Living Life a Little Amidst Blogging About....

 Covid19

Sept 19, 2020

Apart from that horrid experience at St. Hubert BBQ the other night with that revolting meal that cost a fortune, we managed to fit other more interesting things in between then and now.

For one, we finally got some clean clothes as I finally managed to find a day to do laundry. Then we went and got our tires on the car looked after and we wanted a tune-up and oil change done on it too, but the mechanic said everything was fine and we didn't need it done. Afterwards we went and did some of the errands we needed to do on the outside, before coming home.

As soon as we pulled into our driveway our next door neighbour met me at the fence between our properties and said she had something for me and asked me to go over. I said fine but I had to do something in the house first and so brought some of the stuff we got in the house and put it away and let our dog out in the backyard and then went over to see what she had to give me. When I got there though, she and her husband insisted I sit and have a beer with them in the backyard at their picnic table and just talk and catch up on stuff, since before we went into lockdown.  I was saddened to hear about their various health problems and that her doctor is basically going to have her driver's license taken away from her at the end of this month due to her health issues.  But we talked about lighter and funnier things too, so it wasn't all doom & gloom there was some levity and some laughter sprinkled in there as well. Good for the soul. No one could ask for better neighbours than they've been to us. In fact I think of her more as a friend than merely a neighbour, but our whole entire relationship has been maintained outside our houses in our yards, or over at the fence, or on the internet via email.

After I finished my beer and collected the stuff she wanted to give me, I came home to an awesome supper of BBQ T-bone steak, macaroni salad and a premade southwestern salad, that was waiting for me, because my husband cooked the steaks on the BBQ and got the salads out and put them on the table and set the table as well. So all I had to do was sit down and enjoy the sumptuous meal he put together for us.  It was way, way, way better than anything offered in any restaurants around here, for any price you care to name.

Then I decided to take the evening and relax playing computer games and playing with our dog. She has some long fuzzy squeaky toys that she likes to squeak, but also use as tug of war toys when she plays with us. I just wanted a day of not thinking of the pandemic (well other than having to wear the masks when we went out earlier in the day to get the car looked after and take care of errands) at all. I wanted a day that felt more or less normal to me, for a change and it did. I think I needed that too.

We went out today and did a couple more errands, but we didn't have time to do everything we wanted to do (because some stores close at 5pm on Saturdays in QC) and so came home and had some BBQ ribs done the right way, because the ribs we had the other night didn't quell our cravings for them. What I made tonight, was an awesome supper even if I do say so myself. Way better than what we got at St. Hubert BBQ and it only literally cost maybe all of $4 each, whereas it cost us $50 for the 2 of us at St. Hubert's because mine was $20 (half rack of ribs) and my husband's was $30 (whole rack of ribs). Okay so we each had basically a half rack of ribs tonight for supper and not a whole rack along with french fries, asparagus, slices of avocado & celery sticks, at the restaurant we had the ribs, broccoli, fries, sauce & the bottom of a hamburger bun.  We had way better quality food (asparagus vs broccoli with avocado slices & celery sticks vs sauce and a hamburger bun bottom),  but it was still $4 each instead of $20 each and it was way more palatable too! Just to show you the difference in cost of home made and restaurant food along with quality too.

Anywho.... Back to the main subject of this blog.... Covid19 and all the headlines it's creating....

Are they sweeping it's origins under the rug and trying to hide it from the rest of the world? Do they honestly think we're all that stupid or what?

Trump says he's taking 'high road' by not meeting with Democrats on coronavirus relief  I'm sorry, I don't follow.... How is not talking to the other side about something taking a high road? I always thought that in order to resolve differences or to come to an agreement with someone you needed to talk to them - in that case, have a meeting with them.

