Culinary Celebrations in February - Taking a Little Breather From...

 Covid19

February 5, 2021

As I laid out what was happening and why in regards to this plandemic we're going through, in yesterday's post, I saw no reason why I couldn't skip the headlines today (because when you know what's going on and the timeline of it, who made what vaccine and who's squabbling over it, is just pointless play by plays leading up to the same score at the end, which is the great reset will start the moment 65 million have died, or everyone's vaccinated - I get the feeling they're dragging the vaccination rollouts waiting for more people to die as we're nowhere near 65 million yet).

Until or unless there's major changes in the stringent draconian laws keeping people confined, fined, and afraid it's just more of the same of that as well. I do have the headlines saved and may post them at some point, but I don't know when, because I don't see the point in it now, knowing the futility of it all. So unless there's a global uprising and and usurping of criminal genocidal governments around the world, there's basically almost no  point in posting the headlines unless they represent a major change in some aspect of this whole plandemic, for better or worse.

So I figured since we're all confined to our little domestic cages (called homes), there's no reason we can't find things to enjoy and celebrate as this story demonstrates, we all need things to celebrate especially now that we're in confinement: Why rituals are important pandemic survival tools

So with that in mind, I decided that maybe even though we're confined at home there's no reason why we can't celebrate Mardi Gras on the 16th without being able to go to New Orleans, or  have a nice Valentine's Day dinner with our significant other on the 14th, or celebrate the Chinese New Year on the 12th with a special Chinese dinner prepared by us at home, or indulge in some good old Super Bowl party snacks and food whether we're football fans or not on the 7th which is Game Day apparently. Not to mention this is Black History Month as well, to celebrate with enough mouth watering recipes to get you through the entire month and then some. So there's plenty different types of culinary adventures awaiting you just from the various celebrations happening this month.

With that in mind, I found a lot of different sites offering a lot of different recipes just for those special occasions. I know I intend to try out several of the recipes - maybe not all this month, but over time, because a lot of them look mouthwateringly delicious. So I hope you find something amongst these recipe sites to try on those special occasions & whenever the mood strikes you too.

There's 100s of recipes here for you to choose from. I hope you're able to find something yummy to cook for yourself  in order to celebrate a special day or event. Just so that not everyday resembles the typical Bill Murray Ground Hog Day. Like it sometimes feels to me. So enjoy, celebrate and enjoy the little things in life and whatever else you can find to enjoy and celebrate - heck make up reasons to celebrate, by naming days different days like say Fancy Clothes Day - where you and your household get dressed up in fancy clothes for the day and celebrate with a feast fit for the clothes. Or maybe snowball fight day, where the dinner is a little more casual and relaxed, but special - as in a casual dinner that you don't have often but everyone loves and would consider a treat to have. Or anything to just make life fun for yourselves, while being stuck in our stupid cages, like the guinea pigs, they think we are.
