Lotsa Food, Lotsa Pain & Lotsa Angst About.....

 Covid 19

July 5, 2021

Here I am again with a new entry in the blog, because that damned virus doesn't seem to know when to quit and just wither, die and go away once and for all.

There have been a lot of things happen in our lives since my last entry here. For one thing we celebrated our daughter-in-law's 32nd birthday with a lasagna and a birthday cake.

That was followed by several days of cooking once again, because of the idiotic freezer. It did the same thing it did last summer, over froze so that the door opened on it and food started thawing up. Fortunately, a lot of that food was able to be used in one dish - a gigantic paella. We literally had just about everything required for that dish thawed up and ready to go except the calamari as we don't have that. But we did have crab's legs which I substituted for the calamari. We literally had the cooked ham, the cooked chicken, the shrimp, mussels, crabs legs and the various veggies required that thawed up. So I cooked some rice and found out what the seasoning consisted of (and fortunately I even had some of that on hand) and tomatoes and made a humungous paella. Enough to feed us and two neighbouring families, plus we still had some leftovers after we finished eating. Not to mention the chicken cacciatore, club sandwiches with some thawed cooked turkey breasts and bbq pork chops (using the rhubarb bbq sauce). Plus I had some rhubarb to take care of and red currants. The rhubarb I used to make like an upside down cake with, several jars of BBQ sauce, rhubarb sauce (like apple sauce), and a rhubarb crisp. The red currants were mostly used to to make a red currant liqueur with some sugar and vodka dumped in atop the muddled currants in a large 1 litre bottle (quick and easy way to use up a lot of them in a hurry). I still have some left over and I want to try to make a BBQ sauce with them - just to have different BBQ sauces on hand for the summertime grilling. It's good I didn't want a garden this summer, because I didn't want to spend a ton of time working with food and wanted to work on some crafts instead. Which I haven't gotten to do yet. We still have chicken wings that I cooked after they thawed up and some pork spare ribs that I also cooked upon thawing, to eat. I think the chicken wings will be bbq wings and the spare ribs will contribute to a homemade Chinese dinner. I had wanted to make southern style fried chicken wings when I bought them, but as I had to cook them as soon as I could, I don't think they'll be good as southern style fried wings, so will have to make do with the bbq wings.

We did get our 2nd dose of Moderna on June 29th and pretty much since then - up until yesterday I guess, I've felt terrible. The afternoon of the shot, I had a colossal case of head fog. If you were to have asked me anything even as simple as my name I'd probably have had to think about it for awhile and even then have been confused as to what it really is. It was terrible. I literally couldn't think straight and as for concentrating even enough to read a simple 1 paragraph article, forget it. By the time I was ready to go to bed my arm started hurting, but it wasn't too bad, but I guess it progressed to really bad while I slept because everytime I moved it, I'd wake up in pain. The next day I was groggy and tired and had barely any appetite and a colossal headache like as if someone hit me on the back of the head with a brick. On Canada Day my husband took me out to dinner, but I was rather queasy and so hardly ate any of my meal and had to bring it home to have later. But I didn't have it later. It wasn't until 2 days later that I had enough of an appetite to even think about it.  Even yesterday I was still sleepy and had a hard time to wake up and stay awake. While my husband had no side effects at all.

Because of our neighbours from hell, we've been looking around for houses in various parts of Canada and are thinking of putting this one up for sale and moving. Maybe if the people who buy this place are richer than Mr. BigWig next door, that'll put a cramp in his style and he'll think twice about messing around with them. Let's hope. Anyhow before we move we'll inform the buyers about what those ash holes are all about and what they did to the tree. So that if the tree gets blown over in a storm onto their house (and since they cut it lopsided where there's less branches on this side but more on their side - the counter balance may be off and affect the stability of the tree in the high winds we get here), that it's their fault to begin with and not to pay them any damages. That the buyers here can maybe try to sue them for the damages they did to the tree which contributed to it's instability and thus falling over in their direction.

But this would be an awesome property for the right person/people. It has access to all amenities you can dream of - considering it's located just off the island of Montreal and near another growing city, with 2 golf courses nearby, a CEGEP 15 minutes away (depending on traffic), a historic provincial park that's wonderful to take the kids to or to have a picnic at on a nice summer's day, right of passage to the water, awesome sunsets (there was a picture of one that I took and posted on this blog sometime ago), on a dead end street with only local traffic - so usually very quiet and secure (for kids). Most neighbours are friendly and kind - with the exception of the ash holes from hell.  Lots of biking and hiking paths around off the road but running parallel to it (so very little danger of being hit by a motor vehicle). A community center, library and marina are all nearby as well. Near a commercial farm where you can "pick your own" (whatever that might be), actually there's also a commercial apple orchard nearby as well where you can also "pick your own". So you have the tranquility of the country side and access to fresh produce when in season, you could even have a garden or two right here on this property and grow plenty of fresh food for your family yourself, along with all the amenities the cities offer.  If you don't destroy the plants, I have several perennial vegetables and fruit growing, from raspberries, grapes and blackberries to rhubarb, onions, asparagus, lettuce, chives, mint, tarragon, kale, mustard, and strawberries. Those grow back every year if you don't disturb the area where they're growing. There's also goji berries and arugula as well. You wouldn't even have to plant those. Just maintain them and harvest them as desired. Fresh free food for the picking. Does this sound like a sales pitch to you? Maybe it does because I'm working through the sales pitch in my mind as I think this is a project we're going to try to handle ourselves with the help of one of those real estate companies that helps the owner sell their property themselves. Of course I wouldn't mention the neighbour from hell, nor all of those perennial plants either. 😉

In the meantime the virus from hell won't let go and keeps on raging as strong or even stronger than ever from the headlines I've been seeing. After reading some of the stories I'm wondering if those days of agony I just finished suffering through after getting my 2nd dose was worth it, considering it seems like the Delta variant doesn't seem to care if you were vaccinated or not, in some cases.

So anyhow.... Getting on with the headlines now.....