Sure feels like it's over here. We had to turn the bedroom heater on last night in order to not freeze, and to be able to get to sleep. In fact it's going down to 0C and -1C tonight and tomorrow night and it was pretty close to that last night as well. Today wasn't all that warm either. I had to wear a long sleeve pullover sweater and my jacket to go out and do errands today. Though, I'm sure somewhere on this continent it still seems like summer. In California, Nevada and Florida for sure, but I think the northern states are pretty much feeling in tune with the time of year it is.

Coronavirus spikes in Spain, France and U.K. raise specter of second wave  Why can't these media types get it through their thick skulls that in order to have a 2nd, or any other subsequent wave, the first one needs to have basically petered out and disappeared for all intents and purposes and I'm sorry but there's very few places that can claim that.... NZ maybe, NS maybe and maybe 1 or 2 other spots around the world, but for the most part everywhere else there was a subsidence, but not a total disappearance of it, so where there were subsidences before we're seeing resurgences now, but it's still all the 1st wave. If NZ or NS gets clobbered with it again, they can claim to be in their 2nd wave, but for the most part the rest of the world is still dealing with  wave #1.

That's a very beautiful scenic drive through Zion National Park. Unforgettable.

Covid Chronicles, Vol. 1: A nurse's anguish in the ICU  A kind of comic book story about the COVID pandemic put together by NBC. It is done in segments/installments, at the bottom of each segment is the link to the following segment, so you can follow it to it's conclusion.

A bit of economic good news for Americans.

Oh well.... So much for my short lived optimism.

Russian COVID-19 vaccine: Early results show antibody response That's good news! Now let's hope there's no serious side-effects associated with it!

Biden says he would take COVID vaccine "tomorrow" So if that's the case, why are the democrats griping and moaning about vaccines being approved too early if Biden would take one  tomorrow? Obviously he isn't worried about one being approved too soon if he'd  take one tomorrow.

Crime and the COVID-19 pandemic: A look at the uptick in violence That's what my husband said, that if the virus didn't kill them all off, they'd take care of the rest themselves. Sometimes I wonder if he's not right.

Now that is scary! I went into a store today that has one of those automatic sanitizer dispensers and put my hand underneath quickly but nevertheless by the time I took it away I had so much sanitizer in my hand, that it was running up my arm inside my sleeves and I rubbed it on both hands but I still had a slimy sopping wet handful of it,  and had to use some paper towel that was nearby to get the excess off my hands. It's good I don't smoke anymore, because I'd have gone up in flames the next time I lit a cigarette probably.

Bold hopes for virus antibody tests still unfulfilled I get the feeling that's because they don't want us to know for sure if we've had it or not, because if we had it, we'll be less likely to get the vaccine and it seems to me that one of the prime objectives of this plandemic is to get us all injected with whatever is in those vaccines - possibly chips of some kind maybe?

During pandemic, Brazilian horror park reopens as drive-thru Okay well that is definitely different.

3 tips to avoid puppy scams during the pandemic, according to Better Business Bureau investigator We all love puppies - or most of us anyhow and who wouldn't want an adorable lovable little mutt to keep us company during quarantine and lockdown? I think most of us would love one, if we don't already have one or more, but there are a lot of scam artists out there taking advantage of that fact, so beware.

This enterprising little girl put her lockdown time to good use and now stands to make a fortune on it.

Oh you mean they're showing off the vaccines they stole from us for the first time? Isn't that what you really mean?

Is that the one you stole from us? You bunch of thieving liars!

Canada’s current deficit level will be ‘unsustainable’ within 1 to 2 years: PBO We have Santa Trudeau to thank for that I think. Standing on his front steps every day doling out money to everyone who does not need it, while forgetting all about the ones who desperately need it. As per usual with that brain dead idiot.

