As you might've guessed by the title of this post, there's been a lot going on in our lives since I last posted.

For one thing our son brought a brand new computer all set up with Windows 10 and all my favourite programs on it for me last weekend. His father, who is also my husband, bought the hardware and software for it, for me, and our son put it together for me. His father used to build, upgrade and repair computers once upon a time, but now he has a hard time with fine print (like the fine print found printed on circuit boards and chips) and so can't find certain things like jumpers and things like that. As for installing software, he never did. We, as in me, and our kids (when they were old enough and able to do so themselves) installed our own software on the computers we used. But our son figured since he had the parts to put together in usable form and the software too, he might as well do everything. I love it! I even got this funky neat beautiful keyboard - my husband set it up so it constantly segues from one colour to the next, through the entire rainbow. The reflection of which I can see in the black frame of the monitor, while I type. My husband one of the few chivalrous men I know of, actually lent me full time his computer for the entire year and a half I was without one of my own. I used that without a glitch, from before the time I started this blog, right up until my last post on it - which is literally the last post before this one that I'm currently writing.

Earlier this week my husband felt like taking me out to dinner at one of our favourite restaurants around here. So we went out and had a couple of drinks and I had a nice calamari dinner, while he had his favourite meal at that restaurant. When we left, he forgot his prescription reading/computer glasses on the table. But we didn't know that. He thought he left them on this table or in that pocket or in that catch all or on that bureau or desk, or wherever. Even in the car, under the car seats, in the shed, in the garage and everywhere else than the restaurant. I thought he left them at the restaurant, because I'd made a mental note that he finally took his reading glasses with him to the restaurant so he could read the menu himself and not ask me to read it to him, but he refused to accept that he might've forgotten them there and continued to look for them all over the place the next day, with no luck. Finally a day later he asked me to call the restaurant to see  if he left them there. The lady that answered said our waitress wasn't working that day and to call back the following day as she didn't know if she found/had the glasses or not and if she did, what she might've done with them. So I did. I called back the next day and our waitress answered the phone and said yes she had the glasses. So I said okay we'll be by later on to get them and she said okay she'll have them ready for us.

But first I had to go for a boat ride with my friend. She has a boat and has been asking me all summer long to go for a ride in it with her and I kept saying it was too hot (because I can't take the heat), so yesterday she said the heat wasn't an excuse anymore, so do I want to go or not. So I agreed to go, because I have nothing against boat rides per se. I mean I am from Nova Scotia - a maritime province and lived literally within a 5 minute walking distance from the shore at one house and at the house where I was a toddler and basically grew up there, almost in the marsh. I mean high tide used to bring the water right up to the edge of our property (and my mother was always so terrified she'd lose me in it or in the marsh grass - which was in something akin to quick sand - but mucky and the grass was obviously taller than me - in fact taller than a lot of people when you come to think about it). So boats and water are my thing, just not in the glaring hot sun. Because if you know anything about QC weather and NS weather, it's much different. QC weather is super hot and humid and NS weather is generally foggy, & cool and even when it's sunny it's rarely ever hot and humid like it is here in the summertime. So since the conditions were ideal for a nice boat ride without risking being boiled alive in the boat, I agreed to go with her.

But there was a matter of making down into the boat and back out of the boat to deal with too.

See I had a dislocated knee for 4 years that I was forced to hobble around on, due to idiots and imbeciles masquerading as doctors in our area. In fact the so-called doctor that finally decided to send me to a specialist only did so at my exasperated request that he do so after he said he didn't know what to do about it. Then he sent me to another idiot in a lab coat that has the audacity to call himself an orthopedic specialist, but couldn't recognize a dislocated knee when he saw one and refused to  help me at all. He didn't even want to try to massage the knee back into joint (which is what they normally try first before resorting to other methods). So I asked if he could at least send me to see a physio therapist and he said flat out no, until my husband offered to dislocate both of his knees for him (when you see my husband in comparison to that little dweeb, you'd know he could do it too, no problem). Then he offered to give me 1 session of 10 minutes. The poor physio therapist didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she saw that. She threw her hands up in exasperation and said well there's not a lot of exercises I can show you in 10 minutes so I'll give you the 2-3 most important exercises so you can get your knee back in joint and be able to walk. So I can walk. If I wind up on the ground somehow, either by falling, or sitting, then I can't get up off the ground without help from someone or something (like something stationary - like a heavy chair, or a tree trunk or something that won't move when I grab a hold and pull on it).

