Cutting Branches, Cuddling the Pup, and .....

 Covid 19

Nov 5, 2020

It's a beautiful 19 C degree day outside. Warm by November standards here in QC and we're set for a few more warm days just like this one. Whoo Hoo! Just the right temp for me, I wish it was around 19 - 21 C all year long! But unfortunately here in QC, we get maybe a couple of days like that in spring and then another couple in autumn but for the most part it's either boiling or freezing around here. It's rare that we have mild temperature days like today.

So I took the opportunity to do what I still had to do before the cold weather and snow set in previously, and went out to cut back the raspberry & blackberry bushes. I was also going to cut down the brussels sprouts plants I had and I noticed they were growing tiny brussels sprouts on them. So as we have another week of good weather I'll leave them there and see if they get any bigger. If they do, that'll be awesome! My chives, and kale are still growing too despite all the cold weather (it's been down to -5C at night here) and snow (we had a centimeter or two earlier this week). I knew kale was a cold weather crop but I had no idea it could survive temperatures that low. The strawberry plants look viable too but they don't have any berries on them, but the leaves and flowers look just as chipper and perky as if it was mid-summer out there still. Not bad for the 5th of November in our area. Lots of years, we'd have had a couple of inches (not centimeters) of snow on the ground by now and it would stay and not melt because it would stay cold.

Other than that, I've been spending time petting and cuddling our dog, because she knows things are different (like she's really restricted in the places she can go and things she can do now - not because of her physical restrictions, but because they're imposed on her to stop her from injuring herself more) and she's bewildered and I guess feeling a little insecure because of it. I don't mind though, cuddling and petting her is as good for me as it is for her. I get my zootherapy that way. đŸ¶  It does wonders for the stress and blood pressure.

So now that it's lowered somewhat and I'm feeling less stressed, I'll try to elevate it again by blowing a few fuses over the following headlines I'm about to post:

Feds unveil plan to get coronavirus shots to nursing homes Those who are in or have relatives in Canadian nursing homes don't get too excited over this announcement because it's for the US.

Yeah we need to further reduce our contacts, when we're limited to our household family members. So how are we supposed to do that? Throw a family member out? Get a divorce? What? Dimwits R Us run this country now.

Wow! Just wow! The sickness and depravity that some people have. I hope that pedophile gets a nice long time behind bars for doing something as brazen as that in front of a teacher and other kids online. Wow....

Tobacco Plants Contribute Key Ingredient For COVID-19 Vaccine It would be wonderful if it included nicotine in it and that was felt for as long as the vaccine was working. Kind of an indicator as to how long the benefits of that vaccine lasts. It might also reduce smoking as smokers would no longer have to smoke in order to get the nicotine their bodies crave. I haven't smoked for 11 years now, but every now and then the urge crosses my mind to take it up again. Sometimes it's a hard urge to resist too, but then I remember what I went through to quit (as I went cold turkey with no patches, pills, gums or injections to help). So that's what stops me from taking it up again but if I had've quit the easy way with all those medical aids, maybe taking it up again wouldn't bother me as I'd just re-rely on those medical aids to quit the next time I wanted to.

How are they going to know what the 2 tier couples are doing in one of their homes together? Do they have monitoring devices installed by the government in everyone's homes in every room including the bedrooms and bathrooms? If not, how's the government going to know what they were doing together? I mean the gov'ts are just going over the top draconian now banning things one can do in the privacy of one's own homes, without anyway to monitor, or police such activities. That's just over the top insanely stupid. And all the monies siphoned off the taxpayers for the legislative sessions required to come up with that insanely stupid law, should be reimbursed to the taxpayers. Sometimes I think legislaters have run out of ideas for laws and so they come up with over the top insane laws that can't be enforced even though they've been enacted. I think they do that just to give themselves something to do to make it seem like they're working, in order to get paid. That's all. It's a legislaters form of "busy work" - you know like sweeping the floor in other companies would be - just something to make an idle employee do until the work bell rings. Wondering though if they're allowed to have sex outside?

Like I keep telling you, watch out for the operative words in these stories like "could" which doesn't  necessarily mean  it "will", it just means there's a possibility of it happening, but that word is a trigger word to keep everyone scared and compliant. So just remember that when you see headlines like that in the future and take it with a grain of salt.

Really? When they didn't want to close the borders to the US and wanted to continue to let the virus in and Pence had to order the borders closed instead of them???? And when they decided to bury all the covid cases as flu cases in early January as the head honcho at the CDC testified to in a meeting at congress? And who also ordered all the hospitals to mark all deaths as being covid related in order to cut down on time doing autopsies? And they're the ones that's going to criticize the gov't on how the gov't handled it???? Really???? Isn't that worse than the kettle calling the pot black in this case?????? Seriously, the CDC is as bad as or even worse than the US gov't was at handling this. Probably on purpose too, because I can't see how they could figure out how to manage and contain Ebola outbreaks in Africa but couldn't figure out how manage and curtail this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lying hypocritical ahems!