I don't blame the Palestinians. I mean what's the point of accepting soon to expire vaccines anyhow? What good is that going to do? It might actually harm them in the way of causing a delay for them getting some fresh vaccines or any vaccines at all, as the international community will say well you got x amount of vaccines from Israel that should be more than enough for the time being and not give them any and instead give some other country that also has none what was going to go to them.

UK virus cases surge even as 8 in 10 have received shots Precisely what I was talking about above.

Thailand Once Shut Out Covid-19 but Is Now Pivoting to Living With It  I'm telling you Gates and that other schmuk Schwab from the WEF along with those from the Wuhan Lab all need to be strung up by their gonads, because this PLANdemic wasn't very well PLANned out in advance. In fact, it's causing everything to go to hell in a handbasket, if you ask me and so as far as I'm concerned all those who are directly and indirectly responsible for it, need to be held accountable.

AP-NORC poll: Many Americans resuming pre-virus activities As long as there's very little possibility of a massive resurgence of the virus via  the Delta variant, why not? If however, there's more than just a slight possibility then I think some of the preventative measures taken earlier needs to be reinstated.

UN warns of worst 'cascade of human rights setbacks in our lifetimes' Really???? Wow!!!! Sure took them long enough to figure that out! I think I along with a few others out there (most of whom were censored and called alarmists and conspiracy theorists) figured that out eons ago, back in March or April 2020 when all the draconian measures first started being implemented. But hey what did we know? We were all just a bunch of fake news alarmists and conspiracy theorists, apparently!

‘Jacket Required’ No More? How the Pandemic Changed Dress Codes  I'm wondering if being desperate for clientele doesn't have more to do with it, than some dress codes does. I mean after suffering over a year's worth of closures or off and on closures, when they get the chance to make some money to pay some of those bills that piled up, dress code or not, they'll take the opportunity to make some much needed money rather than worry about what everyone's wearing or not wearing.

Britain’s longest-known COVID-19 patient dies after 15 months That is so sad. Condolences to his family.

What Quitters Understand About the Job Market Or maybe they also started to realize that there are other aspects of life that are equally important, like family, being able to enjoy life without always being so stressed out from work and other obligations and just wanting to spend more time relaxing and enjoying whatever time they have on this earth rather than always being under pressure to pay bills and work.  A lot of them may have come to the realization that they don't need fancy clothes or cars and outings to feel good - that they can relax and enjoy life with what they have already and not need more than that. Which is how it ought to be and probably was for most of human existance (those who were fortunate enough to have everything they needed to feel comfortable and secure).

Australia struggles to quash persistent coronavirus outbreaks They attribute the outbreaks to the fact that very few people have been vaccinated yet.

Philippines' Duterte threatens vaccine decliners with jail, animal drug OMG.... If he weren't such a freaking nutcase and would do what he threatens here, I'd say this was hilarious, but it's not because he might actually act on his threats and that would NOT be hilarious. It would be atrociouly horrific if he did.

South America Is Now Covid-19 Hot Spot, With Eight Times the World’s Death Rate My friend in Argentina just got her first shot last week, at the behest of her sister. She wasn't going to get one at all, but her sister begged her to. She said she chose the Astra Zeneca one as the only other one they have to choose from is the Sputnick one from Russia and she doesn't trust it.

44% of Americans hit ‘lowest emotional point’ of their lives during pandemic I can certainly understand. Especially those who may have lost loved ones to the pandemic and had no way to say their final goodbyes before the loved one died. Or those who may have been young and alone (young adult) and had to self isolate or quarantine with the illness and after having had years of growing up with a family to rely on suddenly finding themselves alone with no one to help them or help them cope, I can understand. Or even the elderly who basically figured they'd be better off dead than enduring endless days, weeks and months worth of solitude and loneliness and wondered what the point of living was, if they couldn't see anyone or go anywhere or do anything. So I can imagine there were great numbers of people who were "down".

Israel faces Covid surge as virus circulates even among vaccinated This is what I'm afraid of. Of being hit with the stupid variant even though I got both shots.

A scientist says he's found 13 Wuhan coronavirus sequences that were deleted from a US database - and claims they're a 'goldmine' for research into the virus' origins Hmmmmm curiouser and curiouser..... Wondering why they were deleted. Maybe because they were afraid they'd also link maybe Gilead Sciences or perhaps Fort Detrick to it too? Just wondering..... I mean if it all pointed to Wuhan and China you wouldn't think they'd delete it now would you? They'd only delete it probably if it could point back to an American party (company or military maybe) and make them look complicit in some way, wouldn't you think?

Pooling society's collective intelligence helped fight COVID – it must help fight future crises too Oh that sounds wonderful! And will probably work for the first couple of years until it's deemed either too costly or cumbersome to manage and then is abandonned. Which is usually what happens with collaborative efforts like this.

Israel says the Delta variant is infecting vaccinated people, representing as many as 50% of new cases. But they're less severe. Phew, they are saying that 2 doses of vaccine appears to be protective against it, but that no vaccines are 100% protective against it.

Nearly 5 out of 6 coronavirus cases were undetected in pandemic's early months That's because they didn't know about it and what they were looking for and a lot of them were being chalked up as being "the flu". I know because I had it in the first weeks of January 2020, but I didn't know what I had and it's only my nursing knowledge that probably saved me from winding up in a hospital on a ventilator, because I knew how to evacuate the fluid that was accumulating in my lungs via coughing and expectorants and how to lie in bed, so my lungs didn't fill with fluid while I slept.  It was only later on when I read a description of the symptoms (from a Chinese news report released early on where a doctor described everything to do with it), that I recognized my symptoms and what they called "wet lung" and realized I'd had it. But as I was never allowed to have an antibody test, I don't know for sure if I did or not, but if I had to bet on it, I'd say I did. Meanwhile everyone was thinking "oh it's not even here yet, so we don't have to worry about it". But there's been articles and reports proving that it was here - it was here in Quebec for sure in December 2019, so it's no stretch of the imagination to realize that if it was here in QC then, it was probably much wider spread across North America then too.