So you will understand after that digression, about the chivalrous men who helped me down into the boat and back out of it again. Getting into the boat was like a perilous walk down a steep slope peppered with slippery clay and large rocks with nothing but large boulders at the bottom of it all piled in a mish mash pattern on top of each other. Tilted hither and yon and half balanced in precarious angles atop another one balanced in the same fashion atop the one beneath and so on.... Just a wonder land for someone with limited range of motion in one leg and deteriorated hamstring muscles in both legs, because of the 4 initial years of not being able to use them and then all subsequent years of not being able to use them due to lack of physio therapy for that purpose after the 1st 4 years of not using them. So my friend's husband helped me down that treacherous slope to the wharf, where I was able to manage on my own after that. Poor guy, I had a death grip on his hand all the way down. It must've taken him an hour or more to get the blood circulation back in his hand again, after that.

After getting in the boat my friend took me on an awesome boat ride for a few hours. We visited the whole region by water and almost went near Montreal, but we were close enough to it, that if either of us had've had a camera with us we'd have had an awesome picture of some of the most recognizable buildings in Montreal and all of the downtown core. She invited me for another boat ride before she has to pull the boat out of the water for the winter (which will be soon, soon, soon, because the water is rapidly cooling off to the point where it'll be too cold for them to get into the water in order to pull the boat out), so maybe if I don't forget I'll bring my camera then and take pictures - maybe I'll even post one in the blog. You never know.....

When we got back home, she docked at the neighbour's wharf to let me out there, but because of all the things in the way, I couldn't stand up straight to get out of the boat on my feet and I had to crawl out on my hands and knees. What a riot. I tried and tried and tried to get up on my own two feet, and the man who's the owner of that property (the one with the Wings of Victory statue) came to help. So with his help I got back on my feet again and then he's walking this tightrope kind of ledge beside me (on the rocky water side) until I asked him why he was walking there and he said so I don't fall, and I said if I do, he's going to go down along with me. So he said okay he'll get behind me and he stayed behind me until I was up safely in his driveway on flat ground again.

I'm telling you anyone who says chivalry is dead, hasn't met our neighbours!

So the next time I go for a boat ride with her, she's agreed to meet me at a public wharf that I can just walk out onto and get in her boat and when we return I can just stand up directly in the boat and step up onto the wharf.

I just got into the house and my husband asked if we were going to go get his glasses at the restaurant and if I wanted to have a pizza at the restaurant with him. I said give me a few minutes to relax - as my legs were shaking and I had to catch my breathe (that was super hard work for me and even now I feel it in my hamstring muscles). So we went to the restaurant again and had the same waitress as before and he got his glasses back.

In between all that time, I started working on making a heart shaped flower wreath (it's going to have more spring/summer kind of flowers in it then fall coloured flowers though so maybe it's a little late in the year for it, but what the heck we need colour and prettiness all year long, don't we?). It's coming along nicely. I still have more work to do on it though before I can hang it up in the front windows.  Ergo the craft items picture above.

As it's the last weekend of summer, I guess it's getting to be about time we take the air conditioners out of the windows too, especially since it's forecast to be quite cool a few nights coming up this week.

Although we've already voted in the advance polls, Canada has an election coming up on Monday. I do have a preferred leader/party in mind to take over, but that's not likely to happen, even though I wish it would. It would be nice to have a leader/party in power that cared more for the population than they do businesses. But what the F, that's what this country was founded on, a business - Hudson's Bay Trading Company to be precise. Well isn't that why navies and militaries were invented? To protect the interests of the companies and traders and those looking for more valuable resources - once upon a time that was beaver pelts and spices, now it's evolved into things like oil and valuable minerals. But that's what countries have always seemed to value more than their own citizens lives and quality thereof. Well it would be nice for a change if the companies and business interests took a back seat to the interests of the actual citizens that live in those countries, instead. So I guess most Canadians who read this can already figure out who I'm for and against. But it doesn't matter who wins, so long as bozo brains doesn't win and that whoever does win, grabs him and throws him in a holding cell to await trial on all of his various crimes, starting with the biggest ones, genocide, senecide and treason, the crimes of embezzlement and whatever he did with SNC Lavelin are minor compared to those. So get him for those more serious ones first, and the others afterwards.