Food delivery apps cut some restaurant fees amid surging demand due to COVID-19 All the restaurants I've ever heard of all have their own delivery service with people employed by the restaurant itself just for that purpose and so far as I know always have had. Every single restaurant in the area, from Dominos and Chinese restaurants, the Indian restaurant, the everyday "family restaurants", the pizza restaurants, chicken restaurants like St. Hubert BBQ & KFC, all of them deliver and always have. The few who don't probably are small startups with hardly any clients because they're not well known or are the snoity types that thinks everyone should want to pay $20 for their soup du jour, when most people are thinking $20 or thereabouts would be a reasonable price for a whole meal and not just the soup.  Those are the types of restaurants around here that rely on those services and since I don't frequent those types of restaurants at all, not even for celebrations, I'm not familiar with their food and thus whether it's worth the price or not, so simply don't bother with them at all.

Speaking of which - the following is an article from CTV Montreal today:

Leaked report from Montreal public health urges reopening gyms, libraries and museums  You will note that the PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS OF MONTREAL has recommended these measures - to work in public health you are generally speaking supposed to hold a degree as some form of health practitioner - ergo these are doctors and maybe nurses too recommending this, but what does the pencil pushing pinhead that masquerades as a health minister have to say about that? This is what the miserable moron says about that: "We have not yet come to a place where we're comfortable, at the level where we should be," Quebec Health Minister Christian DubĂ© said at the daily press conference on Thursday, when asked about tweaking COVID-19 restrictions. You've seriously got to wonder what qualifies someone like this:

Christian DubĂ© has had a brilliant career in finance in some of Canada’s largest businesses and was MNA for LĂ©vis from 2012 to 2014, before becoming until very recently senior vice-president at the Caisse de dĂ©pĂŽt et placement du QuĂ©bec. This highly competent administrator known for his mastery of public finance issues completes the CAQ economic brigade with the goal of transforming the government of QuĂ©bec into a well-managed, efficient and effective organization.

What qualifies a pencil neck like that to 1) be Health Minister of anything anywhere and 2) contradict actual medical doctors??????????????????

I wanted that little article from today's news November 5th in here to demonstrate that most of what's going on is purely political and has SFA to do with the actual disease itself, when DOCTORS are recommending they loosen their grip on the population and let people out to enjoy themselves and it's the ash holes who are purely number crunchers who are locking people up and tightening their grip on them instead!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? IT HAS LITTLE TO NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE PANDEMIC ANYMORE, IT'S PURELY 100% POLITICALLY MOTIVATED ALL THESE LOCKDOWNS & DEPRIVATIONS WE'VE BEEN FORCED TO ENDURE!!!!! I hope you can finally see and understand what's happening in the name of this pandemic. I'm not quite sure why they want us continually locked up and separated - probably to make it easier for them to find and handle us once their plans are finished being made as to how to force us to do something they know we won't want to do, whatever that might be could be anything from taking the vaccine to winding up going to a gulag style camp as forced labour for all I know....

A freaking Mazing they got a green light. Aren't they afraid that the people in the ski lifts will sit too close together? Or maybe there'll be a big pile up of fallen skiers near a tree? Or maybe too many huddled together by the fire in the ski chalet? Or did they get the green light because one of the biggest resort areas in QC is Mont  Tremblant and they are worth billions and maybe someone there greased a gov't palm or two to be allowed to open? Just wondering how come it's not too dangerous to ski when it's too dangerous to swim and probably skate too, and for sure play hockey.

Paradox???? What paradox? You can have a work shortage in a certain field while there's tons of unemployed, because not all those unemployed people might be qualified to work in that particular field. Like unemployed golf grounds keepers are definitely not qualified to be nurses or doctors, or unemployed road repair crews aren't qualified to be architects or structural engineers. I mean even the dumbest of the dumb at that forum must be able to figure that out on their own. Hey I have an idea for all the unemployed workers, take them and assign them as the head health officials of various villages and what not.... I mean it seems that qualifications for that job doesn't matter when we have an accountant as our provincial health minister and for the federal health minister she's an art teacher. Most other provinces also have number crunchers and pencil pushers as their health ministers too. Only a few provinces have actual doctors and I think those are BC, AL & Nfld. The rest rely on totally unqualified idiots to masquerade as health ministers. So we can do that with the unemployed here in QC, assign them as the head health honcho of all the villages and hamlets across the province.

Coronavirus: Insurance claim for $6,000 cancelled trip denied after airline offers woman voucher Maybe from now on, we should pay our insurance companies using Cdn Tire Money, grocery coupons and AirMiles instead of cash. Wondering if they'd accept those forms of payment in lieu of actual good ole Cdn currency? It's doubtful because they can't pay their bills using those forms of payment. Nor can that woman buy her groceries, pay her rent/mortgage or other bills using an airline voucher. She paid money for the trip so she should get money back. PERIOD. END OF FREAKING STORY. And any insurance company that doesn't agree with that statement should then agree to accept any form of voucher valid in Canada or even gift cards to certain stores like Walmart's or the Dollar Store as payment too. Hey if it's good for the goose it should be good for the gander as well. Big companies like Insurance Companies and Airlines have been bending the rules and laws to suit themselves far too often now, as far as I'm concerned. Whatever laws that apply to the rest of us, should also apply to them as well. Meaning if I'm forced to pay back a debt in the same form of payment I took for a cancelled service - say I accepted a debit card payment, so by law I have to pay it back as a debit card payment to the same account the original payment came from (all stores have to do that) or pay back cash because it was paid for in cash, then I don't see why Airlines can get away with something else and Insurance Companies can back up the airlines "right" to do that, when no one else in Canada can.