Habitat for Humanity struggles with high construction costs amid COVID-19 pandemic We've been hearing that a lot of construction material is 2 & 3 times it's normal cost and some just can't be had for love nor money due to shortages and backlogs.

US saw biggest drop in life expectancy since WWII due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic I'm sure it's not just the case in the US, but elsewhere as well.

The family of an unvaccinated woman who died from COVID-19 say they still refuse to get the jab, report says That may be due to the fact that they know what her underlying conditions (if any) were and feel that since they don't suffer from those conditions that they aren't at as much risk as she was.

China says no strings attached to vaccine shipments overseas They can't even give their sheite away now it seems. No wonder, no one wants them, as they don't work. They're probably nothing more than the polluted Yangzte River water in those phials that they're trying to pass off as vaccine anyhow. It wouldn't surprise me any. They're nothing but 2 faced lying crooks, hostage takers, murderers and dictators anyhow.

They Relied on Chinese Vaccines. Now They're Battling Outbreaks. Just goes to prove what I just finished saying above.

States hesitant to adopt digital COVID vaccine verification I don't know why it has to be digital anyhow. We simply have a piece of paper that was filled in when we got our shots with the name of the vaccine and the date given and by who, that we keep in our wallets. I know the QC gov't said they were issuing a QR code we could download as proof of our shots, but if you don't have or use a cellphone, what then?

During Covid-19, Most Americans Got Ahead—Especially the Rich Really? Wondering if it's the same for rich Canadians too?

Police rescue spooked nude sunbathers from Australian forest hehehehe.... One of the funnier plandemic stories and yup the cop's description of them was bang on!

COVID-19: all of Quebec heads to zone green as of Monday But we still have to wear masks in establishments, and socially distance at cash registers etc...

Why feeling bad after your second COVID-19 vaccine dose may be a good sign Then I ought to be super protected according to this.

COVID-19: Manitoba offers wage subsidy to encourage hiring vaccinated employees So now rather than qualifications, hiring criteria is going to be based on whether someone is vaccinated or not? That's almost as bad as the race and gender based hiring qualifications of days gone by. No wonder we have such a bunch of pathetic idiots masquerading as professionals these days, when all it takes is being a certain gender, race, or now if you have a vaccination or not, to get the job, regardless of skills and qualifications. It's not as though I'm a man saying this because I'm not. I'm a woman, but I'm a woman who's been subjected to the care of physicians who clearly only qualified for the position they held due to their race, or gender and the crackerjack box diploma they held and nothing more. I question whether some of them even had the knowledge and skills to apply a bandaid to scraped knees. Even as a nurse I was able to diagnose and treat myself better than what half those quacks were able to do. I would've made a better doctor than 90% of the idiots I've seen in white coats strutting around the halls of hospitals pretending to play doctor. And I'm sorry but if you can't clearly communicate your diagnosis, prognosises and recommendations to me in 1 of the 2 official languages so that it's well understood by the patient then you have no business holding a license to practice medicine in this country. One of the most vital aspects of practicing medicine is being able to clearly articulate everything to the patient in a way that's thoroughly and completely understood by them, so that they can follow doctors orders as prescribed. If they can't even understand what the mouthful of marbles is trying to articulate how do you want them to be able to follow doctor's orders anyhow?

Spread of delta variant prompts new restrictions worldwide  The variant from hell doesn't know when to quit.

Almost half of Aussie population under lockdown Wow.... Maybe they should start getting the population there, vaccinated, so they wouldn't have to be under lockdown like that.

Health Canada adds warning of very rare, serious condition as potential side-effect If you had an Astra Zeneca or Covishield vaccine you should read this.

Canadian COVID-19 death toll far exceeds official reports, according to analysis So we're going to do like the US did now? Count every single case that could even remotely be linked to covid whether it was the cause of death or not? Like because your uncle died in a motorcycle accident but he knew someone who had covid his death is now going to be covid related and not a motorcycle accident? Is that because the 20 thousand odd cases aren't high enough and so it makes it look no worse than a bad flu? But wouldn't really be a bad flu if all flues lasted as long as this virus has? I mean a flu that takes 5,000 lives in a flu season which maybe lasts 3-4 months, extend that by 5 (15-20 months - which is where we are now)  and we get roughly the same number of deaths from the flu as we do from covid19. So roughly the same amount of deaths for the same duration of time. Ergo no worse than a regular flu. So is that suddenly why we're saying that the death toll far exceeds official reports now? Because the official reported numbers aren't bad enough to make all those draconian measures seem worth it? Is that it?

COVID-19 in Quebec: What you need to know on Wednesday Yup, well we definitely got our 2nd shot of Moderna alright and I felt it for days afterwards. I can tell you that.

COVID-19 changes the structure of blood cells, may explain ‘long hauler’ symptoms If that's the case, wouldn't everyone who's had covid19 be long haulers then?

Border security and quarantines need to be common practice to prevent future pandemics, study warns Really????? Ya think???? What ever gave you that idea anyhow??? And why'd it take you so freaking long to clue in anyhow???? Like I said, certain "qualifications" rather than actual education and skills being the qualifications needed to get certain jobs is why we're in this idiot prone predicament to start with. I mean um f'n duh, this should've been a no brainer from the get go, but instead we're 19 months into this f'n plandemic and they've only just figured this out now??????

As a return to ‘normal’ seems achievable, adjustment disorders are the new elephant in the room It shouldn't be that hard to readjust to normalcy. It should basically be as easy and natural as breathing fresh air is.

Local officials sound the alarm over another possible wave of Covid-19 infections Of course.... This plandemic is even longer lived than the Engergizer Bunny.

'There's some anxiety': Alberta health minister and family swarmed on Canada Day This is another "health minister" that has no business being a health minister because he's a lawyer and has no medical knowledge about anything let alone how to handle a plandemic. So if he's like the infamous genocidal beitche art teacher we have as our Cdn health minister and our Gestapo accountant health minister here in QC, then I have no sympathy for him. If you have no clue about what you're doing then you have no right to be doing it. Period. It's like as if I as a nurse decided to practice law and pass precedences that regulated the whole province or country just because. He as a lawyer would find all kinds of faults with that and all kinds of ways of overturning it and declaring me an incompetant ash hole that ought to be tried for falsely practicing law without a license. Well same could be said about him and all the other ash holes who have no business regulating medical laws especially about pandemics and infectious disease controls.

