Shopping, Errands, Canning & ....

Covid19

August 25, 2020

Wow, things are changing fast out there, as in getting back to "normal", or whatever will pass for that from now on, I guess. I mean today was the first time I've been able to actually pay a bill at the bank rather than calling the phone center to do it. That was unexpected and refreshing, to say the least.

Then we went shopping for more of that meat that my husband spent the day the other day butchering, because our son decided he wanted some too. So we went and got that and a couple of the ingredients I was missing for the planned zucchini relish.

While I was waiting in the car while my husband got the meat, I was listening to the news on the radio and well it just seems to me, like things aren't anywhere near as bad as they thought they'd be, or else they ran into a few problems with their nefarious plans and so won't be implementing them anytime soon, so are backing down and away on the various controls and measures to keep tabs on us etc....

Like now the QC said they won't be using a contact tracing app for it's population, the QC education minister basically thinks it's alright for kids to go to school without masks on for much of the day and they're starting to clue into the fact that many people don't want the vaccination. And are they starting to clue  into the fact that not as many people believe their BS and so are not as scared as they were? So they're not as controllable anymore as they were in the beginning? Is that what's happening here?

Are they waiting until things are just about ready to be implemented and then there'll suddenly be a big bad scary 2nd wave that they keep talking about? Is that what they're going to use to clamp down on us, track & trace us and vaccinate us forcibly or else we won't be allowed out of quarantine until we succumb to their BS? Is that what's planned now instead of dragging this "1st wave scare tactic" on forever? That they'll let up and let things return to normal (or what they'll allow for the sake of the charade to pass for normal) until they're near ready to implement the 2nd part of this great reset of theirs and then suddenly they clamp down on everyone and everything to ensure we all get the vaccination (that probably contains Gates' digital currency chip in it).

That's what I was thinking about when I heard the news about how laid back the gov't seems to be getting over this whole thing now. Like they're getting ready to drop the whole thing for the time being at least - but still hanging the 2nd wave over our heads like a rotting bucket of stinking fish getting ready to drop on us any time now.

Anyhow, after we finished supper I made, and managed to get 6 - 500ml jars & 1 - 250ml jar of zucchini relish from.  I had  a taste of the leftover floating pieces that I suppose I could've made another small jar of it from, but I don't have any decent sieves to use for dumping something that's going to be in a jar for a long time through to get rid of most of the liquid. So what's left of it, looks like zucchini relish soup, but a really thin soup. So I had a taste of that to see if it tastes good and it's yummy, just the way I always remembered it being. If you wish to get the recipe see the previous post - it has a link to the recipe itself.

Sooooooooo...... anywho.... I guess I should get on with it.... So here's the headlines I'll be posting today....

Antiviral clothing is on the rise: Can it protect you from COVID-19?  Not unless you're wearing it over your nose & mouth, since COVID19 is a respiratory disease and spread by aerosols in the air that you breathe in.

More infectious coronavirus mutation may be 'a good thing', says disease expert  Is it merely more infectious or also more deadly?

Sharon Stone endorses Joe Biden, says 'don’t vote for a killer' after sister catches COVID-19  Nothing like a liberal Hollywood type in panic mode over her sister, for hyperbole.

Japan's pandemic woes unravel benefits of 'Abenomics'  Economies the world over are having their surpluses and positive benefits wiped out on account of this "virus". Maybe if the powers that be did things the right way - instead of locking everyone down, they locked down only the sick & contacts of the sick like is the right way and normal way of doing things, everyone's economy would still be humming along fine. But when it's the WEF, and not the WHO who was invited to that convention held by the Gates Foundation in Wuhan about pandemics, what can you expect? It was planned and contrived in order to crash the economies. There's no other logical, valid explanation for the way they handled it than that and given that the  World Economic Forum, were the ones invited to "Event 201"- who have SFA to do with health issues and oversee economic issues instead, that has to be the case.

Daughter of coronavirus victim speaks at DNC: 'His only pre-existing condition was trusting Donald Trump'  Wondering how many Canadians have died from this virus who's only pre-existing conditions were trusting Trudeau?