Well not even that apparently according to a story I heard on the news tonight, where they said if one family member has it, that by the time they find out they have it (as there's an incubation period before symptoms show), the rest of the family has it too. So empathy or not, if someone in your family has it, you do too. Your symptoms will be manifesting themselves shortly.

Global coronavirus rise by one-day record of 400,000 While that looks like a staggering number you have to keep in mind that that's only a tiny fraction of the entire global population - that being close to 8 billion. So again another scary looking number to keep you scared and compliant.

Oh yes, jolly blowhard, trying to make it rain money again as if there were no limits on the amounts of money he can throw at people to try to make people like him and so he can keep his job.

Is Pandemic Unity Between Ottawa And The Provinces Starting To Slip? (Analysis) Unity???? You mean there was actually unity between them at some point???? Because I never noticed. At least not here in QC, where Legault and Ford were the first ones to actually act and do something to try to prevent the spread of it, while bozo brains, Damn & Haggy Doodoo sat on their hands and twiddled their thumbs. THEY ONLY STARTED ACTING AFTER LEGAULT & FORD DID!!!!! I probably have the stories linked in this blog somewhere as I'm sure the blog started on or near then.

You know I don't know who cares about those 2 but in case someone does, here you go...

When I see headlines like this I always wonder if it's only on the packaging on the outside and not on the contents inside as well? I mean if someone at the processing and packaging plant had coronavirus isn't it safe to assume that the people that handled the contents were infected with the virus as well? Then my mind wanders on to, well if it's on that could it be on plain paper box and tin can packaging and maybe on fresh produce in the produce section - as that's pretty much left in the open for everyone to paw over and cough and sneeze on.... Then I just stop wondering because it's driving me crazy when I realize that no matter what, we have to eat, and unless we can grow and or hunt and fish for all our own food, we're going to have to contend with supermarket food and possibly being contaminated with the virus.  I mean there's no other choice for most if not all of us - except the native populations who still have aboriginal hunting and fishing rights and if they have a yard where they can plant a garden and raise chickens, they're all set.

When I see stories like this, I always wonder how many hospitals Pegleg Lucien closed down when he was premier? Were there any hospitals in those regions that he closed down? If so, and they weren't replaced with another equal capacity at least hospital (and that's doubtful because so far as I know the only place in the province where a new hospital was built was in Montreal - the super hospital), then no wonder they don't have the capacity. Couple that with intervening decades and probably corresponding population growth for those regions, well ummmm duhhh.... Build new hospitals to acommodate more people, it's as simple as that. (Which I know in this bureaucratic nightmare tied up with miles of red tape gov't we have, that could still take at least another half a century to accomplish - a hospital was promised for our region over 40 years ago and they still haven't started on it yet).

Nothing like using this plandemic to become a police state, is there?

Covid reinfections 'to be expected' as virus spreads, say government scientists Maybe so, but I think they'll be pretty rare, given the very few times we've heard of any cases like that. I think maybe in total there's been 3-5 cases like that world wide, that I'm aware of and considering there's been over 40 million cases of it in the world so far, 3-5 is a drop in the bucket. So again something else to try to panic and scare you with. So don't worry about it.

Hundreds queue in Yiwu, China for experimental Covid-19 vaccine Wondering if that's the vaccine they stole from us???? If it is, I hope it's useless - as effective as shooting water into their veins for protection against the virus. It'll serve them right.

Who will care if things keep going the way they are now, by then, everyone will have had the virus and acquired their immunity naturally. So we won't need those pie in the sky vaccines anymore.

Yeah, I keep forgetting to buy rolling paper and I'm tired of baking so brownies is out of the question for the moment.

Schoolgirl awarded $25,000 for developing potential Covid-19 treatment We need more 14 year olds like her in the world! The kid sounds like she's a genius! I'm glad she won the award, she deserves it!

Eight passengers test positive for COVID-19 on Costa Cruises ship Here we go again.... I guess some people never learn, not even the hard way....

Scientists worry as more Americans say they’ll refuse COVID-19 vaccine  Well they should've made sure that Gates kept his big ugly mug out of the picture altogether and then maybe more people would trust the vaccine.

THIRD WAVE????? Even Anthony Fauci said they weren't in a second wave yet, that it's merely a large resurgence of the first wave, so how and when did they manage to skip right over a second wave altogether into 3rd one???? I swear to gawd, some journalists make sheite up out of thin air and then try to pass it off as news. No wonder there's a huge bruhaha about "fake news". If there is such a thing, this article is a perfect example of that, either that or just an idiotic blowhard trying to pretend to be a journalist.