Now that my "journalling" aspect of this blog is finished, I guess I ought to get on with posting the headlines of this insanely rampaging virus, that only keeps getting worse and worse as more and more people get vaccinated against it. Just doesn't make any sense. Anyhow, get comfortable with your preferred beverage and dig in...

NYC, N.J. Mandate Teacher Shots; U.S. Deaths Climb: Virus Update They haven't done that here yet, but if they do our son will lose his job at teaching interior design. His wife is in danger of losing her job because she's a nurse and she doesn't want to get vaccinated either. I would hate to see them both become unemployed on account of protesting the vaccine. But they're pretty stubborn, so I don't know what's going to happen there in regards to her, as there IS a mandate that all health workers be vaccinated by a certain time in October. They've yet to institute a mandate for teachers too.

P.E.I. releases back-to-school plan aiming for 'near-normal' year I wish them nothing but good luck with that plan.

Windsor council backs mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for city staff More people being forced into taking the vaccine, eh?

'We're continuing to watch': N.B. cities looking at vaccine mandate for employees This is what I don't get.... This piecemeal method of forcing everyone to get vaccinated. It's this piecemeal fashion of instituting the vaccines along with the plethora of vaccines that don't have the same efficacy rates, nor are made the same way or work the same way, and the different rates of vaccinations in society from fully vaccinated, to half vaccinated to not vaccinated at all, that's allowing this virus to continue making  the rounds and mutating as it does. Stop this motherf'n BS and get your stupid acts together and do it the right way once and for all would you braindead morons that are supposed to be running this country and the provinces????? Issue the SAME DOSAGE FROM THE SAME VACCINE TO EVERYONE ALL AT THE SAME TIME AND GET IT OVER WITH!!!!! Right now all the various types, dosages, methods used and levels of vaccination rates are all contributing to this freaking neverending mutating nightmare. So pull your socks up girls and boys and start acting like the authorities you're pretending to be and mandate vaccines for one and all using the SAME VACCINE to end this everloving nightmare, once and for all! Use the Moderna vaccine or what are they calling now? Spikevax is that it? Well use Spikevax, as it's the one with the highest efficacy rates and lasts the longest! So stop dicking around and do it!

Biden says key argument for vaccine hesitancy gone after full FDA approval of Pfizer COVID-19 shot Is that why it was given full approval? And not because it actually works to prevent the disease? Because as we all know now, it doesn't.

Alberta confirms 1,972 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths over 3 days Wow. They're doing good out there, aren't they!?!

The World Needs to Know What Happened at the Wuhan Lab I don't suppose we'll ever find out though.

Delta cases show 300 times higher viral load - S.Korea study  Wow, if that's the case, no wonder it's spreading like wild fire and more people are getting sick from it, including the vaccinated. It's all of these half measures between vaccines, vaccinations and people that are causing this virus to continue to mutate into more and more virulent strains of itself.

Covid cases spike in S.D. after Sturgis bike rally  Did anyone really need a news story to tell them that this would happen?

Delta Air Lines is raising health insurance premiums for unvaccinated employees by $200 a month to cover higher Covid costs I don't know.... But I can't see how employees are letting companies get away with things like this. It's one thing to mandate vaccines period and let the employee decide whether they want to continue working there or not on account of it, but to arbitrarily decide to give the employee a pay cut because they didn't get vaccinated and using the health insurance premiums as an excuse for the pay cut seems a little devious to me. What if the employee already has their own health insurance? What right would the airlines have to deduct that money from them in that case? Seems like companies and gov'ts make shiete  up to suit themselves the deeper into this plandemic we get.

Woman who coughed on market produce, claimed virus gets jail I've seen all sorts of craziness associated with this virus, but this one is in the top 10 of craziest.

Vietnam to pay recovered COVID-19 patients to help in hospitals  Sure, why not? If they need a job and want to do that, I don't see why they shouldn't. I'm sure the medical staff could use the extra help, if it's like everywhere else where this virus is rampaging nonstop.