Quebec to give $5M from COVID-19 fines to crime victim support groups   So then they ought to be reimbursing the people that got gouged to death by their stupid fines, because as far as I'm concerned those fines ought to be criminal and the ones charging them ought to be behind bars. I mean hello, there braindead politicians, some of your fines you are imposing on some people are what they get in a whole entire year for income. Not everyone makes a half a million dollars a year for sitting in the National Assembly for 6 months (if that) a year. Most people make like 1/10th  or even less than that a year and have to work an entire year to make that. I mean wake up you highway robbers and smell the same coffee the rest of us have to drink on a daily basis. One city charges $240  fines for not wearing a face mask and that's on all infractions of the same type no matter how many times you're busted for it. Here in QC it's a graduating fine going from I think $600 to the sky's the limit. So give some of that money back to the people you gouged it from as they're victims of crime too. Your crimes!

'We need to think of COVID as a ceremony': Parents, students talk about their back-to-school plans I don't know but I somehow can't get my mind into thinking of COVID as a ceremony. What's wrong with you people? Since when is a disease that causes a pandemic a "ceremony"? Seriously, get your heads screwed on straight, why don't you!?!

This is one of the sad aspects of this plandemic, in that even though a person doesn't get sick or lose a loved one because of COVID19, they are still prone to losing everything else from their life savings and jobs, to their homes and even their dignity.

I should all of them would, otherwise what is going to be getting injected into people's bodies, if the medicine isn't scientifically sound?

Salmon May Harbor Infectious Coronavirus For a Week, Study Shows  Then cook it properly before eating and you shouldn't have a problem. I don't know of any viruses that can survive 450 F heat for 15-20 minutes (the time & temp you usually cook it for in the oven).  If it can survive that and being frozen for over a week in a deep freezer, then we have one humdinger of a virus which I'm positive didn't come from bats, because while I don't know much about bats, I seriously doubt their body temperatures ever range from -40F all the way up to +450F. So it would be highly suspect if it can survive that huge temperature range, considering it's supposed original main host's body temperatures don't go through that extreme of a range.

Seriously???? What did they think he was going to do? Shoot them through the screen or what? I mean gawd some people can be pretty anal if you ask me. Other than the fact that the person who called may not have liked the kid very much, what did that accomplish? If I were the cops I'd be issuing the person who made the call a citation for making nuisance calls and potentially blocking the use of the 911 line from some real emergency occurring at the same time as they made their call.

178 mph on Ga. 400? Police don’t even try to stop motorcyclist. There's been so many of these crazy speeding and stunt stories since the pandemic started, it's unreal.

Did they think she was going to infect the sealife with COVID19 or what? I get that they don't want infected people near others, but if she's surfing, it's highly unlikely that anyone is within 2 meters of her and she should be a safe distance from anyone and everyone as long as she's surfing. So what's the point of that? I get people are supposed to be in quarantine, but I also get that sometimes they might be testing positive but not feeling sick. So if they do self quarantine at home and do activities outside away from others like say walk alone in the woods, or surf, or go for a nice drive to see the fall colours, what's the big deal? They're still "self-isolating" if they're not coming into contact with others. It's when they're positive with or without symptoms and on top of others, that's the problem, but surfing alone in the ocean???? How's that a problem? I think some authorities are a little over-zealous if you ask me.

Fauci says a coronavirus vaccine is ‘unlikely’ by U.S. election What he means that the one he & Gates are cooking up together is unlikely to be finished by then. Because so far as he's concern that/those are the only vaccine/s that will be viable at all, and should be the only ones approved of for use.

COVID-19 outbreaks in Quebec schools cause for concern Apparently not enough of a concern to close them and make everyone take their classes online.

What is with the vile disgusting pigs that calls themselves men over there in India anyhow? Why are there so many depraved vile rapists running rampant in that country anyhow? What they need is an automatic sentence that if they're arrested and charged for such a crime, they're automatically castrated. Not chemically castrated, but physically castrated, so they have nothing to rape anyone with ever again. Then thrown in a cell with the biggest baddest meanest horniest creeps to be found in that prison. Let the rapists get raped every night in their jail cells and see how they like it. Honestly.  If they thought that that's what the rest of their lives would look like if they got caught, I think there wouldn't be so many rapes going on there anymore.