Of course this pencil neck who's never set foot in one of those homes, probably not even to visit aging relatives, knows more than the nurses who are into the aches, pains, viruses and bacteria in these homes up to their eyeballs on a fulltime daily basis.

Oh huge surprise here!

They were already saying on the 17th that some of those restrictions would last beyond the 28 day period, not even waiting to see how things went.

So it's okay to let kideny transplant patients die, but not the COVID19 patients? What difference does it make? A patient is a patient and all should be treated equally rather than making one patient take a backseat for another one. It's not fair at all.

Coronavirus Pandemic Putting Damper on Holiday Shopping Season  As I said before I refuse to contribute to the economic machinery by doing any shopping. I'll make some stuff to give to family, friends & neighbours and give money but I'm not buying a damned thing. I'm sick of seeing people being valued only for keeping the economic machine running and not for themselves, by only allowing them to work but not to enjoy their lives, outside of work and not everyone enjoys their work. So for those people life has become a drudgery that maybe a lot of them don't care if they keep waking up day after day to face it or not anymore as they have nothing else to look forward to other than that.

On that note, I'm finished for the night... Until next time take care & stay well.

Back From the Vet's, Had Supper & Now Back at the Headlines for ....

 Covid 19

Courtesy Pixabay.com

November 4, 2020

OMG, what a freaking day! Boy am I glad it's over with now! We had to take our dachshund to the vet's because of problems with her back, so we did. We were supposed to call from the car when we arrived to let them know we were there and find out if it was alright to go in just then (because of covid and disinfection procedures and yadda yadda yadda). Anyhow, while I was on the phone there with the receptionist I asked if I could have a technician meet me outside in order to carry her up all the outside stairs they have there. So she said okay and when I got there there was a tech waiting for us. She came down and picked our dog up in her arms and started running upstairs with her in her arms. At the top step she stubbed her toe and fell with our dog still in her arms. I screamed because I had visions of our dog have more problems now than what we scheduled the appointment for. That caused our dog to pee all over everything (maybe the fall did, or maybe a combo of both). Then I felt bad for the girl too and so asked how she was. She said she was fine and so I was at least relieved about that, but still anxious about whether our dog sustained any internal injuries from the fall, so I told the vet what happened when he came in the room. Anyhow he did a thorough examination of our dog, checking everything including a neurological exam to check for problems with her neck and spine. He palpated her to make sure there were no hidden pains or lumps or other problems and listened to her heart and lungs. Because she was so  terrified (she's terrified of the car, so the moment we got into the car to go there she started panting and shaking) and traumatized from the fall on top of that, she was panting heavily. So after several minutes of trying to listen to her heart, he told me she has a heart murmur. Which was news to me. She never did before. He wanted me to get at least an x-ray done or to see a vet cardiologist with her. I can't afford things like that in private medicine for me, so I sure as hell can't afford it for her, no matter how much I love her. So I declined, thinking there's no way she has a heart murmur, it's probably because of her panting and he couldn't hear her heart properly.

So when we got home and while supper was cooking I logged onto the net to check out heart murmurs in dogs and sure enough it specifically said that when a dog pants they generally can't hear the heart properly and the panting may make it sound like there's a murmur. Then they list the signs a dog exhibits when they do have a murmur problem and she doesn't exhibit any of those signs. In fact in some of the signs, she's the complete opposite. So like everyone tells a parent - you know your child the best, so use your judgement.... Well in this case I know her better than he does and I can assure him she does not have a heart murmur. She does though have a mild back problem - he said it's at the very beginning and she has a very mild case of it, and basically said the same thing everyone else says. Keep her quiet, off of furniture and stairs and give her rest and he prescribed meds to help her as well.

That reminds me of a well renowned vet in the Montreal region that told me that another dog of ours had some kind of fatal liver disease and he would need a liver transplant like immediately or to be put down. Fortunately because of my human nursing knowledge, I knew that a liver disease like she was describing should theoretically cause yellow whites of eyes and skin in a human, so I asked her well should his eyes and skin be yellow and she said yes, so I showed her right then and there that neither showed even a tinge of yellow. So then she changed her tune and basically proclaimed him fine. But it seems to me that some vets play on the attachment the pet's owner has with their pets, trying to get them to pay for expensive procedures, or to let the animal be used for some kind of procedure that maybe they need an animal for at the vet college. That's what I think was going on with the liver disease diagnosis, I think they needed to practice on an animal doing a liver or some kind of organ transplant and she was going to try to sucker me into not only getting him to get the transplant but paying for the "privilege" of having student vets do the operation on him.  There's a lot of gimmicks like that out and there and no matter how well known a vet is you still have to have your guard up and watch out. Never agree to a procedure right away especially if you have any doubts about what they're saying. Go home and do some research yourself and get another opinion from another vet if necessary, before doing anything drastic.

Remember once the pet has been put down, there's no reviving them again if they didn't need to be put down in the first place, so make sure that when you make that decision it's the right one and not something a vet pressured you into doing right now, unless you know that it's the right decision too.

