GOGGLE HAS DESTROYED MY ABILITY TO DO THIS BLOG WITH THEIR NEW EDITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, well wow.... This new blog editor might take some getting used to. It took a little while to figure the last editor out, because Google Blogger isn't big on help that's for sure. They tell you if you want to use the old editor to just "Revert to Legacy Blogger" without telling you where or how to do that. Trust me I've been all over the place looking for "revert to legacy blogger" and haven't found even an inkling of it, or where it could be.  So if this post and future posts look a little wonky, that's why and I apologize in advance. Maybe eventually they'll be alright if I can figure things out fast enough.

Apparently whatever labels I have already are the ones I'm stuck with forever, even if there's new categories associated with this virus and as there always seems to be something new associated with it, the labels are going to be rather limited and outdated fast. That's for one thing. Which I don't like already. 😝

But there seems to be additional options that I don't remember being in the "legacy blogger", whether there are or not, or if it's just my imagination, I can't be sure. Will I use them or not? I don't know. If I want uniformity in the blog, probably not, but if I want to mix things up a bit, maybe. Who knows?

Anyhow.... I'll see over time at least, how well I like or dislike, this new blogger thing a ma jig.

So now that I've wrestled with the new heading feature and the centerization feature and finding the pic that goes at the top of the page (the emoji was basically the same as before), let's see how the link feature works or if it does work....

SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!! I CANNOT DO THE BLOG LIKE THIS AT ALL WITH JUST RAW URLS & NO TEXT TO LINK TO THE URLS!!!!! NO SENIOR CITIZENS ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO READ LET ALONE UNDERSTAND THE URLS. WHAT HAPPENED TO LINKING TEXT TO THE URLS EH GOGGLE?????????????

Just to show you an example of what I'm talking about, I will post a link as I am able to do now and then show you what the link looked like in the other editor (which you should know as you've seen thousands of them in this blog by now) but just so you know what I'm talking about in case you're not sure.

Link as they would look now - using an actual link to an actual story:

Now how the links USED to look before they changed their way of doing it to this new idiotic way:

'New Normal' Emerges for Companies Navigating Covid-19 Pandemic

Only it was in blue with an underline underneath it like the link in blue above, BECAUSE IT WAS A LINK to the story that the link above was to, but much easier to read and understand for a senior.

If they insist on doing it the wobby eyed GEEKY way where you have to be a GEEK to understand the URL you're clicking on and know that it's something you actually want to read before going there, only to find out it's not exactly the type of article you thought you were going to read, because you didn't understand the URL gobbledy gook, then I have to quit doing this because my intended target audience is not going to wade through URL geekiola like that.

Anyhow, until or unless they fix that feature for linking articles to the titles of the articles like before, I quit, because it'll just be a colossal waste of my time to continue, considering the audience this is directed towards. So without further ado, I bid you all adieu and hope that you all stay safe, and well informed on the virus and all the stupid legalities and laws that change not only from day to day but second to second sometimes. In the meantime if any or all of you wish to get get on Goggle's case about this faux pas of theirs of not allowing the article titles to be displayed for the URL links, then be my guests. The more the merrier.