Really??? Well then what I want to know is who precisely told you to go have wild beach and house parties and illegal raves in the woods and in abandonned buildings???? Because that person ought to be shot.

Still? We never did. We thought about doing it, but then we thought it was as stupid as it was impractical given that we'd have to wipe down not only the groceries, but the bags and the surfaces that bags were on and some groceries couldn't be wiped down with things like disinfectants - like fresh produce. And so given the futility of that, wiping down everything else except the fresh produce was like well why bother? If it's on everything else in the bags that touched the produce, then it's on the produce too and if that's the case, it's futile. Either don't bother wiping things down at all, or do but stick to canned fruits and veggies and forego all fresh foods from now on. That I can't and refuse to do. Just shoot me now and put me out of my misery if I have to not only go into house arrest but have to eat stuff I don't like too. There comes a point in what's going on here, where you wonder what's the point of living anyhow, and hope you get the virus and die just to get this long drawn out monotony over and done with. So, I'm sorry there are some things I won't give up on account of this virus and if that winds up being what did me in, well sobeit, at least I had a little bit of enjoyment out of whatever life this is passing for now, before I die.

I have to draw the line there for the night.... Until next time take care & stay well. Try to enjoy life a little without getting into trouble with the over zealous gestapo posing as Covid law enforcement officers.

Restocking Freezers & Pantries &

Continuing the COVID19 Coverage

Courtesy Pixabay.com

July 27, 2020

We're not quite finished restocking the freezer yet, as there was way more food given away and perished than what we were able to buy today. But basically today was spent grocery shopping trying to restock the freezer and maybe pick up some depleted pantry items here and there.  So we're probably going to have to finish that tomorrow.  If we can. Looking at next week's fliers I'd say we'd better try to finish it tomorrow or we're not going to have the same selection of meat nor the same prices.

Other than that, it's just trying to keep on top of the COVID headlines, which are looking scarier and scarier by the minute lately.  Rather than talk about them, maybe I should post them and you can see for yourself, what I'm talking about. So here we go....

Eerily prescient 2020 plague novels  Summer reading suggestions?

Is it safe to stay in a hotel amid the coronavirus pandemic?  I don't know how safe it is or isn't. All I know is that since Aviva one of the biggest insurance companies in Canada won't insure hotels against COVID19, it can't be all that safe, or at least not in Aviva's estimations.

Movies delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, including 'Mulan,' 'Bill & Ted 3' and 'Tenet' This virus has to get into everything and cause a problem with everything. Doesn't it?

Seniors who struggle with technology face telehealth challenges and social isolation  Perhaps the younger generations can help the older ones adapt, learn and cope with the technology that is used for telehealth and keeping in touch remotely, before we go into lock down again. If necessary print out the procedures in numerical order of what to do first, 2nd and 3rd, in order to logon to computer or tablet (even explaining how many rapidly successive clicks or taps to use on which icons etc...) to get to a certain program or application in order to use it and then how to log off and shut it down again. If their memories are bad, forget setting it up with a password for logon or if one is absolutely required, make it a simple one and write it down for them.  Because as we age, some of us find it harder and harder to learn new things, never mind things to do with new technology, even just memorizing their own phone number if it's recently been changed can be a chore and a half for some. So help them out the best you can while you can get within an arm's reach of them, to help guide them through it the first time or two they use those things.

Four California teens create Covid-19 coloring book for children and raise money for charity  Good for them. It would be nice if more kids used initiative to do things of benefit to the wider community, whether that's something like these kids did, or just spend a few hours with seniors who live alone keeping them company and helping them with some of their harder chores like lawn mowing or snow shovelling and things like that.

How the coronavirus almost killed a healthy woman with "no normal symptoms"

Camper van rentals seeing business double during pandemic  If we could've afforded such a luxury I wouldn't have minded renting one and touring the province of Quebec. Yeah I've seen it pretty much from east to west along the TransCanada (highway 20) and parts of the Laurentians, but there's still a large swath of it I haven't seen and would love to see, while I still have my health. But alas camper rentals are only for the well to do and not for people like us.