A neighbour of ours has a dachshund too and a few years ago her vet she had then told her she needed to put him down because of his back problem he had then. So my husband told me about it and he said that she said if I wanted to say good bye to her dog it was now as she was taking him to have him put down - the appointment was that morning. So I went over and sat down and while petting him I told her about our vet and how they treat back problems and that they wouldn't put him down. Instead they'd give him medication and recommend strict rest (no physical activity at all for a while) and so on. So she wiped her tears away and asked for the phone number to our vet, and I went home to rummage around for one of their cards and went back and gave it to her. So she called them and got an appointment with them. Anyhow suffice to say she still has her dachshund and he doesn't have as severe a back problem as he did then, but now he's an elderly dog - about 13 years old, so not so spry anymore anyhow, but he's still around and still goes for walks with her everyday.

So be wary of professionals recommendations (no matter the type of professional they are - whether that's a vet, a dentist, a chiropactor or what they might be, sometimes doing some research of your own and getting a second opinion can make all the difference).

Anyhow, I've got to get on with posting the headlines because there's still too many to get through in a day or two and I seriously want to get this over with until or unless there's drastic changes of one type or another in regards to the pandemic itself and how it's being handled. So.....

Away we go! .....

I bet the Americans would like to keep the borders closed until we could get our little wanna-be dictator under control too.

Quebec conspiracy theorist kicked off YouTube for spreading COVID-19 misinformation Another prime example of how freedom of speech and expression is being abrogated by media giants who figure they're the only ones with the rights to it, to spread their points of view whether it's the truth or not. Because quite frankly from what I can see I don't believe any of the mainstream media including such places as CBC, CTV, YouTube, Suckerbergers platform nor any others knows their ashes from their elbows when it comes to this plandemic. Most of them have no qualifications in medicine whatsoever and are just spreading the gospel according to..... (whoever it is they're chosing to believe and follow, except of course if they're real doctors, they prefer following pencil necked accountants and art teachers and witch doctors than real doctors as there's been tons of doctors speaking out against this BS, but they barely give them a mention let alone any credence). I was told many a time on such type platforms to shut up and called an idiot and everything else, but yet everything I said should've been done from the beginning but wasn't even thought of being suggested as a measure until mid March and was only starting to be done then (much too late - like closing a barn door after the horses have left the barn). The immunity passport was my idea, it wasn't my idea as it was around long before I was born, but I suggested using antibodies from the cured to help the sick with this virus, I said the border needed to be closed on January 21st when I heard the Chinese bozo talking about it in the news. Then I said all the people coming into the country who was in China or rubbed elbows with those who were in China, needed to be under strict mandatory quarantine (and NOT the voluntary self isolation BS), I flipped out when I heard about Iranian passengers with the disease sauntering through all our airports without anyone worrying about it in the least - until we started having pockets of the disease all across the country, I said we all needed to be wearing masks (but noooooooooo we weren't allowed because the braindead idiots in charge wanted the medical personnel to horde them all - when it would've been better to mandate that we all wear them, thereby cutting down on the spread, while it was still manageable, drastically and probably eliminating the spread altogether by doing so) and I scoffed at "wash your hands you'll be fine". I mean everything, everything, everything I said happened or had to be done anyway whether the witch doctor, the art teacher and the pencil pushing idiots that masquerade as health ministers liked it or not. If it were done sooner though like at the beginning we wouldn't still be going through this now. But yeah, I was told I was an idiot and to shut up. When I used to be told that, I'd ask the person saying that what their medical credentials were, to say that to me and they'd shut up and leave me alone.  But it's true 99.99% of these people telling us to shut up and stuff, either knows way less about it then the ones they're telling to shut up, or nothing at all. In that they have no training whatsoever in the medical field. So while I don't know what this guy was saying, I think he probably has as much right to say it, as those who are trying to censor him has of saying whatever it is they espouse (which probably has nothing whatsoever to do with the medicine and science of this whole thing and only that they believe and trust some ash hole in power or in the media circus - like journalist or anchor person). Because those are the types that are primarily running this circus and opportunistic doctors who have their own pharmaceutical interests in certain vaccine developers (as in either partially own one such business like Fauci and a few people in the CDC), or agendas (like Gates, the WEF, the WHO, and governments) but very few who actually have the common person's interests at heart. Most vultures and opportunistic and jack booted ash holes have hijacked this plandemic for their own benefits and will be bound and bent to keep anyone from finding out the real truth behind it all, for as long as they can, because that gives them more time to finalize operations or preparations (whatever it is they're doing) and to prey on and use us towards whatever their agendas are. But whatever that real truth is, I doubt this guy knows what it is, anymore than Qanon does. Either way, whatever they have to say, they have the right to say it, because freedom of speech and expression is in both the Cdn and US constitutions and APPLIES TO ALL OF US & NOT JUST A SELECT FEW WHO ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO OWN THEIR OWN MEDIA PLATFORMS!