J&J says vaccine works against delta variant; WHO pushes Western nations to accept travelers with Chinese vaccines: Today's COVID-19 updates And why the F should we listen to the WHO on this anyhow? Especially when it was them who pushed us to allow Chinese people into our countries even when they knew there was a very serious epidemic going on in Wuhan at the time!?! Now they want us to allow people who essentially have no immunity to the disease into our countries??? I mean that's basically what they are, if they've only been inoculated with the Chinese vaccines. Why the F should we? It's our country and our tax dollars paying for the health care of all these sick people NOT THE WHO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Experts question if WHO should lead pandemic origins probe No because they seem to be biased liars who'd do anything to protect China from any repercussions to do with this. Probably because they've been adequately and handsomely bribed by China to try to stymy all investigations into it and muddy all findings so as to obscure the origins as much as possible.

Boris Johnson conducting mass COVID experiment on young people, top scientist warns The entire population of the earth has been guinea pigs for the COVID experiment being run by the NWO and the elite.

As Biden prepares to host 1,000 for Independence Day, desire to declare victory collides with need for caution I don't know but after seeing what happened in Israel I think it's still really early to declare victory over the plandemic considering that the vaccines aren't stopping the delta variant very much.

Lab leak theory, once 'political dynamite,' gains credibility in new study I personally don't see how they can come to any other conclusion than that.

CBO sees supercharged recovery as pandemic dissipates, predicts severe inflation in coming months  I was in a grocery store today and I can tell you there's already severe inflation in the grocery business.

WHO warns that coronavirus variants are spreading faster than vaccines can stop them Of course, this plandemic has to last much longer as all the plans and pieces aren't in place yet.

Oakland Zoo starts vaccinating animals against COVID Wondering when our pets vets are going to start calling us in to give our pets their shots too?

Israel data 'preliminary signal' Delta variant can bypass vaccine: expert If I had've known this last week and what the 2nd shot was going to do to me, I wouldn't have gotten it, as it would've been more trouble than it seems like it'll be worth.

Thousands in India Involved in Alleged COVID Scam, Injected with Salt Water Instead of Vaccine: Reports  Trying for the placebo effect or just plain outright fraud? My money's on outright fraud.

That's about it for this installment. Who knows when or if I'll make another one? In any case, stay safe and take care.

Giving It Another Go at Trying to Get This Done Soon.....

 Covid19

Courtesy Pixabay.com

Oct 29, 2020

Wow! Only 2 days to go and I know right now I'm NOT going to get this done on time! The reason I know that is because I won't have the time because we have to go out hunting for an affordable new toilet and then someone's coming to install it on the 31st, I think. So that's going to drastically cut into the time I have to devote to getting this done.

I still have hundreds of headlines to go and I'm sure between now and Oct 31st, there'll be a few hundred more headlines too as it just never ends. It's constant. To quote Trump, "Covid, Covid, Covid, Constant Covid in the news". So he was right about that even if everyone thinks he wasn't right about much else.

So I'm going to give it my best shot to get as many headlines in here tonight as possible, but be forewarned, I've been nodding off, off and on all day long so that's apt to be the case while I try to work on this. So that may drastically cut into the time I have to do this, and thus cut down on the amount of articles I can get posted before I nod off for my 8 hours of sleep. I don't know what's wrong me because it's only the last few weeks I've been like this. Most of my life I've been an insomniac, now I struggle to stay awake for any length of time. It's awful.

So I'm going to be getting started now, so grab your glasses, beverage of choice and easy chair and start reading...

Vancouver Christmas Market cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic  Of course. Just wondering when they're going to cancel life altogether.

The Cdn gov't site on border measures being taken in regards to the virus along with immigration, refugees, family abroad, etc... If you want/need any official information on those subjects directly from the government itself, this is where you go.