Trump faces backlash after declaring most COVID-19 cases "harmless"  Well when you consider the amount of cases there are world-wide compared to the amount of deaths, you pretty much have to agree with him there. But the ones being swamped treating such cases and the ones suffering through a case of it, probably don't agree with him. But in all honestly it's just because of how contagious it is and how fast everyone's getting it - meaning all at the same time, so it looks worse than it is because of the sheer numbers of people coming down with it all at once. But when you look at the amount that came down with it, the amount that recovered and the amount that actually died from it, he's basically right.

COVID-19 patients will be ‘sent home to die’ if deemed too sick, Texas county says
Okay as a former nurse, this is just the height of idiocy if you ask me. You're going to send people who are so sick they'll die, home.  Okay for starters how are they going to get home? Obviously driving themselves are out of the question. So that means someone's going to have to take them  home. Who would that be then? A taxicab? An Uber cab? Maybe dear old dad, or maybe sonny boy? So you're going to risk exposing those people to someone who's so sick they're going to die, which means whoever gets exposed to them will probably wind up almost as sick if not as sick. That's besides all the other people that someone comes into contact with. Okay, now while we've been having that debate, the homeward bound conveyance has pulled into the driveway of the sick person's home. The sick person is helped out of the vehicle and into the house. If they live alone, they're already in quarantine and will probably die within hours as they won't be able to even get or do the most basic tasks for themselves like get to the bathroom unaided or get a drink of water on their own. If they aren't there by themselves and there's someone else who lives there and will be trying to take care of them, then while you're making plans with the undertaker for the patient that just came home, also make plans with the undertaker for all the others who also live in that house. Because that's the size of it. And if the others that live in that house have jobs outside the home get ready to make room in the hospitals for all their coworkers and family member as well. You want to talk about community spread and high death rates? Well that's the way to go in style!  To me it just seems like the whole world fell on their collective heads and knocked whatever few brains they had loose as soon as this pandemic began in Wuhan. This is just another classic example of that.

So I don't want to see or hear anymore bellyaching about "oh we're going to go bankrupt if the gov't doesn't let us fly soon". Because the way you are wrecklessly handling it, I hope you do go bankrupt.

Can You Get COVID Again? It's Very Unlikely, Experts Say  Huge huge relief to me and what I've basically been saying all along. And given that scenario, it's highly unlikely a vaccine will be needed by the time one is ready, because the majority of the population will have already either died from it or acquired immunity to it, naturally.

Constant Conflicting

Coronavirus Coverage...

June 19, 2020

One minute I think wow, it's going away and I won't have to spend so much time trying to stay on top of it for my blog and then the next, BAM! we're right back at it again, only this time it seems to be getting worse instead of better. And this is only the first wave of it. Wondering what the second wave will look like then or if we'll even survive the first one or not.

Then again there are so many conflicting reports, it's hard to know which ones to believe or disbelieve. And the more reports I read coming out of various places makes me question whether anyone in this pandemic knows what they're doing or what.

We might as well be back in the dark ages, hoping that if we all  hide in a dark room for 2 hours it'll go away on it's own, or say a few verses of incantations to cast away the evil spirits that are obviously causing this virus, it'll just disappear on it's own, for all the good all the means and methods tried have done so far.

The obvious one that would probably work, no one wants to try - and that is using antibodies from those who've had it, to inject in others as a means of inoculation against it. I don't know why they're so reluctant to try it out. What do they have to lose by trying? I'd say there's more to lose by not trying.

Or are they waiting for some nursing mothers who've already had the disease to masticate their teething baby's food for them before giving it to them to eat like they did in the old days when they discovered the mothers who had smallpox doing that and their kids  not getting smallpox as a result of it!?! I mean I have to wonder what's the delay and why no one is trying that yet?