That, my friends is why I stick to the mainstream media headlines for the most part. They can't tell me to shut up and try to call me a conspiracy theorist if I'm using THEIR OWN STUFF AGAINST THEM. I mean I have it all documented here. From the headlines right on down to the PDFs, charts and diagrams and you name it. None of what is here is from conspiracy theory sites and if it is, it was for a purpose, but 99.99% of the stuff here is from the mainstream media, like CBC, CTV, Reuters, AP, FoxNews, CNN, ABC, BBC, Cdn Press, Agence France Presse, and so on. That's where almost all the bylines on all the stories are from, oh yeah, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and a few others like that as well, along with local media sources, like Montreal Gazette, or a Calgary paper etc... I'd hardly call those tabloids, or conspiracy rags. I mean the one yesterday about the Canadian gov't wanting to pass a bill to allow the military to use propaganda AGAINST IT'S OWN CITIZENS (which is mind blowing to say the least), was published in the Ottawa newspaper (and the rest of mainstream media Canada is conveniently ignoring and refusing to pick up for rebroadcast - so it's a good thing I saw it and latched on to when I did, or I might never have known about it, nor would anyone else - at least now the few people who visit this blog daily might have a chance of finding out about that). But I didn't get it from a conspiracy rag, it was from the Ottawa Citizen I believe. But you see if I didn't have the headline from that source in here, I'd be accused of being a conspiracy theorist and making sheite up to suit myself, when infact I'm not. Like I tell people often, just because you didn't see or hear about it, doesn't mean it didn't happen or wasn't said, so that's why I use the headlines here for that purpose. Because there's no way they can say I made it up and I'm a conspiracy theorist. Fixes all those silencers once and for all.

New COVID rent relief program won't help struggling businesses until next month, group says Well i hope the struggling businesses were able to apply for and get their help for the beginning of this month already.

Again the operative word in that sentence above is "could". It doesn't mean it will, it just means it could, but so far from what I can tell that while there's more cases, there's less deaths. So that again was just another scare tactic.

7 Women Who Started Their Own Businesses In Lockdown Good for them! I wish them the best of luck with their new businesses!

OMG that is one place where I would NOT want to be homeless - in frigid Alaska! Cripes life must be miserable enough as it is for them, without them getting sick with this virus as well. Geez....

To build back better after COVID-19, we must support parents And elderly parents aren't having an easy go of it either there Phd candidate! Parents of kids under 18 have all kinds of help and resources that we parents (the parents of todays parents) never had. We had $7 a month per kid family allowance, no tax breaks except to claim them as dependants and only one parent could do that, no subsidized anythings at all. So it cost us our of our own pocket money to feed and clothe them, to care for them etc.... We didn't have $500 & $600 (depending on age of kid) per month per kid family allowance, we had NO daycare subsidized or otherwise, so we had to pay for babysitters out of our own pocket and they wanted minimum wage. So of course women who could only get jobs making minimum wage didn't work as it was useless for them and as a nurse who made double the minimum wage rates per hour (before income taxes were taken off of course), it was almost useless to us too to go to work considering we had to give a babysitter half of our income, pay for uniforms, lunches, transportation to and from work. I mean there were a good many times where I wondered why I bothered for the amount of money I was left with and with the big whoop de doo amount of $7 a month per kid, that didn't even pay for a box of pampers diapers so forget helping feed and clothe them with that amount. All special interests my kids might've had like taking ballet classes or playing hockey that was on me to cover all expenses for as there were no tax deductions for such things. So THEY NEED SUPPORT???? I have a suggestion then... How about a straight jacket that ought to be enough support for the fragile snowflakes that can't cope with all they have going for them now, because if they can't make it with all that help, they're f'n hopeless and need a padded rubber room to sit and console their poor weak fragile psyches in. I'm sorry but I've had enough of them getting all the help all the while ignoring those who brought those ingrates into the world and killed themselves raising the spoiled brat monsters and getting nothing but ignored at the best and kicked in the head with having their wholes lives ripped away from them by the laws enacted by the pathetic morons in power. Who have decreed that the elderly stay at home and not go out and not see family or friends, with NO COMPENSATION OR HELP WHATSOEVER. What's new, we're used to no compensation and no help whatsoever as that's been pretty much our entire life's stories when it comes to how this generation has been treated by the government. So if you want to advocate for anyone for your Phd there miss psychotic face, try advocating for the elderly who are the ones that REALLY NEED THE HELP AND NOT THE ALREADY PANDERED TO GENERATION WHO GETS EVERYTHING THEY WANT & THEN SOME TO THE DETRIMENT OF OTHERS IN SOCIETY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've had enough of this help the poor parents BS. F during this pandemic they got $600 PER KID to sit around the table playing monopoly munching on mommy's fresh out of the oven cookies, while SENIOR COUPLES ONLY GOT THAT MUCH TOGETHER AND THEY HAD ADDITIONAL EXPENSES BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC WITH NO PARENTS TO COVER THOSE ADDITIONAL EXPENSES FOR THEM LIKE THE KIDS WHO EACH GOT $600!!!!!!!!! I'm just f'n tired of this sheite. So I for one even though I'm not on your school's decision panel for you Phd vote AGAINST YOU IN FAVOUR OF ONE OF YOUR COLLEAGUES.