SHELF SHORTAGE Christmas ‘could be cancelled’ as UK food shortage crisis hits supermarkets Nothing like sending consumers into a panicked buying spree is there? There's plenty of time between now and Christmas and things could change drastically by then, as I'm sure they will.

Washington school is blasted for making student athletes wear ANKLE MONITORS so they can be alerted if another player tests positive for COVID Well it is known to be an incarernation, where they just love jailing people for eternity merely for stealing a hotdog and such. So they're just training these athletes how to wear ankle monitors and get used to them, because they'll probably wind up later with court imposed ankle monitors for things like stealing a bubble gum out of a bubble gum machine, or for something equally petty & silly. It's called habituating them to it, before they actually have to wear one later on in life.

Alberta Children’s Hospital to temporarily close 75% of operating rooms by Monday This is a children's hospital folks! So if you think it's not affecting young kids, take a look at this story and then think again!

Manitoba facing shortage of school bus drivers, thanks in part to pandemic Maybe they should use the same remedy Mass., USA, employed by requesting Cdn troops be sent to Man to drive school buses.

B.C. government once again changes its pandemic policies in a matter of hours This made me mad when the morons here in QC changed their minds every few days.  Glad they didn't do it on this time scale of every few hours or I'd have wanted to string them up personally myself.

New York's new governor adds 12,000 COVID-19 deaths to state's previous tally Nothing like inflating the numbers if the current ones aren't working well enough to scare people into submission and compliance.

N.W.T. reports 1st COVID-19 death as outbreak hits remote communities  Even the remote sparsely populated northern communities aren't safe from this scourge circling the globe.

Here's how to download and set up Quebec's vaccine passport app  We didn't bother. We just printed the QR code out and bring it with us whenever we go out somewhere.

Travellers to Canada doubled after border reopened to Americans Which is probably where a good portion of our cases are coming from, considering all the hijinx they've been pulling with false proofs of vaccine and whatnot. I'm sure more than a few Americans used one of those fake proofs/passports to get into Canada undetected.

Capitol riot lawyer who said he would never get vaccine has Covid and is on ventilator Lately it seems, or at least you'd think it's the case, that the only people winding up with Covid and on ventilators are those who swore they'd never get the vaccine - as that seems to be the only people the media are focusing on. They aren't focusing very much on those who got at least one shot or even both shots of the vaccine and still got Covid and put in the ICU & on ventilators no, only those who swore they'd never get vaccinated. Not the ones who didn't swear not to get vaccinated, but just haven't gotten around to doing yet. Not those people - they apparently aren't getting it, only the ones who swore they'd never get vaccinated are getting it apparently. Or at least that's the impression I'm getting from all the various news stories out there now.

Bombshell Study Finds Natural Immunity Superior to Vaccination That's normally  the way. So I don't know why this is so surprising. Unless the people comprising the medical community now a days have never seen anyone with natural immunity against anything as the only thing they're familiar with are the man-made vaccines against everything.

Trudeau Deploys Vaccine Mandates as Wedge Issue in Canada’s Election He's an ash hole and I wouldn't pay him any mind about anything. Here's hoping his lieberals are decimated to the person so that there isn't even 1 representative left of theirs in the house of commons after Monday's election.

Britons turn critical of government's pandemic response Cdns should also turn critical of the gov'ts response to the plandemic from the get go, but given how mind numbingly "forgiving" the Canadian sheeple are (except when it's someone they see walking a half a centimeter too close to someone else - then they have no compunctions about hitting speed dial on 911 to report them to the cops so those law breakers can get a hefty fine) on things like genecide, senocide, treason, embezzlement, in cahoots with large companies like SNC Lavelin and the like. They apparently have no problem with those sorts of crimes - they can not only tolerate but forgive those apparently, much, much easier than they can forgive their neighbour walking a half a centimeter too close to someone else - that is apparently an unforgivable crime and must be punished to the full extent of the law. That's what I call sanctimonious hypocritical moronic imbecilic sheeple. Aka the Canadian majority.

4,811 recovered Israeli COVID patients got reinfected — TV  There just doesn't seem to be any winning against this virus at all.

How long does COVID-19 take to spread through one household? Not long at all, I imagine. As any mother can tell you, when one kid catches a cold or a bug, it's not long before the other kids have it too and sometimes the parents as well. It doesn't take a study like this to know viruses spread rapidly in families - who hug, kiss, share food and drinks with each other.