And again my mind wonders back to what some of the more nefarious "reasons" might be, like collapsing the economies to rejig them afterwards, to culling the herd, to maybe even more nefarious reasons that are too dark to even contemplate.

I mean otherwise you'd think they'd be frothing and chafing at the bit, trying to get as many COVID survivors as they could to donate blood in order to make the plasma needed for the antibody serum to be administered to others to help them fight off and survive this ordeal.

Instead no, they're busy testing everything in the medicine cabinet to see what might work and what might not, which is how they found out about that medicine they mentionned the other day, which Canada apparently has none of.

Canada seems to be dismally ill prepared in everything. We don't have any of that medicine, we don't have any PPEs, we don't have any antibody testing kits, we don't have basically anything that might help us. So we're left at the whims and mercies  of this world. Basically that's it. So it's a wonder Canada isn't the epicenter of this virus for the entire universe.

Getting back to the matter at hand now....

Coronavirus: What will happen to pets after lockdown?  Hopefully, they'll still be kept, wanted and loved like they were during the lockdown.

What outdoor space tells us about inequality I wouldn't know about that. Some of the poshest penthouses in Montreal are near rooftop levels of skyscrapers with no balconies and no outdoor space at all - not even a parking space. And it's only the very rich that can usually afford such places, so I'm not buying that bunch of hogwash. Everything in life (including where and how you live) comes down to personal choices made along the way. If you chose to work at a certain company in a certain city but also chose not to buy a car and instead live near your work, so as a consequence were stuck with the least desirable locations and dwellings being within your budget and so chose to rent/buy that just because it's all you could afford, well that was a choice you made. It has nothing to do with affordability of a cleaner healthier lifestyle that affords at least a balcony if not a yard. There's lots of those around but you have to move out of the city to have those things usually and you usually can have them for the same price you're paying for your cramped ugly little shoebox of an apartment you're paying for in order to live close to your work. If you were willing to invest even in a used car and also commute time you could probably have a lot nicer place to live in in the suburbs or right outside the city in the fringes of the rural area. But you didn't want the commute, so you got what you chose. It has nothing to do with money because even in NY where she lives, there's penthouse apartments and condos that have no outside spaces either and I can assure you they're paying way more for their living quarters than she is.

Poll: Americans not buying White House spin on coronavirus Well considering some of it was super questionnable, that's good to know.

Coronavirus Cases Are Spiking & Experts Say Florida Has ‘All The Markings Of Next Epicenter’  I guess the guy that was wandering their beaches dressed like the  Grim  Reaper had it down pat and knew what was going to happen on account of their behaviour.

Early Data Show No Uptick in Covid-19 Transmission From Protests Good! I hope it continues to stay like! But if the uptick in Florida says anything, that might be that it might take awhile - like another week or two before you start seeing the cases flare up nationwide.

'Ring of fire' eclipse could be sign of apocalypse sending 'darkness over the Holy Land' Oh and they've tied this to coronavirus as well. All, I can say is wow. Just wow. Well in the event that it does end on Sunday the 21st, our whole family will be here together. So at least we'll get to go together if we have to go.  Though, I don't think that'll be the case. Let's just say I'd be very surprised if it were. But then again, these days and everything going on out there in relation to this virus, I'm not surprised by very much anymore.

As more people lean on online shopping, think twice about how you pay  I hate shopping online, because almost everytime I have, I haven't gotten what we ordered (and in fact didn't get anything at all, and not even a reimbursement) or what was sent was not as expected. So, I try to avoid it as much as possible but since most stores now-a-days rarely stock anything you actually want in their bricks & mortar locations and instead insist on you ordering it from their online site (which we refuse to do unless we have no choice as in it's something we need and there's no one else that has it), then in that case I use a prepaid credit card, even though my debit card acts like a credit card for ordering online, I refuse to use it for such.

Iceland now feels like the coronavirus never happened   Good for them! I hope they continue to remain virus free! But as we're seeing elsewhere they may not be so lucky.