Pandemic accelerates power shift in fashion, advertising Fashion? You call what was pictured there "fashion"? What kind of "fashion" might that be anyhow? The slovenly slob fashion? The wobby-eye fashion where they can't figure out what to wear and what might or might not go together? The "too lazy to care" fashion? What???? I'm sorry but I didn't see any "fashion" there.

Parliament prorogued until Sept. 23 as Trudeau government reels from WE Charity controversy  Long term plan on recovering from the pandemic to be laid out then eh? That little dirt bag has a hard time planning what to have for breakfast without his wife's & mother's help, so I seriously doubt he'll be able to handle anything as complicated as that.

What if 'Herd Immunity' is Closer Than Scientists Thought?   I'm sure it is, considering it's been around a lot longer than most "scientists" will admit. It's been here in QC at least since the Christmas holidays of 2019. So if it was here then, it's been around a lot longer than we've been told, ergo probably a lot more people have had or been exposed to it already than anyone knows or will admit to knowing (lets put it that way as there's so many lies about this virus going around, it's unreal).

Texas Just Hit 10,000 COVID Deaths, and It’s ‘Flying Blind’   Wow! Our whole country Canada hasn't hit that number yet! (knocking on wood).

COVID-19 complications: High oxygen flow from ventilators changes microbiota, makes lungs vulnerable to damage This kind of goes along with what the nurse said in that post of hers that I copied and pasted into my blog - click on label in sidebar entitled "The truth about COVID19 intubations & hospital treatment that everyone should know", to read it.

South African smokers empty shops of cigarettes after ban lifted  Good idea, it's always good to have as many cigarettes as you can possibly hoard during a respiratory pandemic. You never know when you'll need to cough and hack your way into a hospital bed and be intubated.

COVID-19 may trigger autoimmune disease myasthenia gravis which leads to extreme muscle weakness and fatigue  And what else may it trigger or cause? It seems like the list is endless already. I mean we're getting pretty close to the end of diseases and conditions that afflict humans, that this aggravates, triggers or causes, it seems like.

Coronavirus vaccine: Australia secures access to Oxford-AstraZeneca trial  I would want this vaccine if I were to have one, but only if Gates had absolutely nothing to do with it. No funding, no additives of his own, no nothing, because Astra-Zeneca seems to be a good pharmaceutical company.

The troubling ways a heatwave can warp your mind   Ahhhhh don't worry.... They've found a way to tie-in COVID19 to this story too.

Perhaps it time we took some advice from books such as this: Blueprint for Revolution  an epub downloadable at the longfiles link.

Coronavirus vaccine should be mandatory in Australia: PM   Guaranteed, if they make it mandatory there, they'll make it mandatory here too.

Mystery grows over virus spread via contaminated food packaging Is it the packaging and/or the actual food inside the package too? I read another story that said frozen food was contaminated with the virus but they didn't mention anything to do with packaging.  But I would assume that if there's contaminated meat it will contaminate the machines that package it too or the handlers of the meat and packaging if done by humans.

Dr. Fauci is 'cautiously optimistic' that by the end of 2021 there will be enough coronavirus vaccine shots for all Americans  By then you won't be needing it, because all Americans will either have had it and be immune to it, or be dead. So don't bother.

Canada's economic growth seen outpacing U.S. as virus containment pays off  We'd have been blazing along like we were on warp drive if Tam, Haggydo & Trudeau didn't let the virus in in the first place and then impose lockdowns and used normal quarantine measures instead,  in the 2nd place.

Trudeau unsure about sending his kids to school, as poll suggests he's not alone  If the schools aren't safe enough for his kids, then they're not safe enough for anyone's kids.

P.E.I. food banks to receive 75 pallets of food through federal food surplus program That's good. I'm sure there will be a lot of grateful people there.

Covid-19 Pounds New York Real Estate Worse Than 9/11, Financial Crash I can't say as I blame the people wanting to move out of there. I can't stand city living anymore and could barely stand it when I lived in them.  I much prefer the "country air", greenery, (in my case, seeing the water), the quietness, the breezes/wind that moves uninhibited through the area, the heat being dissipated instead of accumulating causing the area to be hotter than it should be if there weren't so much cement around etc... Not to mention less noise, traffic, crime etc...

Movers in N.Y.C. Are So Busy They’re Turning People Away  Just to reinforce what the other article above said.