Coronavirus: Levels of anxiety and depression rising among Canadians during pandemic In my case it's not anxiety & depression that's getting to me, it's pure unbridled anger and hatred of the governments and all their sycophants in the medical establishment and media that let them get away with this charade and continue to support them in the efforts in it. Now don't misinterpret what I'm saying here. I'm not saying that Coronavirus isn't real and infecting people and killing some, what I'm saying is the way it was handled from the get go was all wrong and anyone who attended med school or even nursing school for a half hour KNOWS THAT and KNEW THAT IN ORDER TO PREVENT A VIRUS FROM SPREADING YOU SEGREGATE YOUR SOCIETY FROM IT.  In other words you  PREVENT IT FROM GETTING INTO YOUR COUNTRY IN THE FIRST PLACE BY CLOSING ALL BORDERS THE MOMENT YOU HEAR ABOUT IT IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.  So the moment they heard about it in Wuhan, knowing that we have a lot of people who travel to and from China on a regular basis, hurt feelings on behalf of the Chinese community or not, it was IMPERATIVE THAT WE CLOSE ALL BORDERS AND STOP ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC COMING INTO THIS COUNTRY FROM ANYWHERE.  Because air travel allows viruses to spread so rapidly around the globe and not knowing where a person has been before they came to Canada or who they rubbed shoulders with along the way, was enough cause to close the border down completely BACK ON JANUARY 21st WHEN WE FIRST OFFICIALLY HEARD ABOUT THIS DISEASE IN WUHAN.  NEVERMIND WAITING FOR THE CORRUPT BRAINDEAD IMBECILES IN THE WHO TO DIRECT ANYTHING. When that wasn't done, then what should've been done and is outlined in our constitution on how to handle pandemics should've been followed to the T, because THAT IS THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT. You isolate the sick and their contacts, for the full 40 days. So you remove them totally from the population and so technically if they were the only ones who got into Canada with that disease they and their contacts won't be spreading it hither and yon. And you set up quarantine officers to check on them (like they're finally only starting to do now with the cops checking on them - but that should've been done in the very very beginning). Anyone else you find with it you do the same with them and their contacts. But you let everyone else go about their daily lives. Then to cut down on the risk "in case" you didn't catch/find them all, you make the rest of the population wear masks. Nevermind this BS hand washing BS. It's a respiratory illness that spreads via droplets and aerosols in the air that you breath in, that's the main way it's contracted. Sticking your hands in your mouth after touching a contaminated surface might do it too, but honestly how many adults goes around sticking their hands in their mouths for no reason all the time? We're not 2 year olds who constantly have our hands or fingers in our mouths. All the doctors and nurses in Canada KNEW THIS and if they didn't then they have NO BUSINESS HOLDING A LICENSE TO PRACTICE MEDICINE OR NURSING. NONE.  ZILCH. ZERO. As there's NO EXCUSE FOR NOT KNOWING THOSE PROCEDURES. I mean how the F do you ISOLATE CONTAGIOUS PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL WARDS IF YOU DON'T KNOW THOSE SIMPLE CONCEPTS?????? So for them to sit idly by and let this happen, means they should all lose their licenses. Either that or put up and shut up, since you bunch of idiots did this to yourselves (I'm talking about the exhaustion and over work etc...). And for the media - well they don't know which way is up to start with so we can't expect miracles out of them. But they should say "Whoa" what's going on here when they find little nuggets out like the one Arruda dropped tonight on the news admitting that the Coronavirus deaths might be inflated, because if there was a death that they think could be related to the disease but aren't entirely sure it is, like in the example he gave about someone having Cancer and dying but also had Covid, that person's death will be listed as a Covid caused death and not by Cancer.  So they're using the same tricks here in Quebec (probably right across Canada) as they use in the US, where just about all deaths are deemed to be Covid related, because the CDC issued directives to the hospitals to label them all COVID caused in order to cut down on time doing autopsies. There's a link to that 7 page CDC document, somewhere amongst all the links on all the pages in my blog. I'm not sure now if I put a label to it or what it would be called if I did. So if you want to find it, comb through the labels on the right hand side and see if you can find anything that might look like it in there and click on that to get taken to that page, or failing that do the good old fashion detective work of combing through all the pages until you find it. That's all I can suggest if you really want to find it.  I mean you'd think the media would go "oh yeah, that's interesting" I wonder what else it is that they're hiding or doing crookedly that they're not telling us and start investigating rather than sitting on their lazy stupid ashes swallowing whatever BS the gov't tells them hook, line and sinker. Once upon a time being a journalist meant you were also an investigator of sorts, now a days it's just an idiot with a microphone and tape recorder recording whatever the other idiot is telling them and then copying it verbatim onto a worksheet for print or broadcast. No investigating involved. I doubt any of them would know how, these days.

Canadians will pay the bill for COVID-19 in higher taxes — here’s how it will likely happen Oh I can't wait! We're already taxed to the eyeballs here in QC, so um yeah just add 'em on.... Pretty soon we'll be drowning in them with no hope of ever paying. That's when the gov't will confiscate all property (like they did in the USSR) and proclaim it all belongs to the government and we all work for them now for mere subsistance salaries. That's what it seems like this is all working towards.

Canada ‘desperately’ needs people to dig in, stay home in coronavirus fight: Qualtrough Actually we desperately need leaders who knows what they're doing and how to handle the situation and to be advised by REAL DOCTORS & N O T WITCH DOCTORS (Tam), ART TEACHERS (Hajdu) & PENCIL NECKED ACCOUNTANTS (Dube), WHO KNOWS DIDDLY SQUAT ABOUT MEDICINE & INFECTIOUS DISEASES!!!! AND I N V E S T I G A T I V E JOURNALISTS WHO WANT TO PUBLISH THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON AND NOT JUST TOW THE MAINSTREAM BS LINE!!!!! We need people who will stand up for truth and justice and who will do the right thing by the people & NOT JUST THE MONEYMAKERS!!!! That's what we need the most. Not more lies, massaged data, manipulated numbers, and paranoid propaganda put out by the governments!

Ontario doctor says he was told to expect fewer flu vaccines in this, the year of COVID-19 We were contacted the other day by our pharmacist offering us the flue shot, but I didn't know at the time my husband wanted one, so I declined. Then I found out last night he wanted one if he could get it and so I called her today to try to get one for us, but now she's not sure she will have enough. So I told her if she has at least 1 shot left to give it to him. She said she'll get back to us and I thought she would by the end of the day before she closed, but we didn't hear anything from her.

23 workers test positive for COVID-19 at food distribution centre in Delta, B.C.  So obviously this is a super spreader event, that is NOT a social gathering of any kind, but rather a work place. It's about time that the authorities started recognizing that a lot of work places are equally capable of being super spreaders and not just bars, restaurants and family gatherings. The reason they don't do that though is because they don't want their precious economy to falter and fall apart if the workers all suddenly deem it too dangerous to go to work and decides to stay home instead.

Could that be due to a high fever perhaps? Fevers can induce hallucinations. So maybe that's what's happening here too?

CDC revises coronavirus guidance to acknowledge that it spreads through airborne transmission Look the mere fact that it is a coronavirus means it spreads through air, so how come it took the CDC 10 f'n months to figure that out and admit it????? I'm sorry but I'm beyond aggravated with the criminal negligence and stupidity emanating from that criminal organization called the CDC.

The Post-Pandemic 'New Normal' Looks Awfully Authoritarian Nevermind post pandemic. It looks awful authoritarian now.

So keep taking your medications regularly.

‘Babies are doing well’: Infants born to moms with COVID have few complications That's good to know. Let's just hope they don't have hidden latent problems that show up years later, instead of immediately at birth.

Well of course it can spread indoors. If there's air, it can spread, doesn't matter whether it's indoors or outdoors. It's even in some lakes, so maybe it can spread via water too, for all we know.

It's good to see a company show some compassion & decency in this  time of pandemic.