Universities and high schools are readying high-tech ways to curb the spread of Covid-19  Wondering if the neon black lights we used to have in our more or less psychedelic days are the same? I mean we were told they were UV lights and they worked well for checking out the Winnipeg tagging on Canadian postage stamps, which required UV light to read them.

Will COVID become more dangerous? That's up to us, experts say  From the reports I've read from China, it seems like it's more dangerous or more contagious or something, but it's not the same as it was the first time around.

Mandatory mask laws are spreading in Canada But forcing people to wear those stupid homemade rags and surgical masks is utterly useless. They protect no one. If they want people to wear masks they should at least mandate the N95 masks as the bare minimum to use or else P100 masks. Those provide 100% protection against most toxins and pathogens in the air, both for the wearer and others in their milieu. N95 masks provide 95% protection and the others mentionned above provide 0% protection for anyone. They're a sham. Just placebos that's all.

Quebec eases restrictions at Quebec long-term care facilities, which have been hit hard by COVID-19  Finally! A glimmer of hope for those who've been the hardest hit by this virus and the pandemic lockdown.

Quebec drops physical distancing rules for children in daycares  They were basically unenforcable anyhow. I mean has any of these people making these rules ever tried to reason with a 2 and 3 year old and tell them they have to stay a certain distance away from their friends and caregivers? Even if you manage to tell them and ask them if they understand and they say yes, do you honestly think they do understand even though they said yes? That's to start.  Then do you think they'll remember those rules whenever they see the people they want to hug or play with? I mean the people making these rules have to have their heads in the clouds half the time I think, because they don't seem to understand the realities of certain situations.

Most Quebecers believe first wave of COVID-19 is over, survey finds Then I take it they don't understand the concept very well, because as long as there's new cases being reported everyday,  without let up, then it's not over.

Canada expected to see spike in divorces as courts reopen, lawyers say I would imagine so, after all the animosity and fights and maybe physical abuse  too, going on behind closed doors of quarters that are too close for some, it would be a surprise if there wasn't some.

Canada buying 140,000 blood tests to begin immunity testing of COVID-19 Ummm hello.... There's about 36 million of us in Canada. What's that going to do? That'll just barely test the population of say Regina maybe or Halifax, forget cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. So what about the rest of us?

Summer solstice sunrise to be streamed live from Stonehenge amid pandemic So all you modern day displaced Druids can still witness the summer solstice sunrise, even from remote earth locations, at this site: Stonehenge  Their Twitter Account.

Loneliness can directly impair immune system, increase risk of death: study Hmmmm.... I'm wondering if they knew this before they implemented the lockdowns? If they did, then were they also trying to kill off the lonely along with the elderly and immunodeficient?

UN: Venezuelans, other refugees face huge pandemic hardships Yes people there are other refugees besides Syrian refugees out there in the world, despite what one Canadian news corporation would have you believe. Guess which one that is?

This Father's Day, dads have new respect for duties at home   I would hope that besides doing the easy work, of playing with and keeping kids amused and busy, and helping with school work, that they have pitched in and helped the wife with the really hard work or tiring work like scrubbing floors and handprints off of walls, helped with the spring cleaning, did the dishes or loading of the dishwasher, maybe fold the laundry to put it away and things like that. Because honestly sitting on the floor playing games or combing hair and helping with homework (especially kids in elementary school - unless the father's a totally uneducated boob himself) is not hard work. Those are the easy chores that most women would prefer to do and trade the other chores with their husbands for those anyday of the week & twice on Sundays.

Italian university allows staff to bring pets to work to help cope with post-lockdown stress  Why not? Most university students love having pets around - it alleviates their stress and anxieties too, having a pet (even if it's a prof's pet) around to provide some zootherapy for them.

Nursing homes represent more than 1 in 4 COVID-19 death  I've heard figures for Quebec, that puts those deaths at between 80% - 95% of all COVID deaths in Quebec.

