues them for damages. Canada should whether other countries want to or not, considering all the grief that country has caused Canada. I think China is Canada's main #1 enemy at this point. If we had nukes and I was in charge I'd have them all pointed towards China and wait for them to make even the smallest aggression towards us as an excuse to wipe them off the map. I am so infuriated with them it's not funny.

Hey pot users you should have no problems recovering from the lung damage then!

Italy Did Everything Right to Stop a Second Wave of the Coronavirus. So What Went Wrong?  We'd all love to know the answers to questions like that because even though we're under strict lockdown here in QC our cases are growing in number on a daily basis.

I'm a couple decades younger than that, but I feel the same way. Whatever time we have left we want to live and enjoy it. Not stay stuck in a house or room with 4 walls. Anyone who can't understand something that simple has no business running anything, much less a country, a province, a state, a city or even a frigging hamlet of 3 for the total population.

Well that's it for tonight.... Until next time take care and stay well.

Just Another Blase Day Because of the Weather &

 Covid19

October 21, 2020

What a drab & dreary day! Made worse by the fact that the coronavirus is still floating around out there and as a result we're under lockdown.  I can't name much that I accomplished today except maybe doing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen after supper. I didn't even cook supper I let my husband do it. I just arranged all the ingredients to go into it and let him cook it. It was really good. It was curry mango chicken, rice & yellow beans, with sliced cucumbers on the side. The curry mango sauce is store bought but he used the chicken cubes I cooked earlier this summer when the freezer went on the fritz and a mango that I cut into cubes to add into it. I think that meal was probably the highlight of my day. I probably liked it a lot more than I would've if I were the one that prepared it, but he did and so it was yummy.  But basically most of the day I've been fighting to keep my eyes open and not fall asleep.

I'm beginning to think that maybe I'm suffering from a weird form of depression. One where you aren't sad or worried about things, but just sleepy all the time. Either that or I have the sleeping sickness. But I'm not used to being so sleepy all the time. I used to be an insomniac and had a hard time getting to sleep, now I'm the reverse I can barely stay away long enough to type my name without it being a struggle.  Especially if I'm seated somewhere. If I'm standing up and walking I'm not apt to even feel sleepy let alone doze off as I tend to do these days, but that's the only time I'm not sleepy.

As for my feelings about this stupid pandemic, it's not anxiety, or fear, or sadness, or any of that. It's more like anger - at how the imbeciles in charge let the virus in in the first place and then used it as an excuse to F the economy and everyone's lives over with, instead of implementing quarantines the proper and recommended way. And my marvel at the masses swallowing that BS hook, line and sinker without rebelling en masse.  I get it. Not everyone was trained in the medical field and so they don't know. But jeemus H christopher, everyone should've had a clue about if we let whatever was going around in Wuhan at the time, in here, we'd have the same problem here and demanded the borders be shut down even if the imbeciles in charge weren't so inclined to do that. I mean it wasn't rocket science. It was as plain as the nose on your face, that if that disease got into another country it would ravage that other country like it was doing in China, it wouldn't suddenly change and become more benign and less contagious just because it crossed borders into another country. And I'm angry that whatever few fun things there were to do out there in this world was forbidden or so restricted it was like why bother going in the first place. Even just going to see the fall foliage was restricted because we would've wanted to be going into an other region that wasn't in the red zone to do that. I mean what else?

Oh and while I think of it Bell Canada's cable box is going on the fritz now too so even watching stuff is basically off limits as well. Going to call them if resetting the box doesn't work. Hopefully I remember how to do that, or I'll have to call them anyhow. I'll find out in a few minutes if I remembered properly or not, because by then it should've reset and either work or not work at all.  Whoo Hoo! This old lady's memory isn't as bad as I thought it might be because whatever I did magically fixed the problem with the cable box and our TV.