Even without a pandemic going on many health professionals find themselves needing psychological help coping with certain events. I mean while we're taught to keep a certain emotional distance from our patients, it's still hard when things don't go as they should - as in a patient gets worse, or worse yet dies, or develops something else due to a specific treatment. I mean we're all human and it touches us, some more than others, but we shouldn't need a pandemic to recognize that.

See? Here's a  prime example of this virus being used as an excuse to unlawfully target a population - and that's reported by the Canadian Press - not a conspiracy rag or tabloid.  But if I didn't find it in a mainstream media report I'd be accused of lying or being a conspiracy theorist.

U.K. Virus Plan in Trouble as Johnson Faces Northern Revolt  We ALL NEED TO REVOLT NOT JUST those in the UK!

Bizarre Russian Disinformation Campaign Claims UK Covid Vaccine Will Turn You Into A Monkey hehehehe.... What can I say folks? Some of these headlines are just off the wall entirely!

Especially in Vancouver where the entire winter is just one long cold drizzle....

Govts, companies shifted COVID risk management responsibility to individuals: study Of course because for the most part those organizations are both too stupid and lazy to figure it out and manage it on their own.

I’m A Sex Worker Who Has To Decide Whether To Risk My Life To Pay My Bills During COVID-19 Hey, do you seriously want sympathy from hard working minimum wage earners who probably have the same education levels as you but chose to do decent honest jobs rather than slutty whoring jobs like you chose? You're barking up the wrong tree there bitches.... Seriously I don't know of m/any people who'd have sympathy for you after YOU MADE ALL THE WRONG CHOICES IN YOUR LIFE! That's on you and no one else. So suck it up and tough it out.

Searing new political ad juxtaposes Tiffany Trump's lavish birthday with socially-distanced funerals and cancelled weddings Hey the political classes think they're equivalent to royalty in countries that have no royal sovereign - even here in Canada where we do have a royal sovereign, the political class seems to think they're royalty too, the way some of them act.

Cdn nurses unions across the country should band together and call for an inquiry into the handling of this whole pandemic from the genocidal beitch Tam on down - since the doctors are too gutless to do it.

Finger pointed at Swiss yodelling 'superspreader' concert What can I say? It's another one of those headlines that you weren't expecting to see. I know I wasn't.

WHO study finds remdesivir didn’t help COVID-19 patients But yet it supposedly helped  Trump recover and the FDA approved it as a COVID19 treatment. I'm beginning to believe the exact opposite of whatever the WHO says because so far they're batting 0 on everything.

Covid-19 deaths will rise almost 80% by February, researchers foresee Yep, yep, yep, uh, huh.... Surreeeeeee.... More scaremongering in the media.

Anyhow, that's enough for tonight.... I'll be back at this tomorrow, so as they say in TVland stay tuned, we'll be right back after this commercial break.... Until then stay safe & take care.

Vicarious Tropical Vacations, Pizza Party & Blogging About...

 Covid19

Sept 26, 2020

Since I last left things in here, I've been busy catching up on some zzzzzzzzzzzzs. I don't know what it is but it seems that at least once a week now I need a day to just sleep. So that's pretty much what I did yesterday and eating some KFC.

Today I had a blast making a couple of pizzas to take to our neighbour's for what was supposed to be a backyard pizza party until the mosquitoes drove us indoors, so it became an indoor pizza party, after which we were shown several pictures and videos of their latest tropical vacations to Cuba, Panama and Mexico. I don't know but I thought the Panama vacation was probably the most fun as they went on several tours - through the jungle, through old and new Panama and to see the Panama Canal. Which reminds me of a canal near here only the Panama is much larger for much larger boats. The prettiest beaches though were in Cuba. Just beautiful. That's where they were when COVID19 lockdowns were declared. They got out on the last flight out from Cuba before they stopped allowing planes to fly from there. When they got home they had to quarantine for 14 days, so even though we looked after their dogs while they were gone and had their key and a few other things they left us in case we'd need them, we couldn't give them back to them until 14 days after they'd been back. By then everyone was in lockdown including us.

Due to the lockdowns and the rules surrounding socializing being so damned strict up until lately we hadn't had a chance to have our backyard pizza party before now and see those pics and videos. We planned this last week before Dube, Legault & company decided that we shouldn't socialize anymore for at least a month. Since it was something we normally do at least once a summer but couldn't because of the stupid rules surrounding this plandemic we didn't do until now - because rules were loosening a bit more, until suddenly whoops it's back to tighter than a drum without being a literal lockdown.  It still is technically except that people are allowed out to work and school. Basically this is more akin to the government grounding all of us delinquent teenagers, because we insisted on having a little fun, and being grounded, instead of being treated like flat out criminals and put under house arrest.

Now if I don't fall asleep again while doing this, I'll post whatever headlines I can for now...

A supercomputer found a promising theory about why COVID-19 cases go downhill fast. It even explains the bizarre range of symptoms. I actually found this one to have some credibility and if that's the case, doctors may be able to treat severe covid19 cases differently than just shoving ventilator tubing down their throats hoping for them to survive the ordeal. At least it provides an idea of what might be happening and why and maybe as a result a better way of treating it.

