I know Hallowe'en is still almost a full week away, but as I recall, planning for it took at least that long. Planning on how to celebrate it (and this year probably means you'll be doing it a lot differently than in the past), what costumes to wear, what treats to have and give out, what meals & drinks to make for the festivities, among other things.

So I thought I could make a special post to help the wanna-be trick or treaters and their parents make some decisions in that regard, via links to articles, crafts, recipes and the like that might be of interest to such revelers.

Okay I think that pretty much does it for costumes from baby to brother & sister and pregnant mom & dad to fluffy and fido and everyone else inbetween.  Hopefully you'll find an inspiration for your own costumes this year amongst all the various ones to choose from.

Is Halloween cancelled in Ontario? 'Don't go trick or treating,' Premier Ford urges parents and kids Weird Quebec has a higher caseload than Ontario and the QC kids are allowed to go Trick or  Treating but not the Ontario kids....

Are his kids going to be "sacrificing" too? Or will they have a well stocked neighbourhood to trick or treat in or perhaps instead a super duper over the top private Halloween party for them & their closest 500 friends perhaps? He's one of the biggest lying hypocrites the Canadian government has ever seen.

Huge group of bats fly over man fishing on the Katherine River in Australia Euuuuuu this just really ties the whole COVID19 thing and Halloween right together, considering the coronavirus causing so many problems world wide "is said to have originated in bats in Wuhan China".

As if there hasn't already been enough fun and joy sucked out of this year, here's yet another fun killer. In this case I say F the doctor. Let the kids enjoy themselves because it's probably the only time they'll be able to all year long, considering Santa's been cancelled all over the place, and I'm sure if the major Grinches that rule the world had it their way Christmas would be cancelled too. Except they don't dare to because that would really wreck their precious economy (the only reason we're allowed out of the house), as it's such a commercial holiday now, most commerces make 30% - 50% of their annual business near Christmas time. So there's a good chance that if we are allowed to celebrate Christmas santa will only be involved via movies, cartoons and kids imaginations and not in malls or parades, as those are mostly being cancelled already.