So I think my sleepiness might have more to do with nothing to keep my mind occupied, I mean with the pandemic it's basically like my friend used to say "it's the same sheite just different day", so no matter how many stories I find and read it's just more of the same boring drivel as far as I'm concerned. When they wake up and start flying right is maybe when I'll wake up too as at least there'll be something of interest to wake up for. In fact, I'm seriously considering putting this blog on hold at the end of this month, until something changes in the pandemic. Either it gets better and things start coming back to some form of normalcy or there's a vaccine, or it gets much much graver and more dire and people need to be alerted to the new measures in order to protect themselves and their loved ones. But I seriously can't see why I would continue listing headline after headline of this kid getting sick in this school and there being an out break at some other school and squabbling over masks. Or this couple defied lockdown orders and got fined and that party host also got fined for defying lockdown orders and that sort of repetitious stuff that is happening everywheres. Or this vaccine is in the works and that one failed or caused problems and Fauci and Trump said..... whatever (both of them are blowing hot air out their mouths as far as I'm concerned) or Santa Trudeau found some other well to do group to give COVID help to while constantly ignoring the homeless, seniors, poor, and disabled. I think there's already more than enough stories in here demonstrating those aspects of the pandemic. So at the end of October I'll put this blog into hibernation and wait until there's major changes one way or the other on the horizon and then re-awaken it. But it'll still be here and accessible to you whenever you wish to visit and read it. In the meantime I'll still give it my best to post as many headlines as I can leading up to that date and to get current with the Oct 31st date.

As we already know.

I wasn't even aware that South Koreans celebrated Thanksgiving. I thought that was a celebration strictly practiced in North America to give thanks for surviving the first winter and reaping the first harvests.

COVID-19 pandemic highlights need to document decisions: Information commissioner That's for sure and the decisions taken should be based on what's best for the country and not for themselves and their families, like junior wanting to go out trick or treating and so the MP decides that they should be allowed to do that, or worse yet the 15 year old wanna be rapper pesters the MP into allowing large  rap concerts or at least that one that the kid wants to see. Things of that nature. Or for selfish reasons like agreeing to speak at a charity for money (as in the WE charity). You know stuff like that.

Well of course. It wouldn't be the Canadian House of Commons if there weren't goofs and glitches. Because that pretty much describes those taking up the seats in there, too.

I thought that was all sorted out now and they had everything they need plus a surplus. Or was that a lie?

The chilling experiment which created the first vaccine A little history lesson on the creation of the first vaccines.

In case parents are concerned about the additional time they'll be spending on the screens because of the virtual schoolrooms these days. I know screens didn't hurt our kids at all. But we knew better than to let them have them in the privacy of their rooms and they had to use the computers in the computer area of the house where we all could see what they were doing. Consequently they learnt a lot even playing various games, some were intentionally educational and others were more for entertainment, but there were some exceptional games put out by Electronic Arts, like Sim City and the Sims that made them learn certain things. In fact I credit the Sims along with Lego blocks (not a program but the actual blocks) providing the interest in building and interior design that led to our son becoming an interior designer/architect and even a teacher in the subject as well. He loved building things with the blocks and virtually in 3d in the Sims 2 game, when he outgrew the blocks. It just all depends on what you allow your kids to do with the screens and where you allow them to take them as to the kind of harm or benefit they'll have on your kids.

Yosemite National Park turns 130 under COVID-19 limits and wildfire smoke advisories OMG This park is Beautiful! My husband took a picture of me standing next to the largest tree on earth there. He had to back up so far away so he could fit me and the entire circumference of the tree into the shot that I look like a little twig against the front of it.  I sure hope it survives the wildfires, but the park rangers there said that many of the huge pinecones that the sequoias drop can lay dormant on the ground for hundreds of years and only when there's a forest fire the pinecone will be forced open and the seeds will drop onto the ground and the ones that don't burn but manage to get into the ground and germinate will grow new baby sequoias. That they rely on fire for their continue existence, if memory serves me right.  Those trees are awesome.

I'm sure that goes equally as well for Canadians too.

Worldwide pandemic draining resources from Al-Hol camp If this is the camp set up to contain the ISIS brides and babies after the ISIS scum were captured or killed, I'm not sure why we should even care or concern ourselves with their problems.

Get a Flu Shot! I'm not usually a very big proponent of getting flu shots, but I actually think it might be a good idea this year. I'm even thinking of getting one myself.

They have time and room in the ORs for things like this but no time for cardiac or cancer related surgeries, huh?

The truth about CDC's Covid-19 death rate — and the conspiracies undermining it Actually NO! I take HUGE EXCEPTION TO THIS STATEMENT: Perpetuating the false notion that the virus is not serious or is only lethal to a select population is part of why we just reached one million deaths globally.