Catching COVID-19 during pregnancy could make unborn children more prone to diseases Before expectant moms start to panic, you do see the word "could" in there, do you not? If so, you do realize that that's not a definite word like "will", it's merely a possibility, which means there's also a good possibility as well that this doesn't apply to your kid and they won't be more prone to diseases.

New York Daily News Study: One-third of Americans were infected with COVID by December 2020   That's a huge amount of people - at least 100 million people if not more. Wondering if the same ratio of people in Canada were also infected before December 2020?

UN asks N Korea to clarify alleged shoot-on-sight orders Personally I can't even imagine why anyone would want to sneak INTO North Korea.... That person has to be totally insane if you ask me and well having them removed from the gene pool by shooting them is probably a good idea, I think.

Liberals will hike supplementary pensions for low-income seniors, Trudeau says  Euuu goody, yippie kiyay!!!!! We ought to be rolling in megabucks then people! Considering he gives the same amount per kid per month that he's proposing to give annually to seniors. Euuuuu goodie goodie, we might be able to afford a donut at Tim Horton's to go with that pukey crap they call coffee on our once a month outing to treat ourselves. Wow.... Let's see what that boils down to extra per month for a single senior is $41.666666 (do all those 6s mean something here?) eu goody, goody, gumdrops that ought to really help out buying an extra teabag or two. And if you're 1/2 of the couple you as an individual will get an extra $31.25 a month as will your partner for a total of $62.50 for the two of  you. Yeah.... Rolling in the dough now, that's for sure! NOT!  YOU MISERLY INBRED ASH HOLE!!!!! You probably spend that in one morning on breakfast just for your ugly ashed self and that's when you're slumming it. So F off and drop dead you stingy ashed miserable miser! Another reason to vote that moron out of office because he seems to think those piddly amounts of money will be of any use to anyone. Maybe to a 5 year old that likes bubble gum and what used to be penny candy but is now 25 cents a piece candy. I mean it's comparable probably to the monthly allowance a parent would give a 5 year old for being a good kid and picking their toys up everynight before going to bed.

Officials investigate possible breach into Quebec politicians' COVID-19 passport Just goes to show how "secure" those things are. Now imagine they start being used for more and more things and includes more and more personal information on them....

Refusal to be vaccinated: Dube brandishes threat of a break in services They'll probably lose a lot of personnel if they push this vaccination bit too hard. They did in the US, so it could happen here too.

Researchers Ready Lab-Grown Covid-19 Delta Variant for Human Trials  Oh wonderful, yet another strain of this hideous virus that will somehow manage to escape it's confines and wind up on the outside to spread hither and yon, as if the strain we already have isn't enough they need to make a new one.

Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccine task force is being disbanded Great idea! Disband it now, now that things are worse than ever!

Trudeau campaign rally cancelled over security concerns amid protests hehehehehe.... Whoo Hoo! Finally some of the sheeple have found their courage and removed the blinders from their eyes! Lets hope more manage to do the same before they cast their ballots on Monday!

New drug may be a cure for both COVID-19 and herpes That would be awesome, especially if it also provided or helped to provide immunity against future covid infections.

COVID-19 variants significantly reduce protection of vaccines, prior infection Definitely not very good news, especially for those who are vaccinated.

Biden slams China as new report on Covid-19 origins is released  I betcha they'd be able to find out if they asked someone at Gilead Sciences, or maybe Bill Gates & Karl Schwab of the WEF. I bet they all know, but they won't say because that would implicate them too!

White House Releases Declassified COVID-19 Origin Intelligence Report For those who might be interested in downloading and reading it, it can be found here: Unclassified Summary of Assessment on COVID-19 Origins

COVID vaccine protection wanes within six months - UK researchers They're only talking about Pfizer and Astrazeneca here though. I wonder if it's the same thing for Moderna vaccinations?

This just in: Big gap between Pfizer, Moderna vaccines seen for preventing COVID hospitalizations  So we need wonder no more. Moderna is clearly the best hands down!

Anyhow.... As I have as many headlines, if not tons more than what I posted here still in my bookmark file, it's silly to think I'll get through them all tonight and given that it's already 4:30 am, it's highly doubtful.

So until I decide to tackle those headlines and any future headlines take care and stay safe.