Sweden has recorded its highest death toll since a famine swept through the country 150 years ago  Euuuu that's not good. Let's hope he's right about the 2nd wave & his country, then.

Coronavirus AstraZeneca Vaccine: Those Who Refuse Should Have Freedoms Restricted, Says Sydney Doctor  Like I was talking about in the "prolog" of this post. Only it makes no sense to restrict freedoms of those who refuse if 90% of the population gets the vaccine.  But it makes you wonder why and what's in the damned vaccination that they want you to have it so bad.... Is it Bill Gates Digital Currency Chip maybe?

Another Article About

Coronavirus Headlines

June 3, 2020

Hopefully, maybe this time I'll be able to get through all the headlines without insanity erupting again, so I can give my husband's computer back to him and transition onto my now fixed computer.

But for the most part the insanity going on in the US due to riots and the gov't backlash and all the stuff to do with that, unless it has some direct relation to COVID19, it will be ignored here, since my goal is to cover the important COVID19 news here and not everything happening out there in the world. I can't do that, as it's  not humanly possible for one person to do on their own anyhow and second it would make finding the stuff to do with COVID19 or seniors (help for them), difficult to find.

It's already difficult enough finding a single specific story in here as it is. I try to label everything so that you could find it by clicking on the label in the right hand column, but so many articles fall under the same label that even that's becoming difficult now. And the Label option in the post settings here doesn't allow for many labels per post, nor very descriptive ones either as the whole labels settings per post is limited to 200 characters. So that means I have to be very succinct when trying to decide the label/s to use and a term that would cover as many as possible of similar type articles. Like say 3-4 different articles where one is talking about the stock market, another about store closures, another about food prices and another about job losses. If I were to use a label for each like "stocks drop", "store closures", "inflation" and "unemployment" you can see how I'd be using up my 200 character limit really quickly on just those 4 stories, mentionned in a single post, so I choose "economy" to cover all four stories. But by doing that it makes it hard for anyone to find any one of those particular stories.  I apologize for that, but I have no other choice because that's the way this blog site's software works.

Now on with it....

A cluster of islands: How Shetland locked down early and stopped the virus in its tracks This is what everyone should've done instead of fuming over a few hurt feelings from the Chinese.

Florida charter school holds graduation ceremony on jet skis What an awesome graduation ceremony! I just hope their diplomas were either printed with waterproof ink, or that they didn't get wet.

Will a Covid-19 vaccine signal an end to the anti-vaccine movement?  That's doubtful especially if Bill Gates is involved in that vaccine in any way shape or form.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth, 94, pictured horseback riding during lockdown It's good to see she's still alive and kicking.

Ditching the water cooler: Coronavirus will transform office life  Yup especially if most offices close down and all  office work is done at home.

Lifelines in the Lockdown  When it comes down to it, some of the most valuable people in society are at the bottom of the pay scales, or near the bottom.

Surviving an Unlivable Wage That's probably true all across North America and not just in the US.

Strange symptoms, flare-ups, weeks-long illnesses for some COVID-19 survivors And we know all those things are related to COVID19 how?  Or is this just more of throw everything under the COVID19 umbrella so we (meaning the hospital or clinic that's treating it) can get increased funding?

The world reacts as American cities erupt in anger over George Floyd's death While I'm positive a lot does have to do with Mr. Floyd's death, I'm also positive that a lot has to do with pent up rage at prolonged lockdowns, loss of livelihoods, poverty, hunger etc... as well and Mr. Floyd's death was the catalyst for unleashing that rage/protest world-wide, as it is doing in the US itself.

Tribe of marauding monkeys stuns locals by observing perfect social distancing Now I don't know about the contention that they were taught. Maybe they're doing that because they're observing that in the society they live in/near and so are mimicking it. You know like the old saying goes "monkey see, monkey do".  But still it's cute and makes for an interesting coronavirus related story.

Temporary foreign worker dies due to COVID-19 as disease hits southwestern Ontario farms hard You know this nonsense of needing to keep finding excuses to let foreigners into this country has to stop now, if we're ever going to beat this virus, because the more people we let in the more it'll continue. Doesn't matter the reason they're being let in. Close the border to everyone once and for all and get it over with. Meantime there's a lot of students who would've been willing to work this summer if Santa Trudeau didn't dole out a ton of money one day on his steps like he did.