The MAIN PART OF THAT IS BECAUSE THE HEADS OF GOVERNMENTS WORLD WIDE LET THE VIRUS INTO THEIR COUNTRIES TO START WITH!!!!! I discussed this above in my description of my day. Any idiot with eyes and a half a brain cell in their heads should've been able to see what was going on in China and realize that if it got into their country it would do the same there too, and thus close their borders down to try their utmost to prevent that from happening. But nooooo they just stood by and watched it waltz in and take over their population. Here in Canada Tam and Trudeau actually welcomed it in with hugs and kisses and open arms because they didn't want to offend any Chinese people.  THAT, MY DEAR DELUDED JOURNALIST IS WHY THERE WERE A MILLION DEATHS WORLD WIDE. That coupled with the asinine way they handled things, which did more to collapse the economies than prevent the spread of the disease!

Police break up party with at least 1,000 attendees near Florida State University  Another one of those stories I talked about above.

Wow! Just wow! People risk their lives going to work to keep those scumbuckets businesses going during the pandemic and they deny them benefits?????? Wondering why anyone continues to work at those places then.

Virus, strife prompt 'resiliency' funds in Black communities It's good to see the US gov't finally doing something for the Black communities. Too bad they don't do more for them. It's not as if they don't deserve it. I think the way they've been treated over the centuries demands a huge restitution probably way more than that "resiliency fund" provides. So maybe now in these times when it's needed the most would be a good time for the US gov't to fork some of that restitution over to them in the form of money! So they could build better lives for themselves.

Due to coronavirus, nation's oldest Latino civil rights group moves 2021 convention online Something else going virtual on account of the virus. I really think we'd be hamstrung without the internet these days during this pandemic, if you ask me.

That's in the US, but maybe even here in Canada even with our medicare system we might start seeing a strain on that as well.

"Super healthy" Appalachian State student dies following COVID-19 complications People should take this as the example it's intended to be (scare em straight example), because there's exceptions to every rule. He might've appeared to be super healthy but he may have had an undiagnosed underlying illness that is the real cause behind this death.

Well, it looks like stores and brands that cater to the rich & famous, aren't doing very well either.

I'm sure Doug Ford had no qualms about getting his family together for Thanksgiving, while asking you to forego your own family Thanksgiving celebrations. It seems to me with the gov'ts these days it's " Do as I say, and Not as I do". Considering his original Thanksgiving plans and then announcing he'd be following the guidelines of the province.... Wondering if he actually did or not....

Mike Pence reportedly overruled the CDC on extending a cruise ship ban to 2021, the latest example of the White House sidelining expert advice in the pandemic I think the ban on those floating petri dishes should've been extended forever rather than having it overturned.

Too bad for the Chinese.

COVID-19 indoor transmission: Ways to prevent spread of COVID-19 at homes, offices caused by ventilation systems Wondering if air purifiers work as well? We have an air purifier, so I'm just wondering.

Maybe you should've given more money to seniors, the homeless, poor, and disabled, since it is their money to begin that you siphoned off of them in the form of taxes, that you're squandering hither and yon and throwing it at the world to try to make yourself look like a good guy to the rest of the world. There's still groups at home that need your help that you're practically ignoring.

Upsetting remarks? That's what you're worried about? If I were you I'd be more worried about what'll happen to you once the plandemic is over with and you're implicated in the mass murdering genocidal ash holes that have to stand a trial for crimes against humanity! Because that's what should happen to you and every other ash hole that let that virus into their jurisdiction! Because it wasn't rocket science and anyone with a half hour in med school would've KNOWN to CLOSE THE BORDERS to KEEP THE VIRUS OUT!!!!! The moment they heard about it on the news and what was going on with it in Wuhan!!!!!!!!!

Toronto long-term care home grappling with outbreak reports 42 active COVID-19 cases, including 1 death Of course. There weren't enough seniors killed off during the 1st wave, so they've got to make sure they finish what they started with this wave because who knows how many more waves they'll have before they manage to come up with a vaccine against it? IF they come up with a vaccine that is.

Anyhow I guess that's enough of my cynicism for the night.... Take care and stay well until the next time.

Finally!!!!!

August 14, 2020

Well it certainly has taken long enough for Goggle to uncover or provide answers on how to get back to the "legacy blogger". I only just discovered where to access it late last night, and while I have accumulated a ton of story links since I last posted a post in here, I don't know when I'll be able to start posting them all again. Because as is par for the course in my life, when a void is created where I used to do something but don't currently for whatever reason, something comes along immediately to fill the void.

One of the things filling the void is doing errands that needed to be done for eons now but not being able to due to the lockdown and pandemic and gradual reopening of things.