Anti-mask protest in Montreal draws large crowd, propelled by U.S. conspiracy theories You know based on the news stories from mainstream media that I've posted in this blog (which is mostly comprised of such stories), I can't help but agree with many of those theories, because the stories I've seen tend to support them. Those are the mainstream media stories too. Just read back in the blog anywhere and you'll see tons of stories lending credence to and  supporting those "conspiracy theories".

Immigrants say their lives are in limbo as pandemic blocks their path to citizenship News flash for all you special people aka "immigrants"..... I, nor my husband, nor son, nor daughter-in-law, nor friends, nor any of our neighbours are immigrants but all of our lives are in limbo because of the pandemic! We haven't been allowed to live one normal day since this started. Everyday there are things we would like to do, but can't or are forced to do but don't want to (like stay home, and wear masks). So what makes you so special that your lives shouldn't be in limbo because of it anyhow?

Harshmallow: Virus prompts pause for Peeps holiday treats Deciding that already? Geez theres a few more candy coated holidays before Easter to come and get through, like Halloween, Christmas, and Valentines to be specific and we haven't gotten to or through those yet, so how do you know what Easter will bring? Besides disappointment according to this story....

Mason jars, lids hard to find during pickling season I think I posted stories about this before, but the case is still the same, at least around here it is. That's why I still can't make my rhubarb jam, that I so want to make and had to freeze the rhubarb in hopes that someday soon I'll have the jars required.

They did that a couple of weeks ago, but honestly I don't think that'll be enough and I find that it came really really late in the need, because after all it's 6 months since a lot of people have lost their jobs and thus incomes. So there should've been a food drive like this long before now, and there should be more between now & Christmas as well and not just to collect for Christmas, but for October & November as well.

Will the COVID-19 pandemic permanently change the way we work? I wish the media would stop doing stupid stories like this, because unless the person they're talking to is a time traveller that came back in time to talk to them or has a crystal ball, it's all just speculation as no one knows for sure. But knowing human nature and how gregarious we are as  group, I doubt it. People are going to want to get back to work with others even if it means fighting traffic jams in order to do so.

Bye, bye, browsing: High-touch Edmonton stores rethink retail strategies during pandemic This is just pure unadulterated paranoia and nonsense. If they're going to use "high touch" browsing as an excuse to close stores then they'd better start closing all grocery & convenience stores too. Have you seen the amount of people that pick items up off the shelf to inspect them (like BB dates, and ingredients, and prices if hidden on the bottom)? Because I have. Now they've even added a new reason to pick them up off the shelves and put them back,  - in order to show them to the person they're talking to on the phone. Just saying that it's a jar of whatever and the ingredients are such isn't enough, now they have take a pic and send that to whoever they're talking to, so they can see and read it as well. And of course they never like whatever it is they're seeing on the product and so put it back. Or have you seen how many people paw the fresh veggies and fruits over trying to find the best one/s of the bunch? I kid you not, I stood and watched a woman one day at Super C pick up and inspect every bunch of bananas that was in the banana case. I wanted to buy bananas too, but after watching that, I decided against it. But I'm sure she's not the only one that pawed them over before I got there. And we eat this stuff. I mean we put this stuff in our mouths, unlike books & records. Unless you're a really strange person with a really strange paper & vinyl diet.

ECB's Lagarde shifts burden to governments to aid recovery Sounds like she's still working for the IMF and not the ECB, considering the IMF loved indebted countries, that way they could offer financial assistance in exchange for whatever resources they could pilfer from the country - sounds like she's trying to get the  European countries so far into debt they'll have to go begging the IMF hat in hand to get bailed out whereby they'll demand whatever resources they have in exchange for their help.

I hope they stay locked down forever!

Coronavirus: Bamboo shortage forces Canadian zoo to return pandas to China Too bad, because so far as I'm concerned they were the only good things to come out of China in recent history.

Coronavirus: How will the world vaccinate seven billion?   That's what I've been wondering but I'm sure Bill Gates has been salivatating over this for a long time and so has it all already figured out how he's going to corral 7 billion captives and inoculate them forcibly 1 by 1 so he can charge x amount per dose and turn into a googleaire overnight.  Or him and his cohorts - maybe they're dividing the populations up between them, so they all have a equal share and thus make equal amounts of money. That would be my guess.

In case you missed the previous articles posted about this in prior posts here's another one.

Face masks could be giving people Covid-19 immunity, researchers suggest The way I see people even health authorities like Dube here in QC, & Arruda, along with Fauci in the US and others treat their masks when they take them off to speak, they don't follow their own advice they give. Their hands are all over the outside of the masks. Some of them including bozo brains  Trudeau, shoves them into their jacket pockets while talking and then takes them out again to put on, with the outside of the mask as the part that's handled with their barehands and touching the insides of their pockets. So when I see stuff like that I take the masks BS about as seriously as I take the tooth fairy and santa clause.

Anyhow, that's about it for now as it's getting pretty hard for me to see anything and I'll soon be waking up with keyboard imprints on my face, if I don't go hit the sack now. So take care and stay well until next time.
