Clearing Snow, A Concussion, Long Conversations &.....

Covid19

 Courtesy Pixabay.com

February 3, 2021

The past couple of days have been something to say the least. First we got about 30cms (1ft) or so of snow dropped on us. During the storm our son called and kept me on the phone for a very long time mostly discussing the plandemic and all the surrounding BS.

While the snow was still coming down, one of our incredibly nice neighbours came over with his snowblower and did most of the driveway for us and our front walkway, as it was evident I guess that my husband wasn't planning on doing it then. So now, I'll have to make them a nice crusty French bread baguette as a thank you.

Today, now that it stopped snowing my husband went out to do the snowblowing. Before he even got the snowblower started he basically gave himself a concussion by banging his head into something while trying to get to the snowblower in the garage. He said it hurt for a few minutes and that was it, but while snowblowing he described a near fainting spell to me. He said he heard everything just fine, but everything went all white on him all of a sudden and he couldn't see anything. He thought it was his heart causing the problem and so took a couple shots of his nitro. He recovered rather quickly and resumed snowblowing and then came in for a few minutes for some water.

When I saw him I asked what happened to him and he looked at me like I was some kind of creature from outer space I guess because he didn't realize when he hit himself in the head it caused it to bleed and I could see the blood. Anyhow I cleaned the gash up and it stopped bleeding so left it alone. Then he started complaining about needing to go to sleep and I'm telling him "don't you dare, you have to stay awake until at least after supper now". So he wasn't happy about that but he understood why. Then after resting a bit more he put his coat on again to go back outside and do more snow removal. Which he shouldn't be doing, but if he doesn't do that, he'll go to sleep. So at least that's giving him something to do to stay awake.

So that, along with trying to preserve a little bit of my own sanity, without letting everything get to me, as much as I can, by distracting myself by doing and thinking about other things besides just covid, that's what's been keeping me occupied the last couple of days. I can't wait for March 16th to get here. Then I'll be able to regain my life because up until now, this blog has mostly consumed my life, my time, my sanity and well pretty much taken over everything.

So now on with the dreaded headlines.....

Captain Sir Tom Moore: 'National inspiration' dies with Covid-19 Very very sad, after all the time and energy he put into himself, to try to raise funds to beat it.

‘Next day anxiety’ causing millions of Americans to struggle falling asleep each night My case is the exact opposite. I struggle to stay awake most times. Like I'm doing now. Hopefully I'll win this current struggle, otherwise this post will be delayed.

I don't see why, considering that just because you're already home doesn't mean you're taking it easy especially if you're working from home. Working takes a certain amount of ability, concentration and stamina (that doesn't always just apply to digging ditches, sometimes trying to sit in one place for long periods of time is challenging too and more so when you're plagued with muscle aches and pains). If you aren't able to contend with sitting at your workstation for long periods of time, maintaining focus due to being distracted by aches and pains and maybe fever too and inability to concentrate and think because of brain fog associated either with the medications taken, or a fever and twinges of pain here and there, it could be a challenge to work even from home.

Ontario won't make Feb. 5 goal of vaccinating all LTC, high-risk retirement residents I think by the news that came out over the past few days, that much was obvious.

But by the time it's ready to roll off the lines we should all be vaccinated, according to what everyone's been saying for the last few months.

Calgary researcher hopes to improve ICU visitor restrictions during pandemic I hope they're successful because it's hearbreaking when someone is left to die alone and family can't be there with them, probably for the dying patient as much it is for the family being left behind. I know it still breaks my heart that we weren't alerted to our daughter's condition in time to allow us to get to the hospital to see her before she died. They only informed us after the fact. When the last communication we had with the hospital was the day prior to her death and we were all told including her that she had at least another good 6 months left. That prognosis was for the cancer she had.

South Slave region dog sled race goes ahead, despite COVID-19 Well at least that's something that hasn't been cancelled. It'll provide some fun for the participants at least since I gather spectators are forbidden.

Alberta tech companies blossom during pandemic's economic drought Good. Glad to see they were able to make lemonade out of the lemons life handed them last year!

For something a little different, surrounding this plandemic.

Covid-19: Tanzania has no vaccination plan, minister says Talk about being cavalier.... Wow. It probably has more to do with money than anything else.

That's not a good sign for those of us who've had it already. I hope she's the exception rather than the rule.

Poll finds overwhelming support for new travel restrictions That's because the majority of Cdns have been so dumbed down and doped up on MJ they don't know which end is up half the time. Forbidding people to GO or LEAVE the country, is not going to do anything to cut down on cases (unless the ones leaving are those that have the cases). It's INcoming travellers we want to stop! CLOSE THE BORDERS TO ALL INcomers!!!!! That's how you cut down on cases, by not letting any more cases into the country.