So today we took our dog in for her nails to be cut.  And I'm telling you, this insolent brat (well she's a 30 something or 40 something year old brat, to me) with her own brats I wanted to just slap like the little beitche she was/is. If she were my daughter I would've hauled off and smacked her one in the face for behaving like this one did. I'm walking into the pet shop where we have an appointment for the dog's nails and I have the dog on the leash. The dog (like most dogs) is ahead of me, almost to the door. I'm almost to the door myself (given that the leash is only about 2 feet long, that means I'm not more than 2 feet behind - not 2 meters - which is 6 feet, but 2 feet). Then I see this tub of lard with her brats en tow hustling toward the door as fast as she can literally jiggle the blubber there and the brats running ahead of her. They get to where I am (and I'm about ready to open the door - less than an arm's length away from it) and I said to her "so much for physically distancing eh?" and she replies "yeah so? no big deal!" I replied "well it is, to me, because my husband is a senior" (not to mention I am too but that's beside the point to this beitche apparently). So then she opens the door and holds it for her kids and well she couldn't just slam it in my face, so held it for me too. So then she says snidely "thank me for holding the door for you" and I turned around and said "why? I could've held it for myself, I didn't need you to do it" while thinking "yeah thank you for holding the door for me and possibly exposing me to COVID19 because you're too ignorant and stupid to physically distance yourself and your brats from others especially seniors".

It's people like her and her ilk I've had the hardest time restraining myself over since this all began. Most people including me, tries to defer to others when they see they're going to be crossing paths etc, and they or I stop and let the others go first. It's called common decency and manners, but some are ill bred swine who have no manners and acts like the world belongs to them and they can do whatever they want without regard for others. But I was ahead of her, way ahead until she started boogeying towards the door,  like there was a fire up her butt, instead of noticing I was there first and stopping and keeping a distance and letting me enter first, no she had to beat me by a half a second to get to the door first, without any regard for physical distancing at all. That's what irked me, not that she was necessarily at the door just ahead of me, but seeing the effort she made to be just ahead of me, instead of taking her time and behaving as is socially acceptable now - by deferring to someone who was ahead of her and keeping her distance and then to be so cavalier about it by saying "yeah so? no big deal!".  But the snideness about holding the door open remark was the icing on the cake as far as I was concerned and what would've merited a good slap upside the face if she were my daughter. That one wasn't brought up, she was thrown up as we used to say in elementary school. And she's a wonderful example for the two brats she's throwing up, all over the place.

This being August and one of the few months of the year where vegetables are being harvested or are cheap, I've found myself overwhelmed with food that I need to work with.  This includes still some of the food that I had to work with when our freezer went on the fritz last month.  So lately I've been consumed with taking care of various kinds of fruit, a large quantity of pumpkin puree, while tons of tomatoes came in the door from the garden as well. Not to mention zucchini. I am trying my best to take care of it all, before it goes bad, so I don't really have a lot of computer time on my hands lately. After all my first duty is to myself and my husband and as we require food like everyone else, I need to look after it, while I can. So the computer and thus this blog etc will be as I can and when I can, so in other words second fiddle, as long as Goggle doesn't mess the editor up again or force me back onto that mess they called an upgraded blog editor.

But there are a few  links at least that I really want you to see and be aware of. The first one, as far as I'm concerned is the most important of them all:

Details emerge of Vaccine Choice Canada lawsuit over coronavirus response  Because this lawsuit isn't just about vaccine choices, it's about all the damage done to the economy, the oppressive measures taken like lockdowns and forcing mask wearing etc, to stem what appears for the most part to be no worse than a bad seasonal flu. The only thing that I wished they hadn't included in this lawsuit is the 5G cell towers, because that may give the judges who may decide whether or not to hear this case pause and wonder if the plaintiffs aren't just conspiracy theorist freaks and dismiss the whole thing out of hand without even hearing it, despite all it's other valid points of contention. I really do hope that a judge gives it the go ahead, because it deserves to be heard and sorted out in a court of law, assuming that is if the lawyers on both sides knows the pertinent questions to ask and asks them, and doesn't just gloss over certain parts because it wouldn't be good for their side of the case, if the truth were known.

Health officials are quitting or getting fired amid outbreak  Too bad this isn't also the case in Canada.

The Coronavirus Is New, but Your Immune System Might Still Recognize It  Hence the possible reason some of us show no symptoms when we have the virus or we fight it off easier than others.