States brace for disasters as pandemic collides with hurricane season Oh boy they're getting clobbered with everything all at once aren't they! IF as I suspect is the reason - that they were behind the coronavirus release in China in conjunction with the Gates Foundation and the WEF, and here too in North America (as they had to have been for it to be here so early) - then you might say this is "just rewards", getting clobbered with the virus, hurricane, & tornado season along with race riots and unbridled rage at the lockdowns and all, all at the same time. They asked for it, if what I surmise to be the case is true.

Ottawa to become 1st Canadian city to make masks 'mandatory' on transit For all the good they do. If you cough or sneeze forcefully your mask isn't protecting anyone and we already know your mask doesn't protect you from anyone. So the point of those masks again is?????

China orders firms to stop buying U.S. farm goods  I guess the truth hurts. Sounds like maybe what the US has been saying about China and the virus might have some truth in it.

Coronavirus: Father-of-eight jailed for stealing £30,000 of PPE to sell on eBay All I have to say about that guy is he's about as dumb as he looks. He looks like the village idiot and for him to have 8 kids that's just sad having that many village idiots in the gene pool like that. So it's good he got caught at least he won't be able to be doing any more procreating with his bunkmates inside.

ICU doctor warns: 'We could lose control of the virus again' You think? Could? I think in this case you can say Will. We will lose control of the virus again, especially given all the rallies and riots where everyone was standing on top of everyone else without any masks, yelling, screaming, chanting and just breathing heavy due to excitement and exertion (like from throwing things or running). Not to mention all the beach and park parties everyone was having before the riots broke out. So yeah I think it's pretty much a no-brainer to say we will lose control of the virus again.

'This could implode': The dangers of hyping up a coronavirus vaccine Well if one is never made, it will implode for sure. If one is made but it doesn't live up to expectations (in that it only provides immunity for a limited amount of time, or has major side effects, or doesn't work on a large minority of people - say about 30% or so), it'll also implode.

Why looting, protests and COVID-19 haven't pounded the stock market Because they're overly cautious in some things (like when COVID was still thought to be only in China, our stock markets in North America were terrified and so they were dropping) and oblivious to others, like the riots and looting going on there now. But I don't think the markets ever reacted to things like that before either.

Black and Asian people in England more likely to die from COVID-19, says report Just in England? Or could this be true the world over? If it's true the world over then was this a bio-weapon designed to cut down on specific populations, along with the elderly from all racial groups?

Couples 'should wear masks while having sex' amid coronavirus pandemic, experts advise What about mitts, socks and hats too? Or how about whole body suits and masks so the only things exposed are eyes and foreheads. Ah but better wear safety googles too because you know, the coronavirus can enter the body via the eyes and attack them too.  I mean what kind of nonsense is this anyhow?

Greek tourism minister says all foreign visitors welcome Personlly I find it rather wreckless that any country would open their borders to others this early on. I know the companies in the tourist industry and planes desperately would like it to open up again, but I'm not sure we're there yet.

COVID-19 in Canada: Ontario considering loosening restrictions on patios, ‘bubbling’ of contacts
Why not? They've probably already stood, lied and sat all over each other park picnics and rallies by now anyhow.

Canada's Trudeau, backed by rivals for now, has little chance to cash in on popularity boost

Negative interest rates could be needed for a 'V' recovery, Fed economist says  I guess if they do that that old 1930s depression era style of saving money under the mattress will return.

Coronavirus: Ibuprofen tested as a treatment Personally, I've never trusted Ibuprofen. I've heard too many horror stories in relation to taking it. So have never taken it and won't even when it's prescribed. I'll find an over the counter substitute before I put one of those poison pills in my mouth.

Coronavirus: How lockdown affected Argentina's livelihoods  I have a friend who lives in Argentina, and we've been in touch with each other on the net since the late 1990s and I can tell you that the tale of woe I heard from her in 2001 when their economy went under was way more scary and drastic than what she's telling me about the way the virus is being handled and how it's affecting them now. Basically it sounds about the same there as here. The long lines, the masks, the distancing, the washing hands, the lockdowns etc... So it doesn't really sound any worse than we have it. At least not from her personal perspective and what she's telling me. Of course like everywhere, there are people better situated to ride things out in life, compared to others in the same country, whether that's pandemics or economic crashes or what it is.