And I'm against the gouging Quarantine Hotels. There's nothing wrong with the way they quarantined people back in the spring at specified hotels and on military bases. I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is using this plandemic to impoverish people while the gov't reaps a ton of money in fines and fees from it.

It's the asinine gov'ts fault this disease is in the Canadian population to begin with, not the people's fault, so it's wrong to constantly keep going after people with ridiculous fines and fees for everything, especially when most of those measures probably contravene our rights under the charter of rights and freedoms in Canada. I personally have had enough of these gestapo pricks across the country who've gotten on their power tripping high horses and just keep looking for more and more ways to punish, fine, confine and isolate everyone (sounds like we're all prisoners in one huge prison called Canada, doesn't it?).

Once upon a time there were quarantines where a whole family was quarantined at home for 40 days, and all the people who the family was in contact with, along with their families. There were district quarantine officers responsible for ensuring they stayed quarantined and providing the services (like grocery delivery for example) needed by those under quarantine. They were the ones fined if they broke quarantine, not Joe Blow who had to be to work by 5am (like lots of people have to be - railroad workers, snow removal crews, golf club grounds maintenance crews, etc...) or Partying Pete who couldn't make it home before midnight. In other words those who weren't sick and hence in no need of being quarantined weren't harassed, ostracized, fined, or otherwise punished, only those who were supposed to be under quarantine because THEY WERE THE INFECTED ONES but went out anyhow.  Then THEY WERE SUBJECT TO HEAVY DUTY PENALTIES DESIGNED TO MAKE THEM THINK 2X BEFORE DOING THE SAME THING AGAIN BEFORE THEIR 40 DAY CONFINEMENT WAS UP.

Now it doesn't matter if you're sick or not, or a carrier of it or not, you're treated like a criminal if you're living a normal life - that involves going to work at all hours of the day or night, enjoying life by going out to bars, cinemas, to see friends, for dinner or whatever. When that's in direct contravention of our charter of rights and freedoms that lays out how quarantines are supposed to work and it's not the way the conniving power hungry, power abusing ash holes in charge have interpreted it.

I seriously wish a constitutional lawyer or 10 would get together and look at all the abrogations of our rights they've done under the constitution and file a massive class action suit against ALL large municipal, provincial and federal governments. Because if this keeps up, they'll declare it to be normal and routine and want to continue this to eternity. Because it's obvious by the way they've implemented these travel restrictions, they have no intentions of keeping the virus and it's strains out of this country, only disrupting Cdns vacation plans and then gouging their eyeballs out upon return via the Quarantine Hotel BS.

So it seems to me they're not interested in protecting us from the virus, in fact, they're leaving the borders open to keep it coming in on a regular basis along with all the new variants and strains while gouging Cdns to death and punishing them for daring to leave the country to enjoy life a bit, after enduring a year of being under the thumbs of power tripping & power abusing banana republic dictators.

Sounds a lot like the Soviet Union and Cuba now doesn't it? Not allowed to leave the country and if you do and it wasn't approved by the "bureau", you'll be sent to the gulag for the next umpteen years or fined a gazillion rubles or whatever money Cuba uses?

This is one prime example out of a few dozen of those in Canada already as to WHY we might want to CLOSE OUR BORDERS TO ALL THOSE COMING TO CANADA FROM THE UK & SOUTH AFRICA AT LEAST, IF NOT TO EVERYONE!!!!! But numbnuts is too f'd in the head to understand such a simple concept it seems. From the poll cited above, so are most Canadians too it seems.

Yeah but as I suspected before, these salons are only opening in the regions, where the largest populations are moose and coyotes. I guess they'll be able to be well coifed while playing chicken with road traffic or chasing down a rabbit for lunch.

It should be 40 days. All of these quarantines should've been 40 days.

Yeah cuz yesterday when that 30cms of snow was falling out of the sky on us, it definitely felt like an early spring for sure. But I do know one thing it felt like ground hog day except for the amount of snow falling on us.

Oh yippie kay yay for those of us who're still alive by then and needs it.

How pandemic lockdowns cleaned the air but resulted in a warmer planet Don't you just love this? When the air is super polluted we're told global warming is going to get us if we don't clean it up. By no attempt of our own really, but due to the pandemic the air does get cleaner and now we're still told global warming is going to get us. You know what I think? I think it has a lot to do with our orbit around the sun and proximity to it and the sun itself - the cycle it's in or not in at any specific time.

Covid-19: Study showing Oxford vaccine slows virus spread 'superb' - Hancock That's good. I mean otherwise a vaccine that doesn't do anything is useless.