Ottawa has been Canada's hottest market for new home prices during COVID-19 I seriously can't understand why anyone would want to live in Ottawa unless they had to (as in their job is there like in parliament for instance).

Haven't we all eaten a lot over this pandemic? Everyone I know has, so you're not alone Adam.

There was a chart posted on the net somewhere that I printed out and posted on our fridge. It outlined the differences between the flu, a cold & coronavirus. That was the only place I could think to put it where we'd both see it and be able to consult it immediately, without searching the computer files or around the house for the printout of it.

Cargo carriers warn that getting a COVID-19 vaccine to everyone on Earth could take up to two years I'm sure there'd be some places where it would be locally produced and could be moved by ground carriers to the local population.

Well I guess I'll end it here for now.... Until next time take care & stay well.

Wonky Weekend &

Catching Up on Covid Coverage

Courtesy Pixabay.com
Sept 14, 2020

Hi again! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was good but a little messed up, well okay a lot messed up. There you happy now, my family?

It started off by staying up too late on Friday night, knowing the kids were coming over for pizza on the BBQ and to help their father remove the air conditioners and put them away. So I knew in advance, they'd be here a little earlier than usual than when they just come for supper.  Despite that I managed to sleep in almost until it was time for them to arrive (past my usual wake up time). Then because you never know what they'll have in mind to do after supper, (watch movies on Netflix, or Crave, play board or card games or just talk) I took 2 pills to keep me awake so I wouldn't fall asleep on the couch while watching movies (if that's what we were going to do). Now caffeine affects me in a big way. I can have a half a cup of coffee after I get up and that's more than good for the day usually, so 2 Wake Up pills ought to keep me awake, hopefully.

On top of that I promised them pizzas done on the BBQ and so made 2 which were cooked on the BBQ. There was nothing wrong with their doneness or the pizzas themselves, except dear gawd, we almost needed one of my husbands chisels from his toolbox to get the pizzas off the pizza stones when we went to serve them. Oh my gawd, talk about an icky looking mess - pizza hash is all I could think when I saw how it looked in everyone's plates. Fortunately they're all adults so they there was no "euuuu that looks gross mommy, I'm not eating that" - which I was even half expecting even though they're adults now, because it did look gross. At least they knew that it would taste like pizza and fill them up like pizza so there weren't any comments from the peanut galleries.

We had an awesome time, playing cards and talking and laughing after dinner and then we had some watermelon before they left, which was about 9:30 or 9:45 (she had to get up to be at the hospital for 6am in the morning so they needed to get home so she could get some sleep).  My husband was tired too, so he went to have nap and me, remember me? And my 2 wake up pills?

Well it was like someone put toothpicks under my eyelids to hold them as wide open as they could get. Gawd, I felt like Roger Rabbit bouncing off the walls. There was no way I could sleep, so I got into all kinds of things from computer games to movies on TV and reading news stories on the net and you freaking well name it.  My husband came sauntering down the stairs around midnight and asked me why I was still up and if I had a nap too and I told him  no and I couldn't sleep, so he suggested we watch some of the Netflix shows we sometimes watch together. By the time we finished watching those he sauntered back to bed and that left me alone to unwind, so I decided to play a few more computer games and lost track of time. The next time I glanced at the computer clock in the corner of the screen it was already 5:30am. I still didn't feel tired, but Yikes! It's time to hit the sack no matter how I feel. So I did.  It took a while and a lot of tossing and turning but I finally fell asleep.

It seemed like I just fell asleep and my husband said "your coffee's ready, it's time to get up", so I dragged myself out of bed and went and sat down to drink my coffee and promptly fell back asleep there. So he told me, nevermind just go have a nap. So I did or that's what I intended to do anyhow, but he woke me up only 10 minutes before suppertime.  He made supper and we ate and then I loaded the dishwasher and then went back to bed again. So um yeah, remind me to take 2 wake up pills together again. Okay?

Today after I woke up, I had to get outside and harvest whatever I thought wouldn't survive the predicted frost risk for tonight. Which is a shame because if we had a longer warmer growing season than we had this year, I'd have had tons of tomatoes, as I have tons of green tomatoes that I'll have to find a recipe to use  them in. There was a huge bunch of rhubarb that I harvested too. Way more than I ever got in any past harvests, so maybe with any luck I'll have enough for a pie or jam. Anyhow going to cut that up and freeze it tomorrow for future use. Got too many other things to work with at the moment, like the mint and winter spinach (aka morning glory) and some other veggies to blanch.

Besides that there's the neverending COVID19 news going on out there and here's some of the headlines from that:

COVID-19 cases surge at colleges, schools  I think that was to be expected.

Depression, Anxiety Spike Amid Outbreak And Turbulent Times  Like I said before, for the most part, as everyday is exactly the same with nothing to look forward to and nowheres to go, it begs to wonder why we even get out of bed in the mornings now. What's there to do, and where is there to go? Nothing and nowhere is the answer to that question. Then you wonder wy people are depressed and anxious?

U.N. warns of Libya arms build-up and virus surge  Another concern coupled with COVID....

What the classroom will look like this fall  There's an interesting picture there showing what should normally be a safe way to segregate kids in close proximity. Except we know kids. Most of them are up and down like a bunch of jack rabbits. They can't sit in their seats for 2 minutes straight and have to go around the see through dividers to see up close and personal like, what the kid next to them is doing. Most kids are rambunctious and like to move around and want to see things up close  and not through some plexiglass.  So as long as the teachers are able to make them sit still and stay in their seats things should be fine, but there's always one live wire in a classroom who just won't be able to, so that'll be fun there.

New Brunswick back-to-school plan: class bubbles and singing softly   What's the point of "singing softly"? Why not just cancel all singing altogether if that's the case? Yes, I'm aware of the spittle being sprayed in the air when singing or talking loudly, but forgive me for this, when I was in school we kids didn't stand and sing facing each other. Normally we were either side by side as in a play or chorus, or standing at our desks for the national anthem and God Shave the Queen etc... (ooops meant God Save the Queen).  (You can maybe tell by that remark I'm not a die hard loyalist). I'm sure kids won't mind missing singing those 2 songs in the morning. If they even do still.