JCPenney, Tuesday Morning, Pier 1 going-out-of-business liquidation sales different because of COVID-19

Cooking during coronavirus? Best substitutes for recipe ingredients such as milk, eggs or oil As we're not under such strict lockdown now and we can get out to more stores and so on, maybe this is irrelevant, at least for the time being. But wait another 3 weeks from now when we'll be under lockdown again because of the resurgence of the first wave that never really left and flared up again because of all the socializing on beaches & in parks and getting in each others faces at rallies and riots. Then you'll endure another 50 day lock down during which time you may need this info.

Is social distancing good for your dating life?  It's always been a good idea whether in Victorian times or now to try to get to know each other at least a little bit before hopping into bed with each other, if you want a lasting relationship, otherwise your relationship won't be based on anything more than lust and when that's faded so will your relationship be faded.

What nudists do during a lockdown  You know this didn't even cross my mind about what they do during lockdown until I saw this article. I didn't even know we needed to know hence why there'd even be an article about it.... But alas here we are. Just another weird angle on this virus and the lockdown.

1918 + 1929 + 1968 = 2020 I know the math doesn't add up, but the historical events do. Just another one of those "different" kinds of coronavirus headlines.

Is Travel Restricted Within Canada During The COVID-19 Pandemic? It’s Complicated. You'd better believe it's complicated. It's much easier just to pitch a tent in your own backyard, that way you know you're allowed there and that the toilet will always be open to you for your use (since it's inside your house) and if you have your own pool, that the swimming facilities aren't restricted etc.... Yeah I know it's not really a change of scenery but in a way it is. I mean how many nights have you spent sleeping in your tent in your backyard already? If you say none, then it's definitely different than sleeping in your bedroom or at your favourite campground where you've gone year after year.

Prince Charles calls on world leaders to learn from the coronavirus outbreak: 'We simply can’t waste more time' Yup he's calling it the "Great Reset" scheduled to begin in January 2021 (6 months from now) in collusion with the WEF. Who incidentally was in collusion with the Gates Foundation and the US Military at a forum in Wuhan China in October last year at a conference talking about what would happen in the next great pandemic. Then what'd'ya know.... A few weeks later the next great pandemic is born in the very city where it was discussed by those collaborators named above. Now they want to have a "Great Reset"... Wondering what that's going to entail.... I'm sure we'll all be told we have to live in a hut with no utilities whatsoever (unless it's from clean energy) or have anything unless it's 1000% green (in other words no decent clothes only fig leaves allowed) but they'll still be flitting around the planet cranking out pollutants by the tons in their private jets wearing their swanky million dollar custom tailored suits, guzzling champagne and chomping down tons of caviar.  I have a clue how all this NWO autocracy works. It's do as I say and not as I do, or else.

Teachers, parents want more details on proposed summer school for children with learning challenges  Well I don't blame the teachers for wanting more info on it. My son who was teaching adults in 3d design courses, part time, is now teaching less hours, for the same pay as before but he says he's swamped in work now now even compared to before when he was teaching more hours. He thinks because of the online component it's basically doubled the hours he was doing before. He thought when he was informed that he'd be teaching fewer hours than he was but making the same amount that that would be a good thing. Except he says it's created way more unpaid work for him than he had before. Before it was just grading students work after hours that he wasn't being paid for, now it's all the arrangements he has to make in order to make sure each student did and understands the work and being limited in flexibility of what the software they're using to connect to each other with can do etc... And these aren't special ed kids with learning difficulties these are adult students in post secondary courses.

Instead we systematically get shipped off to the horse hospital elsewhere in the province where it's further away and impossible to get to without your own car. I was not only surprised that they could do that, but angry that they did.

But knowing that Trudeau lacks a spine, do you honestly think he'll speak up on our behalf when whoever takes control of that vaccine does and decides that their people are the first ones and maybe only ones (depending on quantity made) who get it? I don't. I think he'll just shut up, sit down and take it like he does with the Chinese. And then spend the next 5 years pandering to the ones that took control of it, in hopes of seeing some of us it for us.  That's how he operates.