Coronavirus: Canada secures deal for 64M low dead space syringes We secured a deal for them, like we did for those 400 gazillion doses of vaccine, too, I suppose? Where we'll only get the 1st 10 of those syringes at the end of the year and then another 20 or so each month thereafter until the end of time?

Hip-hop T-shirt sets off more tensions in China-Canada ties hehehehehe..... Oh boo hoo..... the bullies can cry on my shoulder if they want, while I have a good belly laugh about it. hehehehe....

Where we all already know they won't find anything as it's been scrubbed clean and all the personnel that worked on the virus moved to other labs thousands of miles away from that one.

Oxford vaccine breakthrough 'one step closer to holy grail' and could mean COVID restrictions lifted sooner That's awesome that it's that effective! I hope that we Canadians can get that one too and not just the 2 that are holding us for ransom now.

I'm pretty sure Canada is even worse, lagging behind the Euro economy.

Regional officials rejoice as Quebec loosens COVID-19 restrictions Yup, but only the regions where the trees, moose & coyotes outnumber people by a long shot.

I hope they're wrong!

WHO team probing COVID-19 visits Wuhan lab, meets 'Bat Woman' Quoting the story now: Shi, a well-known virus hunter who has long focused on bat coronaviruses - earning her the nickname "Bat Woman" - was among the first last year to isolate the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. ----- Really????? So then why were Gilead Sciences and the Chinese gov't fighting over the patent rights for redemsivir (remember that? the first known anecdote against the virus) in 2016. So if they could make an anecdote for it, that basically proves this virus was known to the them (Gilead & the Chinese scientists who worked on redemsivir with Gilead Sciences) BEFORE 2016!!!!  So that little fact would put that lie to bed quite nicely about her being the first to isolate it last year. She should be known more as the Batty Woman instead of Bat Woman.

'You're on your own': Sympathy in short supply for snowbirds complaining about new travel rules So says all the jealous people. Bet you 100% of these sanctimonious jerks who said "you're on your own" and have no sympathy for them, would be one of the ones crying the loudest and hardest if they happened to be amongst the ranks of the snowbirds. Canadians are such a bunch of self-righteous sanctimonious hypocrites, it's unreal.

We can't even get 1 million shots done in at least 3.5 months. So multiply that by our population of 37 million and that comes out to, 129.5 months or more precisely, 10.79 years. I probably won't be  be around then if that's the case. So I don't have to worry about what might be in those vaccines as I'll probably never see one.

Gawd, I hope it's not just Ontario that's busy with those lawsuits, I hope people sue their municipal, provincial and Federal gov't's ashes off for all the BS they put us through and the health ash holes - like Tam, Haggydudu, Dube, et. al. along with Mr. Dressup Numbnuts at the helm, all get sued or charged with gross negligence causing genocide. Then Mr. Dressup Numbnuts has other lawsuits thrown at him for treason, the WE charity garbage, SNC Lavallin, the Great Kahn escapade, etc....

British Army starts vaccinating Scots amid row over slow roll-out At least you've got a roll out unlike here in Canada, where it's still just a pie in the sky pipedream of bozo brains in Ottawa.

Good for you. We won't even have 1/10th that many done and we were the 2nd country in the world to start vaccinations, after the UK.

Good so at least they have some hope, assuming they can get an injection before they die, of Covid or anything else like plain old old age, which is likely to be my case.

Apparently the same goes for the kids in QC too.

Why can't QC drivers also get a rebate? After all we're the ones under lockdown the longest in this country hence have done the least amount of driving as a result of that.

Coronavirus: Canada received ‘strong assurances’ from EU leadership on vaccine deliveries, Trudeau says Do you have that in writing Mr. Bozo Brains Numbnuts or was that just crap said on a telephone call that no one except perhaps CSIS could verify?

That's putting it mildly.

That's BS. The only areas where he gradually reopened was in the areas mostly populated by moose and coyotes. In the region where I live he reopened stores. Big whoopdie doo .... Christmas is gone and I don't need anything at any stores that aren't already open, so I don't really care and no one else that I know cares that much about it either.

That's because Canada was left high and dry by our so-called "allies" - with allies like that who needs enemies anyhow? All those other G7 countries are either the US or in the European Union or is the UK - all of whom have their own production facilities and all of whom are using vaccine nationalism to keep their vaccines to themselves despite the fact that Canada paid for a goodly share of them, up front basically before anyone else did, if I understand it correctly! So since our so called good friends and allies have stabbed us in the back over the vaccines we need to get some for our population from somewhere and all the G7 ash hole countries out there sneering at us, would do the same gawd damned thing if the shoe were on the other foot and they f'n well know it!