That lying cretin that fell down on the job so badly she should not only be fired but thrown in jail for mass genocide, should be the one with the high vaccine use. We should stab the genocidal maniac with every vaccine there is even the ones that have bad side effects or just plain don't work.  Use her as our national guinea pig.

P.E.I. tent sale could help vendors struck by COVID-19 clear out excess inventory   Liquidators to the rescue for overstocked businesses in PEI.

Auto sales recovery plateaus in August, with fewer sales than last summer  I'm amazed they sold any cars considering there's almost no place to go as a lot of people work from home still, most provinces are closed to outsiders and there's just generally nowhere to go  really.

Police calls for domestic violence, mental crises rise during pandemic  This is what I don't get and never did get.... A mental crisis is a health related issue, so why are they calling the cops when they should be calling first responders like paramedics who can then call the cops if they need help subduing the person in question.  But if paramedics or ambulance attendants are on the scene first it'll be way less likely that a cop with respond to the incident using a weapon like a firearm or tazar.  So why don't the people who are calling the cops stop and think for a second or two and judge whether it's a medical emergency or a crime that's happening and depending on what their judgement says call the appropriate people to handle the appropriate situation. Or if everything goes through 911, don't just say "send someone because ...." say "send paramedics or an ambulance because...." . That way it's on record that you asked for the appropriate parties to deal with the situation and didn't just ask for anyone to come (which could be cops like it could be fire fighters too - as it's all routed through 911). So learn to ask for the appropriate personnel. That might alleviate some of the problem the rest has to be alleviated by requiring all cops in Canada to have higher IQs than 2 and to be able to logically reason things out on their own. And if they can't and still decide to shoot someone in mental distress, they should have their badge stripped from them and be held on murder or attempted murder charges like anyone else would be.

Ford approval soars as COVID-19 pandemic drags on  I think all of Canada owes him and Legault a debt of gratitude. If it weren't for those 2, Mr. Dress Up in Ottawa would still be staggering around in his MJ induced stupor he probably lives in now that it's legal, wondering what all the fuss was about. Ford was the first to take any action in Canada to protect his citizens (namely the kids by suspending school for x amount of time - but he was the 1st to do so) and then Legault took further action here in Quebec and only by the end of that week did bozo brains in Ottawa along with the rest of the provincial premiers decide to do anything.  He & Legault seem to be the only ones with any brains and courage to try to protect their populations.  Because it's definitely NOT our NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER aka Tam, NOR our FEDERAL HEALTH MINISTER aka the kindergarten art teacher that thinks she qualifies as a Health minister or a health anything for that matter aka Hajdu, NOR our PRIME MINISTER WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING HIS CITIZENS FROM EVERYTHING & EVERYONE but didn't do anything, aka Trudeau or as I like to call him numbnuts, Mr. Dressup, bozo brains, etc....

Health Canada reverses course, will review applications for COVID-19 home tests  They could've done this ages ago when all the other counties were getting them and using them! Especially since some of those tests are Canadian made and distributed, so they would've been easy to acquire and we could've had them in consumers hands way back when.... But noooooooo..... This government is intent on stymying our recovery from this virus and I can only wonder why.....

Coronavirus: New COVID-19 cases reported at some businesses in Toronto malls  Until the virus goes away or is eradicated through whatever means, this is going to continue to happen, all over the place, that's just the nature of the beast.

A 10th of American households say they haven't had enough food during the pandemic  This is just sad for 1/10th of the citizens of one of the richest countries in the world to have gone hungry during the pandemic. There's no excuse for that, except greed on the part of those that have and could help but refuse to.  Think about this for a moment dear fellow Canadians.... Their population is 331 million and ours is 37.5 million. So 1/10th of 331 million is 33 million - equal to almost our entire population. Can you imagine almost all of Canada going hungry during the pandemic, because that's what it equates to! That's just very sad.

Rules of the Road: 8 Tips for a Better Road Trip During COVID  I don't think too many of here in Canada will be taking too many more road trips this year, given the weather and how cold it's getting all of a sudden.

How Covid-19 myths are merging with the QAnon conspiracy theory   You know I don't even know who/what QAnon is, but given that they're being mentionned here there and everywhere lately, I might have to investigate.

Coronavirus in South Africa: Scientists explore surprise theory for low death rate  Probably due to high vitamin D in their system (it is the sunshine vitamin and I can suppose that someone with black skin absorbs a lot of sunlight - ergo more vitamin D than white folks in similar circumstances).  Are they outside in the sun more than blacks in North America? I mean do they live a large part of their lives outside, as in working, playing and relaxing outside as opposed to blacks in the North America who probably only spend a small portion of their time outside compared to their counterparts in South Africa? I mean the climate between the 2 places is much different, one more conducive to spending time inside and the other probably more conducive to spending as much time outside as possible, in warm dry weather.

Nancy Pelosi calls rule-flouting salon visit a 'setup'  OMG.... If it were Trump saying things like that can't you just hear the remarks that woman would be making now? I can and none of them would be very nice so why does she think that people ought to give her a pass on this because we know she wouldn't be giving Trump one.

Coronavirus live updates: CDC tells officials to be ready for vaccine by November; steroids can help severely ill patients   I hope they're right and their vaccine is ready for then. Whether there's an election or not, having a vaccine ready to help save lives rather than waiting until everyone's already had the virus and lived or died on their steam, is good.

How do I sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine trial? What you need to know  There are no trials going on in Canada at the moment, so unfortunately for us, this is only in the US.

Novavax coronavirus vaccine is safe, published results show  Great! So now, when do you plan on going into production with it?

Left behind because of Covid-19, a tiny dog travels 10,000 miles to rejoin her owners  Because this "tiny dog" looks like our "tiny dog", I couldn't resist reading this story, which left me teary-eyed in the end. She's lucky she fell into the hands of decent, honest, caring people all the way along in her journey. It would've been so easy for anyone along the way to have kept her for themselves, mistreated her, abandonned her, or any number of other things that can happen to defenseless pups like her.