Canadians worried about side-effects of COVID-19 vaccine: poll  And they should be, considering that many pharmaceutical companies will be exempt from any legal liabilities due to a result of their vaccine's side effects - harmful or otherwise.

More than 1 billion students face 'generational catastrophe' due to COVID-19, UN warns  Is this being used as yet another excuse to dumb students down even more than they already were compared to past generations?

Having difficulty buying appliances during COVID-19? Here’s why   Finally a plausible explanation as to why something as fundamental as a freezer, ordered in mid July couldn't even be hazarded a thought of delivery before mid September.  It's lucky my husband got our freezer going again or we'd have literally been up the proverbial creek without a paddle, otherwise because there's no way whatever food we had we'd have been able to keep in a fridge or camper coolers for longer than a week tops and there's just no way we'd have been able to consume all that food in that short a timespan.

Scientists Uncover Biological Signatures of the Worst COVID-19 Cases

An impassioned obituary for a 79-year-old coronavirus victim blames Trump for his death, then calls out Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and people who refused to wear masks  People are starting to have had enough and are opening their eyes to the reality of the situation now and laying blame where it ought to be laid. Canadians should do the same and start naming Tam, Trudeau, Hajdu and their provincial premiers and health officiers too. Because it's their fault that it got into the country and provinces to begin with and let to spread rampantly all over the place before they even bothered to even acknowledge it, nevermind decide to try to curtail it's spread. Not only should they be named and shamed in each and every COVID19 obituary  posting, but all of these people should band together and demand legal action - to have those people removed from their posts and replaced with more competent honest people and tried for their negligence and crimes against humanity, or at least sued for gazillions of dollars each, if nothing else.  Seriously. I'm not joking.

Coronavirus did come from bats, say WHO scientists sent to Wuhan  No one is saying it didn't. What they are saying is this: it may have come from bats originally, but that didn't stop man (in this case the Chinese), from taking that virus and modifying it to suit their purposes.  Or as Gilead Sciences was also involved, it might've been an American / Chinese joint effort to make a bioweapon and the anecdote for it, in order to gain leverage over other countries and make dictates and demands for certain things with the anecdote being held out as the carrot for cooperation.

The Pandemic Is a Dress Rehearsal   In this case, "For what?" is the question. Is there something even more sinister and drastic they want to pull on us, in order to achieve some malevolent goal that we would not allow them to achieve if we had a choice in the matter? Is that what's waiting in the wings of this dress rehearsal?

What Lockdown 2.0 Looks Like: Harsher Rules, Deeper Confusion  It's inevitable. We know it's coming. They've been talking about it since before we got out of the first lockdown. Back then it was proposed that there be a 30 day out of lockdown and a 50 day lockdown cycle.  Well we endured 2.5 months of lockdown (at least here in Quebec) and it's about that long since we've been out of lockdown but even though we are having less than 100 new cases a day reported and our curve has long since been flattened, they're talking about a 2nd wave and lockdowns again or at least threatening them.

'We're in for a bad and rocky ride:' Ex-WHO doctor who helped eradicate smallpox predicts COVID-19 turmoil for years  And we have the WHO to thank for that, because they could've averted the whole situation by merely alerting the world to the severity of the epidemic going on in Wuhan and advising everyone to close their borders to all foreigners immediately, before the Chinese gov't even announced the virus to the world.

Red Flags Soar As Big Pharma Will Be Exempt From COVID-19 Vaccine Liability Claims

Pet owners urged to support lonely animals during return-to-work transition after lockdown  This is important because bored pets become destructive and disobedient. If you want your pet to remain obedient and docile you need to provide for your pet's mental and physical well being while no one is home to entertain, exercise, or discipline them.

Early Covid-19 Spread Greater Than Initially Reported, Disease Was Far More Widespread in Wuhan: Study

These Symptoms Could Tell Covid-19 Apart From Flu This Winter  In case you might have a need to know before this winter arrives.

This posting was very short in comparison to most other posts on here, because as I stated above I don't have a lot of free time to spend on the computer these days due to having to take care of food. In this case that involves, baking, preserving (making pickles, jams, relishes, chutneys, etc), dehydrating, and blanching. Which also increases the amount of dirty dishes I have to contend with too.  So it's almost a steady stream of cooking and washing dishes, cooking some more and washing more dishes etc...  Right now I'm facing the dish washing part of the cycle, that I have to take care of. I just wanted to post some of the more important and salient headlines for you to be aware of, until I have time to post more headlines later on.