Now please take note of the following quote from this article and tell me if you think it's fair, considering we paid back in August for a lot of those vaccines and we're a G7 country on top of that.... Quoting the article now:

In response to vaccine distribution delays at Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, and AstraZeneca, the European Union implemented an export control policy on all vaccines produced in EU member countries that require the pharmaceutical companies to get permission before sending vaccines to other nations.

More than 120 countries are exempt from this list, but Canada is not one of them. The spokesperson told CTV News that use of the export control restrictions will be kept to "an absolute minimum."

Do you honestly think it's fair that there's 120 other countries that are exempt but NOT Canada? Especially considering we paid for a lot of the doses long before they were even made and we had a deal back then!?! I mean hello....

For all you moronic Trudeau supporters, don't you think he's made Canada enough of laughingstock and a push over for everyone and everything already? Don't you think it's time we ditched the f'n imbecile and replaced him with someone with a braincell and a backbone? It's articles like this and the one above with the idiotic Cdn public that thinks Mr. Moron Face's travel restrictions are a good idea even though they won't do dick all to keep the disease and it's variants out of the country, that makes it hard to even want to keep up with this sheite until March 16th and not just end it now. Gawd, I'm so sick and tired of this lamebrained sheite, it's a wonder it's not causing me to have high blood pressure or something!

Some Montreal essential workers feel they’re being harassed by police after curfew I wouldn't doubt it, because Ms. Gestapo booties in QC turned all the cops in the province into power tripping ticket happy idiots.

COVID-19 cases falling in U.S., Canada, but still rising in Latam, says PAHO  My husband has a thought on this one.... A timed duration limit to it. Maybe it was preprogrammed to propagate across the globe as much and as fast as it could in a year but after a year it just peters out. It's an idea like any other. If it was made in a lab like many suspect it was, then that's a good possibility. I guess we might find out eventually what's going on and why.

Anywho..... As the Bugs was fond of saying " That's All Folks".... Until next time take care and stay well.

Catching Up to

The Current Coronavirus News

Looks Like It Might Take Awhile

 Courtesy Pixabay.com

June 22, 2020

The way things are going lately, I'll be amazed if I ever catch up with the current day's coronavirus news. You'd think being a senior and being at home 99% of the time, there would be plenty of time to attend to a blog or something of interest like a hobby or something.

Nope. Not in my life, not so far. Things just consistently keep going wrong and causing me never ending work. Murphy's Law  is working on me overtime I think. My mother used to say "there's no rest for the wicked". So I guess that means I must be plenty wicked as I can't seem to catch a break at all.

One thing, I'll say is I don't have time to get bored and time is flying by like crazy. So at least there's that.

Anyhow, as per usual, I'll post what I can and have it published before midnight so that the date on the post is current.

Early research suggests people with Type O blood are slightly less likely to get the coronavirus  I can back up the less likely to develop a severe case if they get it, contention, based on my own experience.

4 dead, 26 hospitalized in Arizona after ingesting tainted hand sanitizer  I guess people have lost their taste for Lysol and nail polish remover, now it's hand sanitizer the new cheap high in town. 'Cept the bottles of hand sanitizer I've bought recently weren't all that cheap - $15 a bottle. You can get some pretty decent wine or even small bottles of the hard stuff for that price even here in Canada. So why are they drinking the stuff there anyhow? Talk about hardcore alcoholics.

Coronavirus: US v other countries... did it mess up its reopening?  The way I see it, is the people there were getting sick of the lockdowns and would've broken them anyhow, if they didn't reopen when they did. Americans don't take kindly to being ordered around by their government, because they are probably the only population on earth that realizes the government is supposed to work for the people and it's the voting taxpaying people who tell the elected government officials what to do and not the other way around.  Like most other populations on earth who believe the people are the pawns of the government and supposed to do the government's bidding instead of it being the opposite, where the government is supposed to do the people's bidding.

Capt Sir Tom Moore knighted in 'unique' ceremony  Remember this guy? He well deserves the knighthood, at least he worked for his and it wasn't bought, like most of the others are. And this is the reason the Queen came out of lockdown as reported earlier. So good for him.

Coronavirus tests: Swabs don't damage the brain and other claims fact-checked  hehehehe That's a good one, "swabs don't damage the brain". Who even thought they would to start with? hehehehe...

Uncounted millions had COVID-19 symptoms, but no positive test  They're finally starting to clue into what I've been saying since the virus was announced by the Chinese gov't in January.