COVID ventilator patients at risk of permanent nerve damage: ‘Shocking how big a problem it is’   I do have an open letter from a nurse that I copied and pasted into a blog post on here talking about how bad it is to go on a ventilator and to not allow anyone you love to go on one either, if you're the one advocating for them.  I'm not sure of the label in the right margin, but if you scan down it, you're apt to find it and it should be clearly labelled. If you can find that label I urge you to click on it and read it once you're taken to the story in question.

Was COVID in Los Angeles last year? UCLA scientists suggest ‘undetected’ outbreak  Well we know according to the pharmacists association of Quebec's newsletter that it was here in Quebec around the time of the holidays last year.

Herd immunity to coronavirus may have been reached in New York, California, scientist claims  Here too probably, but we'll never know because Trudeau figures we're all just a bunch of mushrooms to be kept in the dark and fed a lot of manure on a daily basis.

Coronavirus kindness: Americans genuinely more concerned for others during pandemic  If that's true why are agriculturalists (farmers, ranchers etc...) dumping, and bulldozing their crops and livestock and why are landlords kicking delinquent tenants out of their buildings?

Remote regrets: Most telecommuting Americans working longer hours, more stressed  Of course I saw this coming, especially after listening to the cellphone and email debates, where employees were expected to pick up their cellphone no matter the hour of day or night and keep on top of their email even if it meant staying up all night at home everynight in order to do it (especially those people who deal with a  high volume of email). It seems that when an employer figures they can take an advantage of a situation they will, until or unless clear and concise boundaries are set, like had to be set for those employees dealing with email or neverending phone calls.

Pope Francis Warns ‘Creation Is Groaning!’ in New Eco-Message  He's asking for the debts of the poorest countries to be forgiven and I do believe with the "Great Reset" that they have planned that's what will happen. That the poorest countries debts will be forgiven while the richer countries will all be expected to cough their payments up. So that the poorer countries economic levels are brought up, while ours are brought now. I'm not saying ours will be lowered to their level (though with the way they've jerry rigged this whole plandemic who knows for sure?) but we'll both be a bit more equal, so that when the digital currency is assigned it'll basically be worth the same thing for all the countries in the world - as I do believe they want a single currency which will be digital - to allow for easier international transactions. That's just my thoughts though and not necessarily their plans.

Ontario woman kicked out of bingo hall for not using mask to cover breathing hole in her neck  Our idiotic governments have made us so scared and paranoid now, that we lack compassion for anyone but ourselves it seems.

76 rich countries join WHO vaccine alliance  Yet more stupidity by the shovel loads. Doing that means the countries have relinguished control of their vaccine and vaccine supplies to someone else. Which basically the height of stupidity. Look at Canada for a prime example of that. We were supposedly making one in collaboration with China, until they hijacked it on us!

Canada mulls global vaccine contribution as Trump turns back on alliance  We have a gullible idiot at the helm, so it's little wonder he's mulling it over.

P.E.I. urged to allow COVID-19 tests to meet new China travel requirements  Personally, I would reject that request out of hand. China is the one that got the whole world into this mess, now they can bloody well dig their way out of it on their own especially after STEALING OUR VACCINE!!!! In fact, I'd go even further and tell anyone leaving Canada to go to China for whatever reason, that they won't be allowed back into Canada that they'll have to make their permanent residence in China. Tough noogies whether they're allowed or not because they're not a citizen of China. Too bad. Who cares? I certainly don't.

More masks, gloves and wipes in P.E.I.'s garbage, IWMC says  Oh really? How come? Um duhhh.... What did they expect? That the people using that stuff would dispose of it, by eating it maybe? Because burning things creates air pollution and apparently throwing it out now creates more garbage. So what? Recycle it? As in recycled germs? Or maybe eat it? Because I don't know of very many other ways of getting rid of this mandated mandatory garbage we must buy and wear.

Canadians pleased with government reaction to pandemic: study Considering Canadians gave bozo brains a second mandate, that doesn't surprise me as most Canadians are more stoned and daft than the idiot at the helm is. Most of them probably don't have the education required to figure it all out and need someone to draw charts and pictures with connect the dots for them. Like I am doing in this blog for the most part. It's just pathetic that they can't see and understand that it's the government that got us into this mess in the first place, by first letting it into the country and then going against the recommendations made in our Charter of Rights & Freedoms for handling pandemics and quarantines.  That's in this blog somewhere too. I don't know if there's a label to get to it or not, but there should be.

COVID-19 restrictions strip Whistler of 2021 world luge championship  Yet another bit of fun being cancelled in the name of COVID19.

Nursing home residents now allowed to hug one designated person Finally after all these months they're finally going to be allowed to hug just one designated person? Guess we don't want the nursing home residents feeling too much love or happiness, as it'll increase the time it takes them to pine themselves to death if we do that.  Talk about cruel and inhumane punishment.

Province gives go-ahead for some P.E.I. school sports this fall  Wow! That's amazing! I hope they can keep those sports and they aren't reneged because of some excuse or other to do with the virus.

Quebec City Says it Will Isolate “Uncooperative” Citizens in Secret Corona Facility  Yeah, wondering when our good ole Canadian mainstream media plans on telling us this eh? This is a bilingual article that everyone living Quebec and even Canada should be made aware of. The text of the article is in English but the video is in French with English subtitles.   READ & HEED!!!!

Are both Canada & Australia becoming police states?

Colleges, universities urge students to be 'exemplary' as classes resume  Isn't that wishful thinking? I mean these are college kids who basically want to party and have fun as much as they possibly can.

WHO tempers quick vaccine hopes  Of course because that doesn't fall in line with their timeline of things and not enough people will have died yet, if we get the vaccine going too quickly.

'Mama, I need you': She was on her deathbed after being run over by a car, but COVID-19 rules kept her family from visiting  So so sad. So many more people are suffering and/or dying in loneliness and misery than just COVID19 patients. It's cruel & inhumane what they're doing in the name of the virus.

Until next time stay well & take care.....