How to stay connected, while Canadians remain divided over going back to the office It would probably be a lot better for most involved and the environment as well, if they didn't go back to the office and instead continued to work from home.

World Health Organisation's chief declares 'new and dangerous phase' of the pandemic after 150,000 cases in a single day - the highest since the start of the crisis  It's headlines like this that makes me question whether or not anyone in power anywhere has any idea on what's going on and how to treat and stop this virus - hence my references to medieval methods of dealing with viruses above.

Georgia nurses accuse hospital of manipulating COVID-19 test results That's weird.  Given all the other news about incorrect and falsifications coming out of the US in regards to this virus, it's usually the reverse, where they want to increase the number of COVID cases and deaths so they can get more funds because they apparently get more money if they are dealing with COVID (for extra equipment and PPEs) and not the reverse.

Oak Park Woman Says She Contracted Coronavirus Twice We've been through this explanation before.... Like possibly not having recovered fully the first time around or false negative tests or even maybe like some people have relapses of the flu.

Your Coronavirus Antibodies Might Fade After Just a Few Months Again, "might, maybe, could be, should be, would be" are all possibilities in the future and the only way for us to know for sure is wait for the future in question to arrive.

Illinois Coronavirus Updates: Unique COVID-19 Strain in Chicago, Indoor Dining Plan  Now that is interesting that a city has it's own unique strain of COVID. I wonder if that's true of other places as well?

We Will Be Living With the Coronavirus Pandemic Well Into 2021 Boy! I certainly hope not! I'm not sure I can keep on top of it all for that long.

TSA didn’t do enough to protect passengers, staff from coronavirus, whistleblower says I wonder what's the case in Canadian airports?

The emerging face of COVID: Younger patients, more cases, but fewer deaths Maybe that's because of all the close contact that ensued when lockdown started easing up.

Quebec residents show lowest mental health impact from COVID-19  This is something to be proud of everyone! We do seem to be doing quite well, or else we're all really good at hiding it from everyone else!

Pandemic erases Quebec's projected surplus, throws province into $15B deficit

New CERB bill is punitive for low-income workers: economist Well I guess that was to be expected considering Trudeau's track record with the homeless, poor, disabled, sick and elderly. He has a habit of kicking them while they're down and the maybe coming back a little later and stomping on their fingers or something.

COVID-19 is worse than a bad flu season, despite online claims to the contrary  Really? Maybe they'd like to compare actual figures from a really bad flu season (assuming they can find world wide records for a single bad flu season - which so far I've been unable to find, but even still just the US figures alone speak volumes on that score) to the figures from this plandemic. Because I think the elementary school drop outs that masquerade as journalists at CBC might discover something if they actually do the research themselves and don't just rely on Tam's and Trudeau's and the WHO's say so. And the epidemiologist that they quoted said quoting now: She also cautioned that some influenza deaths may not be recorded as such.  ....... Conversely, the COVID figures are overly exagerated in a lot of cases, considering they're lumping everything including head trauma as COVID for the cause of death. So there's lying one way and then lying in the opposite direction both are at odds with each other and the truth.

Saskatchewan reports more COVID-19 cases, guidelines for schools

Food scarcity is on the rise in America as the economy reels After reading the story about the bogus meat shortages the other day, I'm not so sure I believe this one. It's probably another ruse being foisted off on the public in order to get some kind of special privilege in law from the gov't or to justify needless price hikes.

Montreal Malls Finally Reopen

Coronavirus’s spread is slowing, but one expert warns: ‘I worry about the fall’  Not according to the WHO who reported 150,000 cases in one day recently.

Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport unveils new health measures  This should've been done since the beginning of the year when the Chinese gov't announced the virus in Wuhan. Maybe then we wouldn't have been in this mess.  So many people fell down on the job and put Cdns lives at risk, it's just unbelievable.

Wow! For once I am totally caught up and up to date on all the Coronavirus news out there!