Nurse: Despite coronavirus pandemic, hospital patients need their loved ones at their side  This should've been allowed since the beginning. It was just cruel and heartless to forbid them to be there and in some cases probably downright dangerous as there was no one there to advocate for their loved ones who might've been comatose or on a respirator and sedated much if not all of the time.

How close is Russia to developing a Covid-19 vaccine? Probably pretty close if they're stealing all the formulas of the western vaccine manufacturers, given that they claim they're close themselves.

Inside a factory producing vials for a potential COVID-19 vaccine  For those who are curious about how things are made...

Without Wi-Fi, low-income Latino students resorted to doing homework in parking lots to access public hotspots  Because of all the shutdowns of places like libraries and schools and not having wifi at home, some have had to resort to this.

Active coronavirus cases in Canada plummet as Quebec changes recovery criteria  This should've been done long ago. Why'd they keep those who recovered on the active cases list for so long anyhow?

TikTok video shows Sault teen buying alcohol in LCBO dressed as senior, wearing mask   I guess that's one example of why masks shouldn't be made mandatory....

The risk of catching COVID-19 from contaminated surfaces, objects is ‘negligible,’ scientist says  I think this study was done some time ago and they found that the virus was able to remain active on different surfaces for different periods of time. So what is it? Negligible, or a few hours to a day or more?

Young people living with their parents could receive $11.8 billion from CERB  Yup, sounds like the  Trudeau government, always helping the well off while ignoring those who actually need the help like the seniors and disabled etc....

Bank of Canada exploring digital currency that would replace cash, track how people spend money  I hardly think that most people  would see the "benefits of a digital currency include the sharing of personal information with police or tax authorities". I know I wouldn't. Not that I have all that much money to hide or do much with, just I don't think every Tom, Dick and Harry with a keyboard needs to know my income and spending habits.  I personally wouldn't accept this at all. Allow them to do this, then you might as well have them install video cameras and microphones in your bedrooms and bathrooms too, where all the data goes directly to the police and government departments (probably health and social services and then maybe the census dept, so they can figure out how many people are going to be having babies this year and how many died in bed and do the actuaries in real time). I mean where does it stop? If you allow this, they'll just keep right on encroaching more and more in your lives so it's time you told them where the line is drawn and you won't accept this. I won't and I hope that I don't live long enough to see something like this enacted here in Canada, because then we've really become a police state for sure. And is this why they're trying to crash the economy anyhow, using this pandemic as the opportunity to do it?

J&J in talks with Japan, Gates Foundation over COVID-19 vaccine  And this is another one to be wary of. Anything Gates has his hands in (and so far they seem to be in everything to do with this virus - when I have the time for that article you'll understand this comment) I wouldn't go near with a 10 foot pole as that saying goes.

Coronavirus: Fauci says U.S. currently in a "difficult situation' due to COVID-19 I'd say it's a difficult situation alright. That was pretty much a no brainer. I'd go one further and say they're in the throes of a massive pandemic, as is the rest of the world.

Baby contracts coronavirus in outbreak at Vancouver neonatal ICU  Well that definitely contradicts the contention that kids can't/don't get it. I know they do, because my daughter-in-law who is a nurse at the Montreal Children's had to deal with a baby that had it.

Russia Can’t Afford to Trip Up in the Vaccine Race  Maybe that's why they're busy hacking everyone else's data?

Jamie Oliver's wife Jools reveals she suffered a miscarriage during lockdown   More casualties of the lockdowns around the world.

'They should not be going ashore': U.S. vessels in B.C. waters rattle Vancouver Island boaters  They're not going to be content until the entire North American continent is raging with this virus like they are in the US. They're bound and bent they're going to come up and do whatever they want whether they have the virus or not.

Coronavirus LIVE Updates: Banned Due to Covid-19, US Passenger Flights to India Can Resume from July 23; In a First, World Records 1 Million Cases in 100 Hours I don't know why any country let alone India would allow Americans back into their country right now with the high case & death counts going on in the US right now.

Iran estimates up to 25 million virus cases since outbreak  Well then if that's the case, the WHO's numbers are all off!

Feds order supplies to give two doses of COVID-19 vaccine when its ready By the time it's ready we'll probably have acquired our own immunity the hard way, so they may not need so many doses.

Parisians pull out swimwear, masks and head for sand-free Covid-wise beach  This doesn't look like much fun, but I suppose it's still better than dying of heat stroke.

Coronavirus: Feds expand COVID-19 disability grant to include more groups  Finally some of the disabled people in Canada will be getting something. Though what they're getting and what the seniors got (two of the most vulnerable groups in Canada) in comparison to what most everyone else got, is more or less an insult, rather than any real help.
